I woke up the next morning to Clara softly snoring. I carefully detangled mu selft and went down stairs to make breakfast. I came back upstairs and f found clara missing. Panic aurged through me and I immediately got up and searched the entire house. She was no where to be found. I alerted everyone about the disappearance of their luna and told them to drop everything and look for their luna.  Fuck! Left her for a few minutes and she was gone. I do hope she is safe. If a single scratchis found on her I don't know what I'll do.

I was almost going crazy with the fact that Clara was missing. Worst case scenario is kept popping up in my mind. I was searching the entire lands and there was no sight of her. I was terrified. For the first time in my life I felt terrified and helpless.
"We will find her alpha, don't worry" Said Trin through the mind link
"I know, I'll not rest till she is found, I want her back "  I said
" You don't think that she ran off, do you alpha? " Asked hunter my gamma
" No, she hasn't run of. It's not. Possible otherwise her scent will be somewhere near " I  screamed. Although I was scared that she could have
"Alpha, I found her, near the edge of the lands leading to the forest. Come quickly. She has lost a lot of blood" Spoke Trinister in a panicked tone
" On my way, control the beeleding . Hunter grab the pack doctor and take him to my room" I said as I sprinted to the directions given by Trinister. She was hurt and she was fucking bleeding. Who the hell did this? He was going to die. Was it that mysterious wolf. He was so dead now.
I reached the place and saw my Clara lifeless lying in the grass
" I found her in the bushes alpha" Said Trinister. I immediately sank down next to her and scooped her up, sprinting back to the house.
I was pacing back and forth as the doctor examnines her. Many needles punctured her delicate skin and my heart ached seeing her like that
" Alpha, she was attacked but the vampires " Said the doctor. That made sense, that's why I could catch her scent, the vamp must have masked his and her scent with power. He was so dead now.
I turned to trin, hunter and alex, before j could speak
"On it alpha" Said the three of them
" No one hurts our luna and gets away with it" Said hunter and I nodded
" I want him alive, I'll kill him with my own to hands" I said
" Yes alpha" He said as the three of them along with a small portion of the  warwolfs took off.
"Increase the security, make sure nit even an ant crosses the border "  I roared as I stormed into my room. My eyes softened as I saw her unconscious form. I failed her, I failed to protect her.
" How much blood did she loss" I asked the doctor in a weak but authoritive voice
" A lot alpha, that blood sucker almost sucked her dry. She isn't having healing powers like us and it's going to take time for her to get better. That vampire even broke her delicate wrist" He said and I whimpered.
She was in so much pain and I couldn't do anything but wait and watch. Those blood suckers are dead. I' ll kill the entire coven if they ever cross my path .
" I'll take my leave, alpha, take good care of our  luna. She will wake up in an hour or two. If you need me you know where to find me" He said and I nodded.
I sat down next to Clara and ran my hand over her hair
"I am so sorry Clara, I failed you. I promise revenge will be taken" Whispered. I didn't realise tears were flowing through my eyes.
An hour had passed and my love was still  unconscious, I began to panic.
"Alpha, we found the blood sucker, be is in the celler, weakened with the vervain and chained up with the vervain chains" Said Alex
" Let me kill him then " I roared
" Alex, trin stay with your luna and if she wakes up make sure she is comfortable. " I said as I stormed downstairs to that blood sucker. The only males allowed near Clara were Alex and trin, they were like brothers to her.

I reched the celler and took in the weakened form of that bloody blood sucker and grabbed his Coller
" HOW DARE YOU ENTER MY TERRITORY AND ATTACK  MY MATE" I screamed as ongave him a punch across his face breaking his nose
" Her blood smelt so good, I had mubeye on her for the past 7 years but never got a chance to feed in her " He said earning another fucking blow from me
" I WILL KILL YOU, slowly , painfully, your death shall come" I said as I took out the vervain knife and began cutting his stomach and arms. I opened the roof a little allowing the sunlight to burn him
"AHHH" He screamed and I smiled as I watched him die. Finally all that was left was his filthy ash.
" Which coven did he belong to? " I asked hunter
" He was a loner " He replied
"Good, thay means vampire wars can be avoided" I said and he nodded.
"She is awake alpha and is asking for you"  Said Alex through the mind lin
"On my way"

I reached my room and saw Clara awake
"Clara! " I said running towards her and sitting next to her. Taking the spot where Trin had been sittingn ber eyes kit uonin seeing me.
"Ernst" She said as she attempted to get up
" Stay down Clara, you need to rest " I said as gently pushed her down.
" But I want a hug" She said and pouted. I laughed, though it was a painful one but I laughed
"Come here"  I said as I helped her up and gently guided her to my chest.
" It was so scary Ernst. Inwas sleeping in your bed when suddenly a blurry figure lifted me and yeeted out the window. I tried to run but he was so fast. The next thing I knew was that I was in the bushes with him sucking on my neck. I felt so weak and so scared Ernst. " She sobbed
" I am so sorry Clara, I failed you, I failed to protect you " I whispered as I rubbed her back
" Where were you? " She whispered ever so soflty.
" I am so sorry Clara. I'll never leave your side again. Can you forgive me? "  I asked while inhaling her scent through her hair. I felt her nod.
" Alpha, doctor is back" Said Trin. I nodded.
" How are you feeling luna" He asked
" Sore and tired " She whispered
" Mind if I check you? " He asked and she nodded. Be looked st me for approval to touch my mate and i nodded.
He listened to her heart beat and checked her blood pressure
" She needs a lot of rest. No tedious acrivitybfor her. No sexual activity either. Needs a lot of rest " He said and I nodded
" I'll do all. In my power to make sure she has the rest required " I said as an obidient pup
"Doc, can.. Can he mark me? " She asked. She wanted to be marked. I would love to but not when she is so weak. She needs tonrest. Marking her will also take a lot of energy
"In a few days, luna, you're still very weak" He said and I agreed. She nodded. The doctor left and  Trin came through the door with chocolates
" For my luna" He said as he handed the box to Clara
"Truffles, Scottish truffless my favourite. Thank you trin " She squeeled  opening her arms for a hug which he returned
I growled
"Sorry alpha, in the flow.... " He trailed
" Ernst you can't stop me from hugging my best friend" She said hugging him again and grinning. I whinned, dog whinned.
"Stop whining mate" She said making everyone laugh.
She took out a piece and poped the chocolate in her mouth and moaned.
" Feel free to eat one" She sakdntonme and tin as she took out one and ate it, moaning again.
Trin quickly took one
" I see why you like them" He said and she grinned
"Don't you want to trynkne Ernst? " She asked. I nodded. She opened one more and placed it in my mouth
"Mhmmm" I moaned " Yummy, but not as much as you " I said earning a soft slap on my chest as I cuddles her.  Trinistet wisely slipped out as i bent down and kissed her.
" You taste of truffles " She giggled between the kiss. I smiled
" I promise I won't let what happened happen again" I said as I helped her lie down
"I know. I trust you" she  whispered as ber eyelids began to close
" Sleep, my love" I said as I kissed her forehead and tucked her in.
Tonight sleeping next to her was going tonne a struggle, specially with the iv stands and blood stand taking up either side of the bed.

During the night I kept waking up from the couch to check on her and make sure she was comfortable. I adjusted the Ac temperature and blankets. She thought it was adorable of me to be fussing over her. The entire day we had spent watching Netflix and cuddling. She even made me read her to sleep!.
Only one question was left in my mind whonwas that new warewolf? Where did he/she go?. What did it want from us?.
