Derrick's POV    

As I was in Jake's arms I felt safe I felt protected. 'Why was I so stupid to think he was cheating. He was wearing his collar the whole time' I thought. I looked up at him to see him mumbling something under his breath. I reached up and booped his nose making him sneeze and look down at me. I smiled and kissed his cheek as he licked my ears.

"I'm sorry Jake. I shouldn't have jumped to conclusions," I frowned laying my ears against my head. "It's ok love. I forgive you. I won't say it wasn't wrong, but I do forgive you for it," he cooed. I laughed lightly and nuzzled into his fur. "It's late babe can we please take a shower then go to bed I tired," I smiled talking like a little kid. 

He didn't reply. Jake just picked me up and carried me into the bathroom. "hey," I laughed, "Put me down," he carefully put me down and I started to take off my shirt. Jake did the same as he wagged his tail lightly seeing me undress. After getting fully undressed I started the shower and stepped in being followed by Jake. 

I decided to tease Jake a little and started to sway my hips lightly as I sang How To Love while letting the hot water hit my face.

Jake grabbed my waist and sang along. I sang high and he sang low. 'God I love his voice' I said in my head as I turned around and wrapped my arms around his neck as we looked into each other's eyes. When we were done singing I connected our lips In a nice long kiss before pulling away slowly. 

We stood under the water of the shower lost in each's eyes before I decided to break the silence. "Babe?" I asked. "Yes baby?" he tilted his head slightly like he always does when he wants to know something. "Do you know what tomorrow is?" I smiled wagging my tail. "I don't know is it our 5th year anniversary," he smiled laughing a bit. 

I  nodded and hugged him he hugged back squeezing me tight then let go. We finished our shower and got dressed I raced Jake to the bedroom and won. "Yay I won!" I yelled jumping on the bed. "Yeah yeah I know," he smiled as he made me fall and caught me and set me down on the bed. I laughed and snuggled up next to Jake and looked up at him. He kissed my lips and wrapped his arms around me and laid his head tenderly on the top of my head and huffed as he closed his eyes. "Night love," he whispered. "Night hun," I whispered back as I slowly fall into a deep sleep.
