(Alice/Hu POV) 

Alice sat in the bullhead that was heading towards beacon. She was hired to pretend to be a new student at beacon and collect info on both past and present students attending beacon, across from her, Hu was on the floor, his legs crossed as his muscular arms rested on his knees. he was looking at her with his lifeless eyes, while Alice's job was to record info on passed and present students, his job was to asses if they were a threat or not to Cinder's plan or not, and if necessary, eliminate them.

"You know you can sit next to me," Alice commented as she smiled softly. "But why would I want to sit next to your ugly face?" he said "besides, I'm comfortable where I am right now," he said, leaning back against the seat. Alice simply rolled her eyes and shook her head, "fine don't come complaining to me when you get dirt and who knows what else on you," she said with a sly smile." I have already made sure it was clean when I sat down Alice," he said as he looked at her "I'm smart enough to do so before I go treading in places that might have something that I wouldn't want to touch, like you on the farm, in the cow pasture, when you . . ." he was hinting towards a memory that wasn't exactly pleasant

"Hu don't you dare say another word," Alice growled softly and pointed a finger at him threateningly. "or what, you gonna shoot me?" he said, in a teasing manner "oh wait, you actually have shot me before," he said as he looks at her, blinking softly "I probably shouldn't test that, should I?" He tilts his head "then again, being shot isn't the worst pain that I've felt". "Oh you know I can do a lot more harm than just shooting you," she smirked, her eyes flaring up a dark purple

"Oh?, I'll make this whole ship crash." he said, his black aura becoming visible, his clawed fingers curling slightly. Alice smirked as fire seemed to appear behind his head, out of nowhere. Hu would recognize this as Alice's semblance, The ability to create very powerful illusions, powerful enough to make you feel them Hu's eyes narrowed as he stood up slowly.

Hu was a giant compared to everyone else on board of the airship, hu grabbed a railing and slowly started to crush it in his hand, using his ability to increase his physical capabilities. The tension starting to rise in the room because of the two wolf Faunus. Until they both heard a high-pitched voice that made Hu's ears twitch, he looked down towards what was making the voice.

Alice looked to ruby, they were about the same height, "just having some friendly fun is all" She smirked her eyes slowly going back to normal. Hu nodded softly as he looked at ruby. Hu suddenly realized something, hu looks between the two, and then smirked, he looked at Alice and said "I knew you would be the shortest in the whole school" comparing their heights with his hands on both of their heads, gently ruffling up ruby's hair in the process

Ruby giggled at the statement and said "you two must know each other well, uh?" looking at them with a small smile on her face, Alice shot a glare at Hu her eyes flaring up again and was about to use her semblance on him before Yang, Ruby's sister, came walking over to investigate. "Hey what's going on here? Ruby who are these guys?" She asked glancing between Hu and Alice

ruby smiled at her older sister and said to her "I just met them, they know each other extremely well, but I don't know their names" Alice decided against using her semblance and forced a smile as turned to look at Yang and Ruby, 'wow that hair' Alice thought to herself as she got a full glimpse of Yang. "Uhh I-I'm Alice and this is Hu," Alice said stuttering slightly, introducing them

Hu looked at yang and muttered "she had nice hair" softly "she takes care of it, I can smell the product from here" he admired it from a distance because he could tell something bad would happen if he touched it, "Well it's nice to meet you both," Yang said smiling brightly at the two

hu said to her "nice to meet you too" with a kind smile as well, he could tell these girls where dangerous, making a mental note of them, Alice could see it because she had known him for this long, he was cold and calculating, trying to think of the best way to kill the two girls in front of him, his hand still on ruby's head

Alice would have to stop him before he crushed the girl's head right there and then, he was zoning out completely, just the thought of how to kill her remaining, Ruby looked at her sister with a small smile, both the other girls unaware completely of his killer instinct underneath that well-made mask of his "But as I saying me and my friend here," Alice said elbowing him quite hard to both get his attention and to get payback, "we were just having some good old fun, isn't that right?",

What she had done Made Hu realize what he had been about to do and nodded softly, chuckling, rubbing the back of his head softly after taking his hand away from ruby's head "sorry, I got carried away there" his eyes closed as he tilted his head slightly, Ruby nodded softly and said to them "We better get going, we're going to arrive at beacon soon" she waved as she walked away with her sister

"Yeah see you girls later," Alice smiled and waved as ruby and yang both walked away from them. Once they were gone Alice pulled Hu to the side of the ship where there were no students, "The hell was that1? You almost crushed her skull!? Do you know how much shit we would've been in!?" Hu looked away quietly, his ears slightly drooping "Sorry, I couldn't help it, you know how I get," he said "I don't know why she made me like that, I just felt the need to"

Alice sighed softly and said, "it's alright Hu, I lose control of myself at times too," looking up at him, suddenly the Ship docked, they were there at beacon, causing Hu to blin and stat the obvious "Oh, we're here" making Alice say, "you think?" Hu started to walk out of the ship, only to freeze as he saw someone from his past, someone who he didn't ever want to see again, it was Wiess, the girl he had used to play with at the mines until her father had found out, the memories coming back in waves, her father had been so angry when he found out she had been playing with a Faunus"Hey Hu What's wrong?" Alice asked walking up next to him noticing his ears and tail then seeing what he was staring at.

The realization hitting her like a ton of bricks, she looked towards Hu, who was slowly backing up "Hu, look at me, take deep breathes and focus on me," Alice said stepping in front of on him to take his vision off of Wiess, Hu looked down at her, is breathing ragged "i . . . can't" he panted out slowly, he couldn't breathe, he could barely talk, he needed to calm down or he was going to pass out, Alice thought about what to do before glancing back at him her eyes flaring up purple, "Hu, calm down, I'm right here," she said as she used her semblance to make them be in a dense, winter forest with evergreens all around, gold crisp air filling their lungs

Hu slowly went down to his knees, closing his eyes as he did, listening to the forest around, the silence, taking in the scent quietly, thankfully Alice knew him well enough to know he found snow bound forests comforting, he looked up at her and said quietly "T-thank you, can we just stay here, for a little bit?" Alice nodded softly"Yeah I'll keep you it up for as long as possible," Alice said. He knew that the longer and more powerful her illusions are the faster they drain her aura, and other side effects as well, Hu nodded quietly and said "Thank you for this" his voice softer then she was used to, his head was softly bowed, keeping his face away from her sight, not wanting her to see the pain that was visible on his faceAlice sighed softly and nodded her head. She kept a comforting hand on his shoulder as she kept the illusion up for a few more minutes before, having to dispel it as she was gasping softly , Hu slowly got his composure before he stood up, had his calm mask back on as he took a deep breath and said "Thanks" softly, "No problem," she said before turning to face beacon. "You ready to begin our adventure at beacon?" Hu chuckled softly and said "adventure," with air quotes "that won't last too long, you know what cinder has planned, as do i" he started to walk towards beacon "we're gonna tear this place to the ground" Alice chuckled and walked towards beacon right beside him "yeah we are"
