The sky darken and rain would be hitting us at any moment.

I felt fear rise inside of me and my head went dizzy.

All I could hear was Van yelling before someone slammed into Danny.

Being tackled to the ground I saw Skylur pinning him then I heard groaning behind me.

I looked to see darts sticking out of the two guards that were watching us. Then Amber walked up with a dart gun in her hand.

She put the gun up at the other members of the Dark Circle and they stayed away.

Skylur got off Danny and he was then standing in the way of the gun.

He put his hands up while Amber took the knife that Danny dropped then cut the rope and her brothers.

Breaking free from the ropes we turned over the serum and I picked up the book and closed it shut.

"You don't know what you just did, months of planing and finding the right ingredients," Danny shouted, " we were doing it for the best gold wolfs can't be trusted!".

"Wait till the Alpha hears what you've been doing," Amber said, "you guys okay?"

She turned her head towards us, "Yeah but how'd you find us?" I asked.

"Well after you guys disappeared at the party I went to Skylur but he said he hasn't seen you so after going to Emma's house we were worried," she continued," we told Claire that you were staying at my house for the night and then we went to find you".

"Then after a night of searching we gave up and decided to try again in the morning," Skylur said, "then we heard Jonny scream and found you here."

"Look I'm sure we can work something out." Danny said.

"Of course, I called the pack before we came out here and they had a tracker in my dart gun," Amber said, "they should be here soon."

"How about we just put the guns down and wait till they get here?" Danny said shaking.

Skylur looked at Amber and they slowly lowered their guns.

"See no need for violence," Danny said taking a step forwards but Amber still in alarm raised her gun back up to his face.

Then out of no where he hit the gun out of her hand and Skylur held his to Danny's head and Max grabbed Amber and pulled her back.

"Nice try but you won't get away that easily," Skylur said, "guess we'll have to put you out till they get here since your still antsy".

He pointed the gun at Danny's leg and pulled the trigger.

But it suddenly jammed, Danny saw Vans knife on the ground by his foot were he threw it earlier.

He was like lighting he took the knife and jammed it into Skylur's side and Max screamed.

Skylur fell to the ground holding his side while Max ran over to him.

She cradled his head in her hands and tears fell from her face.

Danny moved his knife around threading to hurt anyone who came close.

Suddenly I saw a pack of wolves, the same one from the full moon jump out of the wolfs circling Danny and his group.

Max still stayed clucking to Skylur as I saw a red puddle of blood stain under his shirt and drip on the ground beneath him.

I saw an old man come up to us, "Grandfather" Van said, " Skylur's hurt,"

"Then we must get him to our house and hurry!" Vans grandfather said.

Max and a blonde boy tried to pick Skylur up but he just groaned in pain.

They sat him down and I went beside Max.

"I'm so cold," Skylur said spitting up blood.

"I know but we're gonna get you help and you'll be fine," Max said but it sounded as if she was trying to convince herself more than him.

He shook his head, "No I won't I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," Skylur said with tears falling out of the corners of his eyes.

I looked to see Danny and his gang being taken by the pack out of the woods and leaving this scene behind.

She held his bloody hand and sobbed into his hair, "No your not leaving your going to live and-

Max was cut off by Vans grandfather, "I'm sorry Max but he's not going to make it".

She sobbed harder and Skylur lifted his hand up to her face and moved away strands of hair.

"I'v always loved your eyes," he said.

It seemed he was clinging to life just to get one last look at her.

His breath became shorter an shorter till he completely stopped.

The pack howled and it started to rain harder than I'v ever seen it.
