It was as if I closed my eyes just to open them seconds later.

"Wake up!" Max shouted in my ear.

I climbed down almost fall because I was so lost in thought.

While getting my clothes together I hear Max say behind me, "Where did you get that robe?".

I turned to her to explain Emma on the roof, running out, and going to Vans.

She looked at me with a big smile, " I called it, he likes you."

"Come on Max we just talked and I kept the robe because I was practically naked with my ripped clothes."

"Yeah sure," she said heading to the bathroom.

On the way to Vans I told her about the Dark Circle.

She seemed to be surprised but not completely.

When we arrived he was sitting on his porch with Amber.

He smiled got up and met me by the steps.

Max and Amber just sat and listen to us.

"Okay so there this guy we suspect of being in the circle and he's also throwing a party tonight," said Van.

"Oh my cow he's already asking her out!".

I looked over at Max she mouthed 'Sorry' and played with her shoe laces.

Van seemed to be embarrassed and rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well I thought since your now going to be helping me with this then we should go," he said, " so I guess your friend isn't far off ".

I felt shocked, so he is asking me out?

"Yeah I think we should go so we can keep eye on the guy," I said nervously twisting my fingers.

He nodded, "Okay so Amber and I will pick you and Max up at 8:30."

"Okay"I said.

Max went crazy with picking out a dress.

She had a big bin full of them and it's like she almost drowned in them because once she dived in I couldn't see her anymore.

She came out with a purple one that had a glittery cover and went to her knees.

For me I found a pretty black dress that was simple but one I put on made me feel very good.

I'm not much of a dress person but it spoke to me.

Max put my hair in curls and put her hair up.

Emma ales us what we were doing and went we said going to a party, "Oh your going to Danny's party," she said, " I can totally do your makeup."

After we were done we thanked Emma and waited for Van and Amber.

A big black truck came in sight.

Van was driving with Amber in the passenger seat.

We climbed in and on the way I notice something, "Hey what about the others?" I asked.

"Jonny and Jordan are meeting us there," Max said.

"What about Skylur aren't you going with him?" I asked.

Max looked down with a upset expression.

"We broke up" she whispered.

I was shocked, "Oh sorry I should't have asked."

It was quiet the rest of the way then we reached a house with music blasting out and a lot of colored lights.

When we got out Max and Amber went ahead.

Van walked next to me, "His name is Danny Jackson," Van said, "he's a browned haired and eyed show off,".

I had to hold back a laugh from that last comment.

We entered to a crowed room were all I could see was blinding lights and music that hurt my ears.

In the middle of the dance floor Van faced me.

"I got you this," he said pulling out a small flower.

It was a white rose, he placed it in behind my ear and said, "You look amazing."

I felt myself turn red and mumbled, "Thank you"

A slow song started playing and we looked at each other not knowing what to do next.

It was too crowed to find Danny and we needed to blend in.

He suddenly took my hands and said, "Wanna dance?"

"Yes"

I put my hand in his and on his shoulder.

He placed his hand on my waist and my other hand.

We walked back and fourth, "I'm sorry," I said, "I don't know how to dance."

"Your doing great" he said spinning me around.

It's like all the people in the room disappeared and it was only me and him.

I forgot about everything, Danny, Jonny and Jordan, my insecurity of loving another but being too afraid of being left again.

All I saw was him, his kind eyes and the way he always hung on to every word I said.

We moved swiftly and smoothly.

The song was coming to an end and we were so close, we press our heads together and moved side to side.

I open my eyes to look into his, our lips were inches apart.

My wolf inside me was getting excited.

We leaned closer, I was about to have my first kiss.

Then suddenly Max came out of no where and shoved us apart.

"Danny just left we need to follow him and quick!"

She grabbed my arm and Van followed.
