We tried following the paw prints but the heavy rain washed them away.

Max and Skylur went into town to get a new window and I cleaned up the broken glass.

I would have gone with them but I don't think I'm ready to go into a town were people might judge me.

Yes I got luck with these guys but I'v always had bad luck with strangers.

Now the summers almost over, I'v only been here for almost 3 weeks, and I don't even know what the town looks like.

Heck I don't even know what the towns called, my heads been in the woods so long that I total forgot how to be a person.

I took the broken glass and poured it in a bag.

I went out by the side of the house because there was a trash can there.

I open the lid and dropped it in.

I turned around and ran into someone.

I fell to the wet muddy grass, I stood back up quickly 'did I just run into the wolf that broke in!'

My butt was wet and dirty I tried to wipe it off but it just stuck to my hands.

I looked to see who knocked me over, I saw a boy my age, a little taller with jet black hair and green eyes that matched the forest.

He smiled at me, "I'm sorry", he said, I heard a crash but I didn't know what was happing till I saw a wolf run into the woods"

"Yeah someone broke in" I said, "We're okay, just have to replace the back window."

"Okay good" he said looking at the ground.

He looked back up, "Are you new I don't think I'v seen you in the pack before?"

" Yeah" I replied, "I'm Ira"

"I'm Van"

"I live with the Stones, I'm their foster kid" I said unsure why I am telling him this since we just met.

"Oh really?" He said, "how long you've been here?"

"Almost three weeks"

He nodded and stepped aside to let me walk by.

The first step I took my foot slipped in  mud and instead of falling in the dirt again I was caught by two arms.

Van had his arms around me hugging me close.

I blushed a deep pink and stood up,

"Sorry" he said.

There was a moment of silent and I saw Max and Skylur coming in the drive way.

"I guess I'll see you later" he said heading back to his house.

"Yeah bye" I said waving.

He waves back and disappeared into his house.

I finally put a interest for Ira!!
