The idea for this story can too me one day when my friend KahlanLaw told me she was writing the first Max v.s. Life.

Skylur, Jonny, Jordan, and Max are real!!
They're not werewolf but I asked them if they wanted to be in my story.

Bennie was originally Lennie; when I asked Skylur if he wanted any pets or anything his autocorrect changed the name Lennie to Bennie.

In the beginning stages of writing this I knew one of the characters were going to have too die; but something happen that told me 'He will be the one to die.

Yes a lot of the characters are based off real people but I don't put myself in the story often, I just a try to relate and put myself in their spot.

A lot of small things like Yuki was added in by the request of my friends.

Max (Kahlan) asked if her parents could be dead and gave me the idea for their deaths being in the pattern leading to Danny.

Skylur actually has two squirrels.
He got them recently and gave them their names off this book.

The dance scene was a memory of my middle school formal; i didn't have a date but I did go with friends

Skylur and Kahlan are dating. They have been since I started the book, they took a break and got back together.❤️ love you too.

Van is based off a boy I liked but moved away and I never got to tell him I liked him.

Amber is real as well; she dose not have a twin but is cousins with Skylur.
