Josie's pov
I wake up and get my armor on for my job. I slay rogue demons who kill people and hurt other demons. As I head to the bathroom to put my hair up I look to the mirror and scream "AHHHHHHHH". I had grew red wolf ears and a long tail. "MOM DAD" I yell as mom, dad, and my brother rush in. Mom looks at me then dad and they frown. By this time I was on my bed shivering. "Josie" dad says before him and mom sit on my bed. "You are adopted" mom says and I start to cry. "The chief of a magic wolf clan had a baby with a wizard and she made you a  werewolf"dad says. "But 2 days after you were born the counsel of balance thought you were to powerful to live so they started a war. A day before the war started your parents gave you to us because the knew you we in danger". After he is done I say. "I need some time alone" and my family get out. I call Sage my best friend and tell her the whole story. She is a dragon human hybrid and she is a fire soul. We talk and agree we will take revenge on the counsel on killing both my clans. "You ready" Sage says as I get my stuff in a big duffle bag. "Ya lets go" I say as I grab my scythe and sages katana. "Here" I say as I throw her a katana with fire marks on the handle. I strap my scythe to my hip and jump out the window with my bag. Sage follows as we head to our village. We walk through the village as we are I heard a scream. I ran towards the scream and saw atleast 30 humans hurting a little bear human hybrid girl. I charge at them and yell "PICK ON SOMEONE YOUR OWN SIZE JERKS"! And all the men who where there started attacking me. There were to many and Sage wasn't here yet. They started hurting me but I didn't wanna kill them so I held back. I punched harder and harder witch made some fly back. But there were to many so they tackled and kicked me. Soon I smelled something sweet and AMAZING. I loved the scent as I was enjoying it a fox boy my age came and said "didn't your mothers tell you not to hit a girl". As I punch my way out of the tackle I see him. He has orange hair with black strands. His ears and tail were orange with black ends. He is a fire fox and he says "fox fire" and with that a black flame came and chased the people away. I fainted and blacked out after that.
Time skip
I wake up in a unfamiliar room with the fox boy one one side and Sage on the other. "I will get her some water" Sage says and heads off. "I know you are powerful but you could have gotten hurt pup" he says in a caring and concerned voice. "I just wanted to help that girl and I am not a pup" I say in a sassy tone. He laughs at this and says "my name is Flame" and smiles with a cute. Wait did I just think cute ugggg. "I'm Josie" I say wile blushing. "I'm Sage" Sage says walking in with a cup of water. I drink it and ask "we are going to avenge my parents death and we need some fire power. Wanna help" and he nods with a smile. "I will make a exception for you Josie" he says and I blush. "Let's get going then" Sage says and I get up and we 3 go out the door
