Luke's P.O.V.
I pulled at the ropes that bound my paws, my heart pounding harder as a hill came into a view with a house built into it. Fear pulsed faster through my body as I struggled to get out of Luna's grip, only to have her shush me and hold me tighter. Sadly... Ulva noticed.
"Why don't I hold the rabbit? You need to get ready for bed and I need to get him situated." Ulva offered, holding out her hands to take me.
I froze, breathing faster as I looked from Ulva to Luna. "Okay." Luna sighed with disappointment, turning to Ulva and held me out.
During the exchange, I struggled, trying to get out of their hands and into the snow that looked more welcoming then my original captor. Ulva wrapped her hands around my body and took me from Luna, who stroked one of my ears before running into the house. I breathed faster as I was brought to her chest, her breath tickling my ear as she growled softly, squeezing my body in her hands.
"You better behave, little rabbit. Luna likes you, so that means you live longer then I intended." She whispered in my ear, making my heart stop in fear. "She doesn't know your a shiftier, and I don't want her to know. If she finds out, then I have no problem killing you."
I breathed a little faster as she tucked me in her arm, going to the house that was built into the hill, my body shaking in pure fear. Ulva opened the door, I closed my eyes, expecting the smell of blood, death and damp earth, only for the warm scents of warm vanilla and pumpkin spice intrude my nostrils. I opened my eyes and saw a dark living room, only able to see the outlines of a couch and a couple of chairs along with the silhouette of a table. Ulva walked over to a wall that had the smell of soot and smoke, taking something off of what had to be a mantle and pulled a trigger, causing a small flame coming from the object. I watched as she lit whatever was in the wall, a fire roaring instantly from a fireplace and lit the room with a warm glow.
"Auntie Ulva?" Luna spoke up from behind, making the black wolf stand up and turn around, placing the lighter on the mantle. "Where's the bunny going to sleep?"
Luna was wearing a pair of pink pajamas, still in her humanoid wolf form as she looked at me when I began to breath a little faster.
"He's going to be in my room." Ulva told blankly, going to one of the chairs and sat down, pulling me out from under her arm and set me on her lap.
"Why can't he be in mine?" The grey wolf pleaded, coming around and stood in front of the chair, pouting at the larger wolf.
"Because you don't live here, you just visit when the pack has an event going on." Ulva explained, untying the ropes on my front two paws. "He needs to get used to being in my room, so its best to have him in there for the first few weeks."
Weeks? What was she planning to do with me? I jumped when I felt a finger stroking between my ears, looking up to see that it was Luna, her eyes shinning a little as she looked at me. I tried to control my breathing, looking at my front paws as Ulva stroked my side before pulling the rope off my hind legs, holding me down so I couldn't run. I studied the room I was in, finding it had an Autumn theme to it, going from fall yellow walls to fall red carpet and Autumn brown couch.
"Should be warm enough. You should shift and go to bed." Ulva instructed, Luna obeying with a nod.
She had long grey hair with bangs hanging slightly over her sapphire blue eyes, her skin tanned to almost pure perfection. Luna raced to her room once she shifted, leaving me alone with Ulva once again. I looked up at her slowly, seeing the that she was looking at me in thought, tilting her head a little. She shook her head and grabbed me, nestling me in her arm before she stood up and walked into the opposite hall that Luna ran through. Ulva brought me to a room that was heavily scented with warm vanilla and also has an Autumn theme.
The bed was a dark, fall red with leaf patterns sown into the fabric, matching pillows leaned on the headboard with an Autumn orange blanket on the foot of the bed. A nightstand stood next to it with a bookcase that overflowed with large, thick books, a chair nestled in a corner of the room with a leaf design in the fabric. The soft looking, dark, Autumn red carpet almost covered the whole floor, a dresser pressed against a wall with a desk next to it, that was cluttered with papers and books. Ulva clearly likes Autumn, and it's strange enough that it was my favourite season.
The black wolf went to the other side of her bed, revealing a large cage that couldn't be seen in the doorway. My heart paused as I tried to get out of her hold, only to have Ulva growl as she knelt in front of the large cage, opening the door and tossed me inside almost carelessly. I race back to the door of the cage, only for her to slam it shut and lock it, watching me as I slide into my human form to unlock the cage. Darn it. It unlocks with a key. I look into the creepy eyes of my captor as she studied me like her next meal... which I probably was.
Ulva's P.O.V.
I put the Autumn brown rabbit into the cage, watching with amusement as he tried to get out before I closed it on him. I watch him as he slide into his human form, his body growing and his ears sliding down his head and shrunk, his small, pink nose growing to a human's. His fur disappeared and was replaced with warm, dark blue jacket and thick jeans. The hair gathered on top of his head and hanged over his forest green eyes, his skin pale as his paws turned into hands that tried to unlock the cage.
I smiled as he grew tense, irritation written on his face, a small vein in his pointed jaw pulse, his eyes flicking to mine in his frustration. I studied his forest green eyes, finding specks of brown and red surrounding his iris. I walked away before I got pulled into his eyes, needing to check on Luna to make sure she was in bed.
"Let me go." He growled, sparks of joy running up my spine by the sound of his voice.
I ignored him and walked out of my room, closing the door behind me as I leaned on it and shut my eyes. I don't understand.... one minute, I'm hunting, the next I bring home only a rabbit shiftier that I physically can't kill. When I first saw him... it doesn't matter. He's mine now. I smile at the word as it made my heart leap.
"Mine."
