Wind rippled through Karma's furr; making it look like waves crashing against the seashore.
Her paws thundered against the forest floor sounding like the indians from long ago playing they're drums and her adrenaline rushed through her veins.

As she reached the outskirts of the woods she could spot the sea.
Slowly, her body began to transform and as she tore free from the forest all you could see was a human six year old followed by her brothers and sisters diving into the salty waters with shrieks of joy.
Careless to what was happening back home...

"Hey Mom! Dad! We're back! Where is everybody!? Mom! Dad!" Karma's eldest brother yelled as they came in through the door still laughing.
"Mom?" Willow whispered with tears flowing down her cheeks as she spotted they're mother in wolf form bleeding on the floor, dead.

Everyone's laughter died out only to be replaced by a new one.

"Hahaha... You're next." A man stepped out from hiding and shot down Willow as Lukas, Chace and Mist transformed into wolves midpounce as they attacked the hunter.

But Karma didn't budge.
The one who was always full of energy and life couldn't budge as her siblings were outnumbered and killed but bringing the hunters down with them.

Karma heard faint breathing and looked down to see her eldest brother Lukas morf back to a human in order to warn his youngest sibling "Run" he managed wheeze out before he gave his last breath and collapsed.
He died in his human form.
He could never be returned to mother nature like his family.

Tears ran down her cheeks.
She whailed with loss as yells could be heard from outside and howls from her comrades as more hunters attacked the small village of werewolves; setting fire to everything in sight.

"There's a girl here!"
She bashed and thrashed as they took her away.
Mistaking her for a human.
But Karma was a wolf.
