Chapter Three, Bonding

Sirius didn't know how long he sat there with his daughter in his arms but he didn't care he had four long years to make up for and he will relish and treasure his time with her; she's his little light, his star. When his tears finally ran out he carded his fingers over his daughter's blonde locks soothing her as he whispered tenderly to her with promises he swore to keep. He will do anything and everything in his power to make sure he's never under any form of mind control again, never will he be separated from his daughter again.
"Shhh little star." shhh'd Sirius, kissing her temple lovingly. "I have some people for you to meet, don't worry Daddy won't put you down. I promise." Sirius swore when her little arms tightened around his neck.

"Okay Daddy." Lilijana whispered, tucking her head into his neck as he stood from the stairs, never once putting her down or breaking his promise.
"This baby, is your Great-Grandfather and my Grandfather, Arcturus Sirius Black." Sirius introduced, Lilijana's eyes lit up hearing 'Sirius'.
"That's your name, Daddy!" Lilijana exclaimed cutely, as laughs softly reverberated around the foyer.
"It is." Sirius agreed, kissing her forehead, lifting her higher on his hip and taking a step closer towards his Grandfather. "I was named after him and my Great-Grandfather.

Grandfather, this is my daughter Lilijana Nikki Adhara Potter-Black-Mikaelson. Heiress to our House and Lady to the Houses of Potter, Slytherin, Gaunt, Selwyn, Grindelwald and Peverell. She's also Lady of House McKinnon from her Godmother Marlene and Heiress to Houses Prince and Lupin from her Godfathers, and finally, she's also Lady to House Emrys. But I'll be filling in for her Ladyships for obvious reasons." Sirius introduced, leaving Arcturus stunned at the power and political clout behind his Granddaughter but all he cared about right now was meeting his Granddaughter and helping his Grandson so he doesn't burn himself out with all the proxy Lordships on top of the Black Lordship.

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Little Star." Arcturus beamed, he couldn't help but smile at his cute Granddaughter she was just so adorable as she peaked out at him and waved shyly; he knew his beloved Melania would have loved her and would've spoiled her. "Why don't you call me Grandfather, hmm?" He asked, winking dramatically at her and getting a little giggle.
"Hello Grandfather." She said shyly a smile playing upon her lips as she tried to stifle a yawn.
"Is her bedroom ready?" Sirius asked knowing someone will hear, even though he wanted to reintroduce her to Remus and Severus tonight, he wasn't going to keep her up when she's been through so much.

"Little Missy's Wolf-Daddy is decorating her room with Auntie Becky and Uncle Kol." Lolly answered as she popped in with Remus. A moment later Daisy returned with Severus. At the arrival of two new men they didn't know (and it didn't seem like Lilijana knew them either) the four Hybrids approached from the shadowed doorway where they had been standing watching to make sure everything was well and no one was going to hurt their little Miss.
"Who are you?" Wong demanded, his Hybrid eyes showing.
"We aren't here to hurt her." Severus assured them, raising his hands along with Remus. "I'm Severus Snape."

"And I'm Remus Lupin, we're her Godfathers." Remus added.
"Apologies but we have to make sure Lili is protected at all costs." A woman with long black hair apologised. "I'm Nadia Lui, this is my husband Wong Lui, and these are Jane Simon and Sebastian Myers." Nadia introduced.
"They're sort of like me!" Lilijana piped up. "But are more like Daddy Nik. Will you stay?" She asked looking at her Godfathers with a furrowed brow, she vaguely remembered them.
"Of course we will, Cub." Remus assured her quickly, giving her a soft but loving smile.

"We're not going anywhere even if you or either of your Daddies order us away we will refuse and stay right here." Severus promised sincerely.
"Is the bad man gone? Will he take me away again?" She asked fearfully, her Tribrid eyes (both witch sides merge together in the form of her eyes) glowing brightly as tears built within her eyes.
"NEVER!!!" Everyone protested even the House-elves and Nik, Bekah and Kol who had heard her in the Heiress bedroom, shouted.
"He's gone and can never harm you or take you away again." Arcturus promised, running his fingers through her loose curls; slowly but surely Lilijana relaxed into Sirius' hold and her Grandfather's nimble fingers, succumbing to the trying, emotional and traumatic events of the day as she slipped into the awaiting arms of Morpheus.

Once he was sure she was asleep resting with her head in Sirius' lap, after they had all moved to the lounge including the three elder Mikaelsons who had finished Lili's room but would show everyone in the morning, Arcturus finally posed the question to Sirius that had been burning at him for the last two hours.
"She's the Lady to House Emrys?" Arcturus asked, stunned. "There hasn't been a member of our family that has qualified for such an honour for over two hundred years, despite us being descended from Merlin himself."
"She is." Sirius confirmed, carding his hand gently over her head savouring the moment with her as their bond solidified within his chest once more becoming bright and more active. "She's one amazing and special little girl." He stated which everyone agreed to.

However, when Kol - being half a little shit and half wanting everyone to know the truth - passed around her Inheritance Test, Calming Draughts had to be added to their teas or to their drink of choice. Once the Calming Draughts had done their job, multiple voices clamoured over each other in a bid to express the multitude of emotions they were feeling but were now muted by the potion.

"That bastard!"
"She has three mates!"
"Oh, how I wish I could feed the wrinkly bastard to Moony!"
"Wouldn't he get sick?" Kol asked, eyes sparkling gleefully.
"Yes, you're right. Perhaps mauling him then."
"Don't worry Moony, Death will have some horrific punishments waiting for him and those that helped him. Death always favoured the Peverells, then the Potters who are descended from Ignotus."

"We're lucky she's not an Obscuriel! I should've poisoned him while I had the chance to at Hogwarts!"
"All these abilities.... Mother Magic's Mercy!... we will need to start tutoring her earlier, dear Grandson, otherwise her magic will lash out dangerously so."
"Yes, I agree Grandfather, but..."
"But what?"
"My daughter, my Pup. My Little Star. My sweet innocent little girl has three mates! THREE MATES!!"

"Quiet down before you wake her!" Rebekah hissed, slapping Sirius around the back of the head as Lili stirred and muttered in her sleep before settling once again.
"Sorry Princess." Sirius whispered, kissing her cheek.
"I don't know who took it worse," Jane commented, "Sirius or Nik and Kol." Everyone couldn't help but to laugh albeit quietly at the aforementioned trios pouting faces. Even though they would deny empathetically and claim otherwise.

After yesterday's events everyone had decided a quiet peaceful day was in order. So for lunch they had decided to have a family picnic in the grounds with contended smiles covering each of the adults faces as they watched Lili trying to catch the coloured puffs of smoke escaping from Severus, Remus and Sirius' wands (Sirius had gotten a new wand that morning). Delighted giggles escaped from Lili's lips as her Daddy Sirius and her Godfathers (who had been introduced to her at breakfast to a happy result) took turns in playing with her.

Lilijana was the happiest she's felt in a very long time, but she was also starting to get a little overwhelmed. For the first time in four years, and the first she could remember, she had a bedroom that had been lovingly designed and created by her Daddy Nik, Auntie Bekah and Uncle Kol, she also found out she got her love for drawing and painting from her Daddy Nik and the love of the stars from her Daddy Sirius.

The three elder Mikaelsons had created a calming space that was entirely Lili's own. It was a celestial room with mint green air balloon wallpaper on the north, east and south side of the room with a white wooden border on the bottom, a rattan bed with rust and navy bedding on the east side of the room, a white pendant chair with white and rust orange pillows hung from the ceiling on the north of the room in front of the windows draped in light sage curtains (matching the ones draped over the bed) looked out over the grounds, and a beige fluffy carpet covered the floor.

The south of the room had an oak door leading to the hall, a low, long white bookcase containing a multitude of books with a matching large white toy chest sat beside it. In the corner of that wall sat a navy teepee with a white and grey flower rug creating a reading corner for Lili. The ceiling was painted black with golden constellations and golden star garlands hung from the ceiling. Finally, the grand pier De resistance was the west wall - including the doors to the bathroom and walk-in closet - were painted in a stunning mural of Hogwarts including the boat ride across the lake First Years took.

It was breathtaking and calming as Nik wanted to give his daughter something that would connect her to her Grandparents, and to James and Lily. He could remember the first time Monty showed it to him and he knew his Little Wolf would love it when she turned eleven. Especially as the old fool was no more.
"Little Wolf?" Nik asked concerned, getting up and kneeling before her. "What's wrong? Talk to us baby."
"I don't deserve it." Lili muttered sadly, looking down at her feet.
"Deserve what, munchkin?" Sebastian asked, concerned and confused.

"My room. I killed them, but I swear I didn't mean to!" Lilijana cried distraught, the events of the day before catching up with her. "Don't leave! Please!" She sobbed, looking around at her reunited family, particularly her Daddies; breaking their hearts into a million pieces. Without a thought Sirius and Nik enveloped her in a tight cocoon that radiates nothing but love, safety, acceptance and security as they kissed her head and temples whispering reassurances.

"Listen to Daddy Sirius very carefully Lilijana," Sirius reasoned, his voice soft but firm, "it isn't your fault! You protected and defended yourself and that can never be considered bad. If you hadn't defended yourself neither I, Daddy Nik, your Godfathers, your Grandfather, Aunties Bekah, Nadia and Jane and Uncles Kol, Wong and Sebastian would've never got to see you again and then the world would be a very dark place without our Little Star. I love you so very much Lili and I'm so sorry I wasn't there to protect you from the bad of this world. But never again I promise!" Sirius proclaimed strongly.

"I love you too Daddy Padfoot, and it's not your fault. The bad man hurt you like he made Grandpa Tom hurt Daddy James, Mummy and then me." Lili confessed, her hand going to the healed scar on her forehead.
"Well then Little Wolf, how can it be your fault if it's not ours?" Nik asked, kissing over her scar. "We love you more than anything in this world. You are our life, our light. What those people told you was wrong! You are loved. You are special and you are wanted!"
"Our strong little Star-Wolf!" Kol and Wong proclaimed dramatically, making Lili laugh.
"Now, let's play. Your IT!" Kol exclaimed, tagging Lili and running off starting a large game of tag.

'Oh if the Wizarding Society and the supernatural one could see us now.' Severus thought sardonically, watching the renowned Pureblood Arcturus Sirius Black and the 'Big Bad Mikaelsons' playing tag with a five year old little girl who finally got to act her age despite having grown up too fast, but they would all help her. Then she would rise up like a Phoenix stronger from the support of her family.
"You're IT Uncle Sev!" Lili exclaimed, running away giggling.

"I'm going to get you Bambi!" Severus shouted, chasing his Goddaughter who screamed giggling as she ran faster.
"Grandfather! Save me!" Lili giggled to everyone's delight as she ran towards her Grandfather who had paused for a drink. They all knew she would need help to deal with her trauma but for now they all left their worries to deal with later just happy to be together again bonding as a family with Lilijana Nikki Adhara Potter-Black-Mikaelson as the glue to their mismatched family. A little girl they would do anything and everything for, even go to hell and back. A little girl who they would protect with the ferociousness of a pack. All to see her smile and laugh.
