Chapter One, Family Reunited

~ Several Weeks Earlier ~

"Nik, what's this?" Rebekah demanded, placing several photos - moving photos (thankfully she and her siblings knew about the Wizarding World) - and paintings down in front of Nik. Just moments after he'd thrown several bottles of his best bourbon against the wall after a report that detailed his daughter's whereabouts, or lack thereof. The photos in question were of Nik with a woman with blonde hair and cerulean eyes and a man with messy black hair and hazel eyes behind round spectacles in the twenties; pictures of them with a baby boy who looked like the man in the previous pictures; multiple pictures as the baby boy grew up over the years.

Pictures of Nik with four other people, the man from the previous pictures who looked identical to his father with a beautiful redhead with emerald eyes, a rather handsome man with black curly hair and silver eyes, and a kind-looking man with sandy brown hair and amber eyes, with multiple scars covering his face; pictures of them when the woman was pregnant - including scan photos; and finally, pictures of them with a beautiful baby girl with blonde curly hair, a left eye which was a bright blue colour with flecks of silver and an emerald right eye portraying a year together.

What had shocked Rebekah was how happy Nik had looked in the pictures - she hadn't seen him that happy since they were human - but now, as he reverently traced his fingers over the people in the photos with tears in his eyes and held the picture of himself and the gorgeous baby girl to his chest, Bekah swore that she would do anything to see her brother that happy once again.
"They were my best friends and this is my daughter, your niece, Lilijana Nikki Adhara Potter-Black-Mikaelson." Nik revealed to a stunned Bekah and Kol (who was listening outside the door, having been undaggered when Bekah was).

"I - I have a niece?" Rebekah stuttered in awe and shock, a smile blooming on her face as she gazed at the beautiful baby. "How?"
"Yes. But she was taken from me and for the last four years I've been trying to find her." Nik confessed, he paused for a moment before he revealed the truth behind daggering them, the need to create an army of Hybrids, how he met the Potters, how he can sire children, the war in the British Wizarding world leading to the deaths of nearly all of his friends and how his daughter came to be.
"We'll help you find her, Nik, build the army and we'll stop the Scooby gang from getting involved, and stop our two goodie-two-shoes brothers from getting in our way if they un-dagger them." Kol announced, throwing open the double oak doors.

"Of course you were listening." Nik sighed. "But truly?" He asked hopefully.
"Of course." Kol and Rebekah agreed.
"As long as the three of us create a new Always and Forever." Kol bargained. "One where I'm included."
"We always wanted to include you, Kol." Rebekah and Nik assured him.
"You're my annoying elder twin, Kol. Of course I wanted to include you and besides, you and Nik were partners in crime. It was -"
"Elijah." Kol scoffed. Once Nik and Rebekah nodded they created a new Always and Forever, one where they swore to always remain true and respectful to each other, to be siblings, a family and partners in crime, and most importantly they swore to never stop looking for Lilijana and to protect her.

~ Now ~

The mischievous trio had come up with a glorious plan to fool the scooby gang and get rid of their deranged father so he would no longer pose as a threat to them but most importantly, Lilijana, and they couldn't believe how well it was working. Did the fools really think Bekah and Kol would betray their brother? They weren't Elijah! They loved their brother but when it came to the Doppelgängers his and Finn's senses seemed to fly out the window; and that wasn't something they could afford right now, which is why their two eldest brothers remained daggered in their coffins for the time being hidden with Kol's magic. Plus, Finn was too suicidal and had nearly caused all of their deaths at the hands of Mikael.

Nik had helped Kol unlock his magic - which his mother had locked away when she locked away Nik's wolf - several centuries ago with the help of the Goblins. Goblin magic really was a sight to behold. However, at this moment in time, they were playing along by Nik throwing a Homecoming party at the Lockwoods' with all of his newly turned Hybrids in attendance while Bekah and Kol pretended to be on the side of their so-called father and the Scooby Gang. It was ridiculous how naive they all were that not only did they think they cared about the Doppelgänger but that they could be tricked so easily - especially their father - that they thought they didn't know Nik had killed their mother, they had helped as they loathed the woman as much as Nik did. Always and Forever after all.

As Nik faced down Mikael - who had Katherine pretending to be Elena - with Bekah and Kol flanking him on either side.
"I thought you were with us!" Damon demanded, he and Stefan were pinned to the wall by a wave of Kol's hand, and wasn't that a shock to know that not only did the Original family have three Original vampires but also an Original Hybrid and an Original Heretic. Kol couldn't help but laugh sardonically at these morons.
"You really think my twin and I would side with you and our deranged father over our brother?" He asked incredulously, gesturing to himself and Bekah.
"Purlease." Bekah scoffed, rolling her eyes.

"You're morons fighting over the same girl who's tearing you apart and you don't even realise it. And what's really funny is you didn't learn the first time around." She laughed, gesturing to Katherine in Mikael's hold. "Did you really think we wouldn't be able to tell that that's Katarina?" She asked the Salvatore brothers and her father.
"I should have known." Mikael spat enraged. "But no matter I -"
Whatever Mikael had been about to say was halted by a regal looking owl winging its way to Nik with an official letter attached to its leg. Ignoring everyone around him Nik quickly read over the letter and was filled with so many different emotions all warring within him trying to take control that he stumbled a little; thankfully Kol and Bekah were there to support him.

"What is it, Nik?" Bekah and Kol asked, sharing a troubled look with each other they had never seen their brother overwhelmed with so many emotions. Without answering them he passed them the letter to read for themselves before charging at his father with the White Oak stake that Kol had summoned from their father at the start of this little setup. While Bekah and Kol were reading the letter with a hand covering their mouths - Bekah with tears in her eyes - a fight was raging on before them between their father and Nik, but Nik was consumed with a fierce protective desire for his little girl and an eagerness to get to her that he managed to overpower his father and drive the stake through his heart.
"I'm not afraid of you anymore, father! You are now nothing!" Nik spat - grabbing Katarina before she could run - as Mikael burst into flames leaving that to be the last thing he heard as he was reduced to ash.

"If I didn't have somewhere more important to be you'd all pay for this little setup!" Nik threatened the Scooby Gang who looked on horrified - the witch trying to undo Kol's spell on Damon and Stefan at Elena's behest but it was too strong. "However, my sweet sister, I did promise you the death of a Doppelgänger so why not have the second one." Nik smirked, pushing Katherine into Bekah's arms who immediately ripped her heart out while staring at Elena, promising with her eyes that this would happen to them if they didn't leave them alone. "Come!" Nik ordered his four remaining Hybrids - who he had asked beforehand if they wanted to become Hybrids and they'd jumped at the chance, eager to escape the moon's clutches.

As one, each Hybrid placed a hand on the shoulder of one of the three siblings who each held onto each other, once the letter was back in Nik's hand he activated the Portkey that took them away from Mystic Falls and the Scooby Gang, away to Gringotts London bank where Teahai was waiting with a transformed Lilijana.

Once the group of vampires and Hybrids had got their bearings after International travel - which Kol loved and was VERY eager to try again - they heard soft growling and turned to look in a corner at the far end of the office where a small white wolf cub sat growling at them with its hackles raised.
"Ahh Lord Niklaus, I'm glad you arrived so promptly." Teahai smiled, showing off her sharp pointed teeth. "And who are these?" She asked with an eyebrow raised, however, Nik didn't hear her as he was staring at his beautiful daughter. Even as a wolf she had one emerald eye and a bright blue colour with flecks of silver. Showing his Hybrid eyes he crouched down speaking soothingly to his daughter leaving the explanations to his brother and sister.

"It's okay baby. Daddy's here. No one is ever going to harm you again, I swear it." Nik promised. "You had an amazing Mummy and three Daddies who loved you so much and we're fiercely protective of you. Your Mummy and Daddy James died protecting you from a Dark wizard who was controlling your grandfather Tom, when you were a baby and you were stolen from me, I'm Daddy Nik, and your Daddy Sirius so we couldn't look after you. I have been searching for you for four years, sweetheart. I never stopped and I will always love you and protect you for Always and Forever." Nik swore, as he spoke Liliana slowly calmed down until she was no longer growling at them and instead curled up into a ball watching them carefully.

"You're a Quadbrid, my little wolf. Your mother Lily was a Core Witch, and your Daddies James and Sirius were Core Wizards. I'm a werewolf but magic made me a vampire, which means I'm an Original Hybrid. My mother was a nature witch so you will have a bit of each making you extremely special." Nik smiled proudly, getting cute little sounds from his daughter while still in wolf form. "To turn back all you have to do is picture yourself as a human. It won't hurt this time, baby, I promise." Nik said hurriedly when she whined. "I don't know what happened to you but I swear no one will hurt you again, and those that do will meet a swift end!"

After explaining who they were and who the Hybrids were to Teahai, the Goblin Account Manager of the Most Noble and Most Ancient Houses of Potter and Black, Kol, Bekah and the four Hybrids watched enthralled as Nik spoke as softly as possible to his daughter so as not to frighten her; it was like seeing their old brother back, the one they had as humans. Slowly Lilijana's tense posture relaxed and she slowly turned back into herself revealing a beautiful but tiny blonde little girl who looked more like she was two years old than five. Realising her clothes had torn she curled up into a ball to cover herself, only to flinch when a jacket was placed over her gently. It swamped her small form but it had the added effect of Nik's scent surrounding and enveloping her, calming her and her wolf.

It also triggered something in the deep recesses of her mind, something she thought she had made up in the long hours in her cupboard after her uncle had beaten her, until her gift of Foresight proved her otherwise. "Dada." Lilijana whispered, quietly, hesitantly, a memory of her younger self asking Nik not to go: 'Dada, no go!'
"Daddy." She said loudly, tears gathering in her eyes.
"I'm here little wolf. I'm here." Nik whispered, gathering her in his arms and kissing her hair as a tear rolled down his cheek as she sobbed in his arms. As they watched Bekah, Kol, Teahai and the four Hybrids couldn't help the inner turmoil they were all feeling - some even had tears running down their cheeks as well - it was heartbreaking to see but they also had the feeling that they didn't know half of what this little girl had gone through in her short life.

As Lilijana sobbed in her Daddy's arms, all of the wounds she had sustained before her arrival at the bank started healing, causing her to wince as they snagged a little on her Daddy's jacket as he zipped it up over her bare form. Once they had all calmed down, Lilijana pulled back offering a small smile to her Daddy, a hand reaching up to her neck only to freeze when she didn't feel the necklace that was the only good constant in her life; until now. Just as she had started to panic as she couldn't find it nor her teddies they were passed over to her by a man that looked similar to her Daddy but she backed away further into her Daddy's arms feeling safe in them and wary of this new man. Nik realising who it was and wanting to ease his daughter's fears turned around to face the room, but remained sat in the corner with Lilijana as she tried to hide in his chest.

"No. No, it's okay little wolf." Nik soothed, running his fingers through her pale blonde hair. "This is my little brother Kol and he will not hurt you like the fat man did." Lilijana giggled wetly at that, bringing smiles to everyone's faces. "The lady with blonde hair is my little sister and Kol's younger twin sister, Rebekah. Kol is an Original Heretic meaning he is a vampire and a Wiccan wizard, while Rebekah is an Original Vampire like our two eldest brothers Finn and Elijah but they aren't here right now. Now these are my Hybrids. Like me they were born a werewolf but I turned them into vampires as well, to free them of the pain of turning after asking them. The short man with a moustache holding hands with the woman with dark brown hair and blue eyes, is Wong Lui and his wife Nadia Lui. Next we have Jane Simon and Sebastian Myers." Nik introduced, pointing to each Hybrid in turn.

"Hello little one." Wong greeted, standing from his seat but kneeling before it so as not to frighten the little one even more. "Perhaps you could teach me the Mystic Arts and we shall have fun together." Wong said kindly in his childlike glee which eased some of Lilijana's unease as she nodded cautiously.
"Here you go Lils, all fixed." Kol announced holding out the necklace he'd fixed with magic and the stuffed toy animals.
"Thank you Uncle Kol." Lilijana whispered, a soft smile directed to her uncle that so far was completely different to Uncle Vernon.
"Daddy?" She asked timidly as Nik put the necklace back on - nodding in thanks to Kol especially as his brother had added a multitude of protection spells to the necklace.

"What's the matter little wolf?" Nik asked, kissing the top of her head.
"I killed them. Didn't I? I didn't mean to! I swear!!!" Lilijana exclaimed frantically, getting upset.
"Sweetheart," Bekah whispered, crouching down beside Kol just in front of where Nik sat. "We know you didn't mean to and even if you did it wouldn't matter to us. We would love you beyond imagining and unconditionally for Always and Forever!"
"They were hurting me and wouldn't stop! I tried to get them to stop, I just grabbed the nearest thing and the next thing I know..." Lilijana sobbed, trailing off as she clutched her teddies close to her. Once again anger ate away at the insides of all in the room.

While goblins normally didn't care much for wizard kind, the Potters and Sirius Black had always been gracious to them and their traditions which caused Teahai to be overprotective of the little Heiress, while the vampires and the hybrids had trouble controlling their vampire features they longed to torture, to maim, to kill the evil people that had done such heinous crimes to this little girl who desires nothing more than to be loved.
"It's okay little wolf. You're safe now." Nik promised, kissing her head as he stood up, placing her on his hip as he strode purposefully towards the seat in front of Teahai's desk and placing his daughter in his lap.

"Teahai I want to know who placed my daughter with these animals and why Sirius didn't take his daughter and why Remus and Severus as her Godfathers didn't take her either!" Nik demanded. "And I'd like her to have an Inheritance test to check her over if you please."
"That is an easy answer," Teahai replied, waving her hand to create more chairs so everyone could have a seat.
"Dumbledore!!" Nik growled, his eyes turning into his Hybrid red and gold eyes as black veins appeared beneath his eyes.
"Yes." She nodded grimly.

"He blamed Sirius for the deaths of the late Lord and Lady Potter. Dumbledore had used the Imperius Curse on Lord Slytherin or as Dumbledore knew Tom Marvolo Riddle to kill Lord and Lady Potter; however, they had enacted Blood Protection Magicks to protect their daughter and Lord Slytherin fought the Imperius Curse only to have more applied. When the wand was turned on Heiress Lilijana the Curse rebounded back onto Lord Slytherin killing him. But we imagine it did not go as Dumbledore wished as we've heard he flew into a rage and had Lord Black imprisoned without a trial and on false charges, and tried to take over the accounts as Magical Guardian and have the Wills blocked and sealed. Of course he was denied on both fronts."

"Is there a way we can get him out? Prove he's innocent?" Rebekah asked, while Nik fumed in a silent rage so as not to scare Lilijana.
"But of course. With this." Teahai responded with a shark-like grin, holding up a copy of James and Lily's Wills. "I have already made a copy of these Wills along with drawing up a letter to Madam Bones the Head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement detailing the lack of trial and the miscarriage of justice dealt to my client and one of the fathers of my client, all I needed was to have your agreement and they could be sent."
"Send them. Please. Sirius doesn't deserve to rot there." Nik requested, Teahai nodded, pressing a button on her desk speaking Gobbledegook into what looked like a tannoy. A moment later another goblin entered the office after knocking on the door. Only this one was younger and male.

He bowed to Teahai and nodded to the clients in the office as he entered, before he took the letters and left as quickly as he came.
"Now, let's see what has happened to Heiress Lilijana." Teahai stated, pulling out a large sheath of parchment. "Normally this is done via three drops of blood but as she is so young and suffered more than enough the last five years I shall work around that with my magic and a strand of her hair. Young-one, may I have a strand of your hair please?" Teahai asked. Lilijana looked to her father who nodded, smiling reassuringly at her, so she acquiesced and pulled out a blonde strand. Thanking the little witch, Teahai placed it upon the parchment and spoke in Gobbledegook, those in the room watched fascinated as the strand of hair merged into the parchment slowly and where the bit of hair had once been, writing soon appeared in black cursive.

Everyone in the office sat stunned beyond belief not only was Lilijana an incredibly powerful witch - and that's without adding in the two types of witch, vampire and werewolf genes - but also was she THE richest young witch in the entirety of the Wizarding World. However, the stunned feeling soon turned to anger at the lengths this Headmaster was willing to go to to control Lilijana. Without Nik needing to request it Teahai placed a Cleansing Potion on the table along with a card keyed to the Vaults and Lilijana's blood, they had all been merged together the second Nik had entered the office and been reunited with Lilijana as per Lily and James's Wills.
"Drink this little wolf, it'll make you feel better." Nik promised coaxingly while Bekah picked up the card, slipping it into her purse and stood.

"Where's the best place to buy her some clothes, Teahai?" Rebekah asked, while Kol and Nik calmed and distracted Lilijana from the potion cleansing her system.
"Here are the directions and the best places." Teahai said, passing Bekah the information.
"We'll come with you, if you like?" Nadia and Jane asked Bekah.
"I'd like that." Bekah agreed, smiling. "Where should we meet you, Nik?" She asked her brother.
"Meet us back here, Bekah, then we'll take a Portkey to Potter manor."
"Brother, you can't be serious!" Kol exclaimed, already overprotective of his niece and interrupting Nik. "With what that Headmaster has done?"

"We're staying in Britain until Sirius is free then moving to New York. Wait," Nik's eyes suddenly widened dramatically as he pulled the parchment back towards him. Kol, who was pursuing it, spotted the same thing he did, the very thing that flew out of their minds when they had reached the end of the parchment the first time around.
"No boys!!" They exclaimed firmly.
"You finally noticed it then?" Rebekah asked, smirking. "You're both slacking dear brothers." She teased.
"No we had more important things to notice but now that they have been cleared from my sweet niece's system -"

"We can remember what else is on this test such as my sweet beloved daughter, my little wolf having not one, not two, but three soulmates!" Nik wailed, Lilijana was giggling in her father's lap as she followed the conversation with eyes.
"Well, you have no one to blame but yourself for that Nik." Bekah teased, relishing this moment with her brothers, her favourite brothers. Plus, Lilijana's giggles were adorable and just melted her heart.
"Mine? How is it my fault!?" Nik asked, alarmed, his eyes getting impossibly larger which caused the Hybrids to try and stifle their laughter.
"You are a werewolf AND a vampire are you not?" Bekah asked. "And werewolves have mates as well as vampires, do they not?" She added rhetorically.

"Damn it!" Nik groaned, only to groan in pain when Bekah slapped him around the head. "What was that for?"
"No swearing in front of my niece!" Bekah warned sternly. "That goes for all of you!" She added, pointing to Kol, Wong and Sebastian. "You'll tell Auntie Bekah if Daddy Nik, Uncle Kol, Wong and Seb say that again, won't you sweetie?" Bekah asked, causing Lilijana to giggle and smile at her auntie who was so much nicer to her than what Aunt Petunia had been.
"No corrupting my daughter!" Nik shot at Rebekah just as the door closed behind the three women. But he wasn't really mad. How could he be when his sister made his daughter laugh like that, causing the little girl to forget what had happened that day.

"I knew you'd come back for me, Daddy." Lilijana whispered as she snuggled against Nik's chest yawning.
"Of course I would, my little wolf. Always and Forever." Nik stated, kissing the top of her head.
"Always and Forever." Lilijana,
Kol and even Wong and Sebastian repeated.
"Try and sleep Ana. We'll wake you when the boring stuff is over." Kol 'whispered' conspiringly, kissing her forehead.
"Ana?" The little girl asked, head tilted to the side. "I like it." She added with a wide grin at her Uncle who hadn't hurt her, so far. She hoped it would last.

"Yep! It's your nickname." Kol proclaimed. "Now have a sleep." He added as he watched her fight sleep for a little while longer until she finally drifted off feeling safe in one of her Daddies' arms.
"We will protect her, Klaus." Wong insisted.
"Even if we have to kill all those who threaten her to do it!" Sebastian added.
"Now I see why you chose those four wolves, Nik!" Kol teased, nudging his brother with his elbow.

"If you wake her.." Nik growled warningly to his brother who never knew when to be quiet.
"Okay. Okay." Kol placated, his hands raised in surrender. "To business it is then." He proclaimed. For the next few hours while Bekah, Nadia and Jane shopped, Nik, Kol, Wong and Sebastian went over everything they possibly could trying to find as much evidence that could help Sirius and condemn too-many-names Dumbledore.
