Chapter Four, Healing

The next morning Sirius and Arcturus held true to their promise to Andromeda and got in contact with Narcissa:

My dearest Cissy,

I've missed my sweet older cousin and wish to start anew and make House Black strong once more. We may have dealt with the old fool but there are still those who follow him blindly (I thank Mother Magic that neither I, James, Lily or Remus were one of them).

That said, how would you feel about introducing your Draco and my brightest star, Lilijana? They are cousins and hopefully will, no I know they will be better than us. It helps that they won't have parents trying to control them.

I'm also writing to find out when you would next be free to treat grandfather Arcturus and myself. I know, shock, but we promised Andy and you know she would drag us - grandfather included - to you or another Healer to be healed.

Hope you, Draco and Lucius are well.

Reading over the letter a few times, Sirius nodded satisfactorily and sealed it, pressing the Lordship ring into the wax, before sending it off with Lolly. As it was still rather early, Sirius started going over the Potter and Peverell portfolios. Checking the investments and creating new ones (even in the Muggle World), checked on the correspondence for the Potter's Potions and any other correspondence that required his immediate attention. Which was a lot as no one had checked on anything for the last four years.

At around eight thirty he was joined by his grandfather and Nik who both helped him comb through all of the other portfolios that Lilijana was Heiress or Lady to. Between the three of them they got through it pretty quickly before Sirius and Arcturus finally finished off their work with the Black portfolio, investments and correspondences while Nik checked on the ones he created for House Mikaelson.

At the exact moment they closed the finished portfolios a loud pop was heard announcing the return of Lolly, who although lacking a letter had a large reassuring smile on her lips.
"Master Dadfoot, I's have a reply from Miss Cissa. She says yous, Master Arcturus and Potion Master Snape is to come to Malfoy manor immediately after breakfast so she can treat you both and to tell Master Snape what potions yous require.

Then once finished she, Heir and Lord Malfoy will accompany yous back here to meet Miss Lili and everyone else." Lolly explained.
"Thank you Lolly, we shall be down for breakfast momentarily." Arcturus nodded his head graciously. "Is my sweet granddaughter awake?"
"Yes sir. She is with her Auntie Bekah. Daisy is showing her how to style little Miss's hair fit for an Heiress."
"Bekah will love that." Nik announced, a happy smile on his lips. "She's always hated that she couldn't have children, that the ability to dress up a daughter was stolen from her by our mother."

"So this moment is just what they both need." Sirius muttered sadly, catching on to what Nik meant. "Those moments were stolen from our star by Dumbledore, and although she has two remaining fathers in us we cannot replace the bond of a mother. So Bekah, Nadia and Jane are the mother figures she needs."
"They are both very happy." Lolly agreed, nodding her head before she popped away to get everything ready for their guests. It was good to have so many people in the manor once again, and to see so many people caring and protective of her little Miss. She needs it and deserves it and so much more.

Once the trio were sure every piece of documents were put away safe and secure in the hidden safe behind the painting of the grounds, which had a multitude of protection and defensive wards on it, and no one not keyed to those wards would be able to access its contents, they headed down to the family dining room talking aimlessly about anything; just generally catching up.
"Morning." The three announced as they entered, spotting everyone but Bekah and Lilijana sat at the table. They were all talking amongst themselves as they waited for everyone to join them.

"Morning." Everyone greeted, smiling and welcoming. Not long after the trio had sat down sipping their chosen beverage, they heard the sound of little feet running towards them with the quick sound of click-clack of heels behind them.
"Daddy Nik! Daddy Siri!" Lilijana shouted, fear in her voice that had Nik and Sirius out of their seats and out of the room before you could blink.
"What happened?!" Nik demanded of his sister, keeping his anger in check.
"Nothing." Rebekah assured her brother as Lilijana ran into Nik's arms with Sirius joining the group hug.

Both kissing and hugging the little girl while whispering reassurances.
"She had a nightmare last night. She thought it was all a dream that we weren't with her and she was lost and alone. I found her already awake reading and looking incredibly tired with tears in her eyes and dried tears on her cheeks." Rebekah explained sadly.
"Oh my little star."
"Oh my little wolf."
Sirius and Nik crooned, rubbing their hands through her hair and up and down her spine.
"Her magic must have silenced her room." Sirius whispered quietly to the other two.

"Little wolf, next time you have a nightmare or you just need us or simply just want a cuddle you can come into mine or Daddy Sirius's bedroom no matter the time. Okay?"
"Really?" Lilijana asked unsurely, but hope could be seen in her expressive eyes.
"Of course Lili." Sirius reassured her with a kiss to the forehead. "After breakfast your grandfather, Uncle Sevy and I need to go to my cousin's house for a little bit so she can give us some medicine so we can feel better. But afterwards we will be back and you'll have a new cousin to meet. He won't be like Dudley. I promise, baby." Sirius explained soothingly when he saw the fear in her eyes which slowly ebbed away with his promise.

"Will you come back?" Lilijana asked fearfully.
"We will, baby. Everyone will always come back to you. I love you my little star. Always and Forever." Sirius promised lovingly.
"I love you too Daddy. Always and Forever." Lilijana smiled, kissing Sirius's cheek before looking up at Nik. "I love you too Daddy. Always and Forever. And I love you too Auntie Bekah. Always and Forever."

"I love you more little wolf. Always and Forever." Nik whispered, kissing Lilijana's hair.
"I love you more Lili." Bekah stated, a happy smile on her face. It would be a long road for all of them, but they will all get there eventually.

After breakfast Sirius, Arcturus and Severus used the Floo Network to Malfoy manor, after promising Lilijana they would be back, they were met by a rather excitable young male house-elf dressed in blue pants and white shirt with the Malfoy family crest.
"Welcome to Malfoy manor. Come, Dobby will show you to Mistress Cissy." The house-elf now known as Dobby greeted them, leading them to one of the parlours, almost bouncing with every step.

"Mistress Cissy, your guests Potion Master Snape, Lord Sirius Orion Black the third and your grandfather Master Arcturus Black." Dobby announced at the entrance to the parlour.
"Thank you Dobby." Narcissa said graciously. "Please could you go and check on Draco."
"Right away Mistress Cissy." Dobby agreed, popping away with a loud pop.
"Morning gentlemen." Narcissa greeted. "I want you, cousin and you, grandfather to sit down so I can run an in-depth diagnosis. I know a cure was found for you, grandfather but I want to know how I can treat you accordingly.

Severus, you're here in case a potion is needed that I do not possess." Narcissa conveyed, getting down to business as the three sat down before her.
"I found a cure in the Peverell Grimoire." Sirius confessed. "Plus, I had the help of Kol Mikaelson, the Original Heretic, and my daughter's uncle, who prescribed grandfather some herbal tonics that aided the spell and Monty's healing potions that Severus made. That reminds me," Sirius exclaimed, turning towards his best friend. "Severus, now that you're no longer working at Hogwarts, how would you feel about working at Potter's Potions?

Of course any potions you create there will be yours with the company receiving 20% percent of the proceeds should you decide to sell it through the company and not the Guild of Potions."
"That would be amazing! Thank you Sirius!" Severus beamed, delighted. "Plus, the Guild likes to extort anyone selling new potions."
"I'll draw up the contract once we both return to the manor, so you both will have a copy as well as a copy being delivered to the company and Gringotts." Arcturus declared, with no one contradicting him. He was the best with that after all.

"You have one excitable house-elf, Cissa." Severus commented now the potion business was over with.
"He is." Narcissa agreed, taking a dainty sip of her tea before she continued. "But he is exceptionally good with Draco, and we both adore him so Lucius puts up with his excitable nature." Narcissa laughed, getting a bark-like laugh from her cousin. "Now," she declared, all business-like, getting to her feet with her wand in hand. "Let's see what's going on now I know how you were healed."

With an elaborate wave of her wand over both Arcturus and Sirius, two sheets of parchment appeared on the coffee table before the two men. Each contained general information such as name, age, height and weight. But they also contained what was wrong with them, what had caused it (if applicable), and how to treat it with the treatment program listed. It was a spell of Narcissa's own making when she completed her Healing Masters which offered more in depth information than the general diagnostic spell.

"Okay Sirius, due to four years in that place and the damage done by repeated Dementor exposure has thankfully been treated successfully. However, you are malnourished so I'll prescribe you some Nutrient potions and Stomach Soothers to take before every meal. At least half an hour beforehand, for three months and we will go from there. I'll check on you again in a month's time." Narcissa smiled at her cousin passing over the potions she had set out beforehand and the prescription sheet over to Severus. 

"Now, grandfather, due to the spell cast upon you. You will need to be on the same potions as Sirius for perhaps a little longer, as well as Blood Replenishers to build up your iron and blood count, Nerve Regenerator and a Pain Potion... a level two I believe will be sufficient. However, should you need a higher dosage please tell me. Otherwise you should be fine in a few months once everything returns to an equilibrium." She ordered her grandfather, knowing how stubborn he could be as she passed over the potions and prescription.
"Don't worry Cissa, I'll make sure they take them." Severus smiled. Sirius and Arcturus couldn't help but groan knowing the man was enjoying this.

Just before lunch Sirius, Arcturus and Severus returned to Potter manor to Lilijana's delight as she looked up elated from where she was playing with her stuffed toys and a mini Hogwarts Express with her Daddy Nik and Uncle Kol. However, they weren't alone. Narcissa, Draco and Lucius had joined them which instantly made Lilijana all shy and nervous.

The three Malfoys - having been told what had happened to Lili (that was majorly censored for Draco; he was just told those she had lived with had hurt her), calmly walked to the little girl with smiles on their faces and either sat or crouched down before her. Draco, who had his stuffed green dragon in his hands (a toy no one was allowed to touch) offered it to Lilijana with a smile. He immediately felt very protective of her and wanted to be her friend, her sibling and prove not all cousins hurt each other.

"Hi! I'm Draco and this is my dragon Constellation. Do you want to hold him? He's very special as he always makes me feel safe, and when I'm scared I hug him. It's okay." Draco offered with a reassuring smile when he saw the hesitance in her eyes; which he loved.
"Thank you." Lilijana whispered softly, her shoulders relaxing the longer she hugged the toy as the comforting magic in it, her Daddy Siri's magic and Uncle Kol's magic washed over her. Reassuring her that she was safe. "I'm Lilijana, but you can call me Lili. If you'd like." Lilijana breathed, her smile slowly widening.

"Hi Lili." Draco beamed, waving frantically, succeeding in eliciting giggles from the little girl. "These are my Mum Narcissa and my Dad Lucius. Your aunt and uncle." Draco introduced happily.
"Hello little star, you are so gorgeous." Narcissa smiled at the young girl who smiled back shyly.
"Hello petite étoile." Lucius greeted, gently tucking a piece of blonde hair behind her ear. If it was a shade lighter she could pass as Draco's twin. "It means little star in French." Lucius explained upon noticing her intrigue but was too shy to ask. "It's where my family is originally from."

"Can...could you please teach me Uncle Lucius?" Lilijana asked eagerly but still hesitant with asking questions.
"Of course I can and I promise no one will ever treat you so horribly again." Lucius promised with a kiss to her forehead earning himself a blinding smile.
"Draco, would you like to play with me?" Lilijana asked hopefully, holding out her wolf and Grimm toy to him.
"Yes!" Draco cried excitedly, accepting the toys gently but almost falling over in his rush to move closer to play.

While Draco and Lilijana were happily playing, giggling away and oblivious to the talk that was going on over at the sofas (plus Sirius's altered Silencing Charm helped), the children didn't need to hear this. They had been discussing what to do with all of Dumbledore's sycophants when Lucius brought up an alarming and important observation. They could trust House Pucey as they had been Neutrals and would work with them to protect Lili but they couldn't be sure of the Weasleys intentions, or rather Molly's intentions, as she was a staunch Dumbledore supporter; whereas, Arthur was not.

"We will have to coax Arthur and the kids to go to Gringotts for checks regarding spells and potions as I don't trust Molly. I wouldn't have put it past her to use Amortentia on Arthur." Lucius explained anxiously.
"There had been a rumour of it when I was at Hogwarts." Narcissa reminded them.
"What do you suggest?" Sebastian asked, knowing from Nik, Sirius, Remus and Severus how dangerous a Dumbledore supporter was. Peter Pettigrew ring any bells?

"I suggest that Sirius sends him a letter via Lolly or Daisy." Narcissa pointed out. "It's not only for his and the children's safety but also due to the twins being two-thirds of her mates, then if they are to be with her -"
"Very, very, very far off in the future." Sirius, Nik and Kol interrupted. Remus and Severus just shared a look with Rebekah; the three rolling their eyes.
"Then they need to be free of all of the old fool's machinations." Narcissa finished as if she hadn't heard them.

"Okay." Sirius agreed, but as he went to ask an envelope, wax candles, a self-inking quill and a sheet of parchment appeared before Sirius on a lap table. "Thank you Lolly." With everyone talking around him, Sirius started his letter working it very carefully so as not to offend his friend but to convince him to go to Gringotts. Hopefully this worked.
