Another time on the back of their friend. And another moment of butterflies in Taehyung's stomach.

He was watching the wizard make dinner. It was quite a distance to fly to the next island in the sky so they had dinner in the cabin. And Jungkook, who wasn't a kitchen princess, had most of the time no idea what he was doing. Like now.

And somehow that's something that was attractive in Taehyung's eyes. He had been staring at the raven the whole time. Looking at his frowns, his head scratches and the mumbling, all the work that was being put into this food that he wanted to make for them.

He didn't want taehyung's help. He just said 'no no, you just sit. I got this'. So the prince sat down.

"It's probably not very good....I can only do desserts, sorry" Jungkook said and turned around with two plates with fried rice and beef slices.

"I'm sure it will taste fine. I will taste your effort"

"hopefully, i poured everything into this. You said you liked rice so....Yea" Jungkook felt nervous all of the sudden. He wanted to do something nice but he made it hard for himself by choosing something he isn't good at. He probably ruined it.

But he doesn't know exactly that for that thing Taehyung only liked him more..

"it tastes fine. Really, the meat is a little dry but the sauce covers it up. Don't worry, really, thank you "Taehyung smiled and continued eating. The rice was actually really nicely made.

"im glad, '' Jungkook smiled. There was a long silence where the two just ate. Enjoying the peace they had right now. A peace that Jungkook felt was nearing its end. So, with that feeling he decided to speak up.

"Taehyung, prince of Yuhan. I should confess something to you that has been sitting in my thoughts for a while now" The raven grabbed the folded paper napkin and wiped his mouth before taking a sip of his water. He pushed his finished plate to the side and folded his hands.

"of course, I'll listen" Taehyung smiled and chewed the last bite of his dinner while waiting for the other to talk.

"i have been feeling like this for a while now. I never wanted to fully acknowledge it as it felt wrong... But I also don't want to hide it. I am feeling more than normal partners towards you. And I don't mean to make this awkward or anything....But...I really do. And I don't need a reply, I don't need anything in return. I just need to tell you this before the chance will not be there anymore." Jungkook said and sighed. "i should move on like they said. And thara what i am doing. Acknowledging that I can feel something for someone else is step one, so....You don't have to say anything, we will just continue to desert" Jungkook finished his whole talk and stood up, taking the dirty plates with him. Not giving the prince a chance to speak up about this.

He already regretted saying this, he hoped to run away from any upcoming conversations about this. He should have just kept his mouth shut.

"Jungkook..." Taehyung said to the wizards back. The wizard who stopped moving and lowered his head.

You can't run from it so easily. Especially not when there is nowhere to run. Around them is all but air.

"i feel the same....But, i don't think i should be...Because..." Taehyung sighed. How could he properly say this? " I'm not like you, I don't come from this world....I am not....'him'. And I can't be 'him' for you..."

Jungkooks heart was unsure what to feel. But his head knew the words. Taehyung was right, he was not 'him'. And he never will be. But this was different.

"Tae, I am not feeling like this just because you strongly resemble him. But because of your ways. Your personality is so different. Your traits....You are your own person. Thats what made me feel, not just your appearance. I know you are not 'him', and I know he will never return. This is different."

"I see.... Then I think the feeling is mutual then" the prince chuckled nervously.

"Glad we are. Now I won't have to feel guilty about it."

The two smiled at each other in a bit of a nervous manner.

"Jungkook, I have been thinking about what you said....And you're right, I should be able to protect myself when needed. I want you to teach me how to use the knife"

"That's great to hear. I would be devastated if anything were to happen to you. And now you know exactly why too."

Taehyung chuckled with a blush.

"don't worry, I won't do anything funny. I am a gentleman." the wizard joked and bowed in a dramatic manner.

Shortly after that they arrived at the islands and descended from Zuzu to enter the city. A city on the verge of breaking apart. The ground was damaged. By what still remains a mystery for now.

"sooo, where do we go first?" Taehyung asked while walking closely next to the raven. The closeness feels less heavy now. It felt a lot more comfortable after they spoke about it.

"ITS HIM! Everyone, it's him!!" a man shouted pointing his finger at Jungkook. Right as the man said that everyone around them turned their heads and were shocked. They all quickly started to wall away in a hurry. They gathered their stuff leaving the streets empty and cold.

"That went....well '' Jungkook joked and they walked a few streets further before knocking on a door.

The door was opened by a lady who smiled. A smile that faded when she saw Jungkook. She was about to quickly shut the door in their face when the raven put hisbshoe between the door and pushed it open further.

"don't go missing, we just want to ask a few questions" Jungkook smiled. A kind smile with a pressured intention. "questions about me. Someone that looks like me passed through here? Hmm yes, where is he now? Where did he go?"

The lady looked scared. She looked at taehyung for help but he didnt help.

"You. D-don't hurt us. L-leave this place. Please....." the lady was shivering.

"just answer the question. The one that did this where did he go to hide. We are trying to find him"

"s-sir. You n-...You never left" the lady spoke. That was enough for Jungkook to turn around and walk back the lath they came.

"hey, wait up, again you just walk off"

"no time to lose. I need to see the rest of these memories inside of you." Jungkook said. We have to get back."

The two were walking fastly back to the entrance they entered from. People avoiding them like the plague....Well, they thought.

"There they are! Get him!" Suddenly, shouts were behind them.

"uhm Jungkook, we have a problem!" Taehyung said when he looked back and saw a group of armored knights run their way.

"Time to run it is then, hold my hand. We are going to make quite the amazing escape here today "Jungkook smirked and extended his hand to the other.
Who then placed his hand into Jungkook's and together they ran out of the city.

Chased by knights. A few knives were thrown at them and passed their heads.

The end of the island came into view. Luckily for them the city was built close to the edges and it gave them the perfect opportunity to escape the island. Because at the end taehyung began to panic.

"Kook! Slow down, the edge! Hey, stop stop stop! Let me go! Nooo no stoooop JUNGKOOK! Ah-"Taehyung closed his eyes when he was being pulled over the edge as the wizard jumped.

He thought they were going to be falling. But they didn't fall, not more than a meter or so before they hit soft grass.

Zuzu caught them.

"Thanks Zuzu, you deserve treats when we get back," Jungkook chuckled. But a soft worried voice caught his ear.

"uhm....Jungkook, i-is this bad?" Taehyung said softly. Holding his waist.

The raven quickly turned around and his eyes widened when he saw the fabric behind the prince's hand turn red.
Quickly he kneeled down and checked on the wound.

A knife cut through there and made a nasty cut. But it will heal.

Yet this was not something he took lightly. The wizard took a short sharp breath and walked to the edge of zuzu her shell raising his hand towards the island where the knights stood at the edge.

Taehyung, who was confused at first to why Jungkook didn't reply or said a word at all, looked at him while trying to bite away the pain.

He could see the expression get angry and Jungkook's hand tensed shakingly and slowly formed into a closed shape. Following his hand the island began to crack and small stone fell from its base. People started to scream and run around.

"Jungkook, stop! What are you doing!" taehyung shouted and grabbed Jungkook's hand trying to stop him. But the raven didnt listen.

The island started to crumble at the edges

"Jungkook, don't make me lose my trust..."

Jungkook heard him.... His hand loosened and he stopped, slowly sinking through his knees to sit down. Taking taehyung with him.

"i'm sorry..... I... I still can't control myself when i get emotional.....Its pa-....Hmm"

"i know, so I stopped you before you did something you will regret. If you do such a thing people will only see you as more guilty. And that's not what we want. Not what I want.

"you're kind for an outsider," the raven tried to joke. "im...Im sorry"

Taehyung just smiled before wincing in pain. "ow, this hurts"

"it will heal, don't fear. Let's get inside. We have to clean the cut before any infection can happen"

"okay...Okay, yes" the Prince nodded and let the raven help him to the bathroom without too much pain.
