“I'm begging you, don't, don't report me to the police. I'm innocent, trust me, please.” Taehyung begged, clasping his hands together.

His tears were unstoppable, hoping that Jungkook would believe in him.

“Hello, are you there? What's your emergency?”

He sobbed nervously while looking at Jungkook.

“I'm sorry, I thought I got robbed, I saw what I'm looking for. Goodbye.” Jungkook ended the call, poking his tongue in his inner cheeks.

Taehyung let out a breathy sigh in relief.

“Get up and leave my house.” Jungkook told Taehyung.

He turned around to leave, but he felt a tug on his jacket.

“I'm sorry, I can't do that.” Taehyung responded.

Jungkook glanced at him and saw Taehyung was already looking at him with still teary eyes.

“What do you mean you can't do that? You should feel lucky that I didn't report you to the police. I'm letting you leave my house now.” Jungkook retorted.

“I really can't do that, please understand me. This is my current safe place, I have nowhere to go. They are hunting me, they will kill me if they see me.” Taehyung explained.

“Who are they? If your life is in danger, why don't you go to the police and report it instead? They will help you.” Jungkook replied.

“You won't understand me, they won't help me at all. They are a danger too.” Taehyung stated.

“And what do you want me to do? Let you hide in my house? There's no way I will do that, you are going to put me in danger.” Jungkook argued with him.

“I know, I know that, but please let me just be here, just for a moment until I find out where my parents are. I will leave once I see them. Please, I'm begging you, I will pay you back.” Taehyung begged him.

“You're asking for too much, do you know that? It's not easy for me to do that if I have to sacrifice my life too.” Jungkook said, pushing his hair to the back due to his frustration.

“I will do anything you want, anything. You're my only hope, I owe you my life if you help me. Please.” Taehyung pleaded.

Jungkook curses, clenching his jaw before he spoke.

“Fine, I will let you stay here at my house. But make sure to leave once you already did what you wanted to do. Don't drag me into your mess.” Jungkook sighed, rolling his eyes.

Taehyung stood up from a kneeling position and hugged Jungkook, making Jungkook taken aback by his action.

“Thank you, thank you so much for understanding. I won't make you regret this, thank you.” Taehyung sobbed on Jungkook's shoulder.

“You can let me go now, you are squeezing the shit out of me.” Jungkook told him.

Taehyung pulled away and smiled at him.

“Thank you again, I promise to pay you back. Trust me.” Taehyung kept bowing his head to show how thankful he was.

“You can stop bowing now, you'll break your neck.”

Jungkook said before walking away from Taehyung, who felt relieved right now.
