Still and silent...

I stood there, I didn't realized Jake was gone.

I got out of trauma, following the tracks of Jake.

Finally, he's there. Wait, nooo!

I saw Jake, a big metallic robotic thing looming over him. The thing was giant, green energy was radiating off him, just like that girl.

It's claws bigger than a car, huge wings attached on his back, its bared razor-sharp teeth. It was a demon.

The monster unhinged it's claws...

It's claws pierced through my body as I closed the distance between him and Jake.

Atleast, I'm dying for a friend.

I fell hard to the ground, I heard Jake screaming, my vision blurred, I blacked out.

I was dead, but still it pained. Finally, I would be able to see my family, my mum, how much I missed her. My body was paining. Why? I'm dead, then why is it hurting?

Water... Water hit my face.

I slowly opened my eyes. My vision blurry, my body paining, my throat sore, I wasn't conscious enough.

I blacked out... Again

I woke up at the sound of water, shrill noises...

Opening my eyes, I felt fresh, like that incident never happened, no pain, no scars... Correction no holes in my body... No nothing.

It left me wondering, it was a peaceful place, silence besides the shrill sound of water and... Footsteps, yes you heard right, footsteps coming closer...

I stood up, defenseless I was. Realization drawn on me, Where was Jake?

"Oh look, she's conscious.", a girlish voice spoke, breaking the dead air.

'Yes, let's check her out.', it was a boy this time. I turned around, facing a beautiful girl and a quite handsome boy, both my age, looking gracefully at me.

The girl came near me, 'Who..o a..a..are you...uu?' 'I'm Jade.'

"Don't worry we are not gonna harm you. You are safe with us', the boy spoke up gently.

I backed up, my steps out of my control, Some kind of force dragging me towards it. "Aaargh, Help me.", I screamed. I looked down, green vines dragging me. I fell.

It dragged me into the bushes, but...I wasn't being dragged anymore. I was free.

I looked up, it was that boy, he, getting hold of the vines destroyed them in seconds. How?

"Are you okay?", the girl asked, her eyes showing signs of concern.

"Yes, I am okay. But..."

'I will explain.', the girl cut me off.

"We were walking together to our destination when we heard some loud noise, it was a scream. We ran to where the voice came from and found you lying there, a big hole in your body, blood dripping down like from a water hole.

"I ran to your side, picked you up while Alex found some medicinal leaves, we put that on that hole, you started healing, magically, even I was shocked.

"Two hours went by, you opened your eyes, I was so happy, but then you blacked out all over again. Now, it's been hours and now that you woke up, I'm so happy, we can be friends. So are you joining us? We're going to that mansion over there."

As if not obvious, they both were going there too. The girl hugged me tightly, Alex, as I was said that was his name, smiled at us.

Feeling relaxed, I let out a small chuckle. They both, looking at me smile. I smiled back.

Bang

How can I?

"Where is Jake?", I asked on tears. 'Where is he?'

'Who?', they both asked, completely confused. Realization drawn in me. The monster took Jake or maybe ki... No, that's not possible, that can't and isn't going to happen.

"Jake don't play with me, I know you are there, behind the bushes. Don't prank me. Come out.', I said with a smile, tears still streaming down my eyes.

"What are you talking about?", the girl asked concerned. 'Who is Jake?'

"You really don't know...don't play with me, I know he is with you. Now tell me where is he."

I looked at them expectantly, but their faces were reflecting confusion. They looked at each other still confused what was going on.

'Okay...', I took a deep breath, "So when you found me, you didn't see anyone around me?", I asked them.

'No.', the girl acknowledged me.

"Oh no...Where is he? I think that beast took him."

"What are you talking about?", Alex asked me.

I explained them what happened there.

"So you mean that boy, I mean Jake was abducted by that beast.", the girl asked.

I nodded.

"Oh...Don't worry, we will find him.", Jade said with sympathy, while Alex stayed silent. He was still there, expressionless, not a single word came from his mouth.

He stood up and left. Jade said he was just going to that pond over there. With that she stood up and said me to follow her.

So much, I missed Jake.

We were in the middle of the forest, Jade told me to come inside a...wall. She passed through the wall, I did the same and found myself on the top of the peak.

Stars shining bright in the sky, the moon brighter than ever, it was...It was...beautiful.

Jade sat down at the edge, her legs swinging in the air. I sat beside her.

'I miss him.', the words uttered from my mouth.

"Don't worry, we will find him, we'll leave tomorrow and find him. I will try my best to find him...", she assured. 'By the way, I am Jade.', she acknowledged.

'Elena'

"We'll find him, I promise.", she patted on my shoulder.

'I hope...'
