''heyyy mom''  Scarlett smiled but it was forced. Her mother just rolled her eyes. she wanted her to be mad afterall to share how reckless her ''daughter is. She didn't even care when she first adopted her. She thought she was some reckless child but she wanted to ''fix'' her. by making her this little controlled doll. She just mumbled and walked away from her. She bought it.

But it wasn't normal, it was getting closer and closer to midnight.  She saw the silver of her adoptive mothers  cape like thing. It was shining, almost impossible to miss. Scarlett knew something was up. She wasn't just sneaking away.  It was a private meeting; she didn't even dress up but had dark lipstick on her lips like she was hiding from something.

Scarlett felt her hands start to glow as she felt it. It was strange but it had some weird symbol that she couldn't recognize so she decided to confront her but that didn't work so she followed her.

Her mother was strange but she never knew she snuck away this early at night. She ran as fast as she could but she had to stay hidden ''hows the girl..?'' a cloaked figure asked her mother   '' she's fine but i dont think shes ready for this now.. Afterall, we are hiding her for that reason'' scarletts hands grew brighter as she heard those words but she weirdly felt sad.  she did secretly admire her mother but.. She's supposedly hiding her for a weird reason. Was she in danger?
