Chapter One, Ana Returns
Chapter One, Ana Returns
In the past year since Ana first contacted Tony after the battle they had been calling and texting regularly and even meeting to go for dates with Tony travelling to the United Kingdom to see and be with her, but now their time apart was finally over with Ana's Graduation from Cambridge University which Tony was excited to attend for a plethora of reasons; the main one seeing Ana, Teddy and Luna again. As well as Ana's Uncle Regulus and Aunt Andromeda who he got on rather well with.
"Tony?" his assistant Pepper Potts called, only to pause when she saw him dressed in a red Armani suit. "Where are you going?"
"I told you last week Pepper." Tony sighed. "I'm going to England for my girlfriend's University graduation."
"But what about the Board meeting?" Pepper protested.
"I cleared that also a week ago." Tony sighed.
"No. Obadiah scheduled one this morning —" She protested before Tony cut her off.
"Well it's not up to him! Jarvis, contact all of the Board members and let them know no meetings are to happen without my say-so from now on and especially when I'm not even going to be in the country. Any member, including Obadiah, who undermines me again will be stripped of their stock and rights to the company. Also increase my shares in the company until we're at least 50% but preferably 60%."
"Right away Sir." Jarvis agreed, quickly and efficiently carrying out the tasks given to him.
"Thanks J." Tony smiled, grateful to have his A.I, before turning to Pepper. "Now, if you don't mind Pepper, I have a plane to catch and you have time off while I'm away."
"She must be special as I can never get you out the door for your planes." Pepper commented, a note to her voice.
"Oh she is. I've known her since she was thirteen and I was sixteen. She's a Lady twice over from British Aristocracy, she became the CEO of her father's company in both England and here in America at fifteen when he was murdered, and at sixteen she ended the terror attacks in Britain. Now she's graduated from Cambridge University two years early at eighteen while raising her Godson who's two next year." Tony replied enthusiastically, completely enthralled with Ana and he couldn't wait to see her.
"Well, I look forward to meeting her." Pepper mused, watching her boss leave practically bouncing with his excitement.

Dressed impeccably, Tony felt like he was going to explode with excitement if he didn't see them soon, when he met up with Andromeda, Regulus, Luna and little Teddy in a cafeteria on the Cambridge campus an hour before the graduation was due to begin. Pulling his sunglasses off and stowed them in his breast pocket when little Teddy was the first to recognise him.
"'Ony!" Teddy exclaimed excitedly, his eyes lighting up in happiness as he clapped his hands.
"Hey little man, have you been good for your Mum and Grandma?" Tony asked happily, gently ruffling the soft chocolate brown hair.
"Ana will be so glad you made it." Luna said serenely, smiling brightly at Tony - who was so used to her eccentricity that he didn't bat an eyelid and only beamed in return. "How are you Tony?"
"I'm good Moon and how're you?" Tony asked, hugging Luna around the shoulders. There weren't many who he would willingly hug and could count those people on barely two hands (Rhodey, Stephen Strange, Carol Danvers and Hope Van Dyne: his friends from M.I.T, but they had lost Carol a few years ago. Then it used to be only Ana, her father Sirius and her Uncle Regulus; then Andromeda, Luna and Teddy were added to the mix. Unfortunately they had lost Sirius and Teddy's parents - who he hadn't gotten the chance to meet - (Teddy's mother being Andromeda's daughter), so it was no surprise he held the eight people close and tightly to his heart).
"Very well thank you. I'm not returning to our boarding school next year and will be taking our special exams at the Ministry in a month with Ana." Luna told him quietly, a knowing smile on her lips. "It was never the same without Ana there. She and Neville were the only friends I had and Neville is in a different House so couldn't keep certain people away from me, but I understand why she couldn't go back there the good no longer outweighed the bad." Despite the sad statement that elicited anger in not only Tony himself but also Regulus and Andromeda.
"I'm sorry you had to go through that Moon." Tony apologised, hugging around her shoulders once more before turning to Andromeda and kissing her knuckles briefly.
"How're you Andromeda, hope you've been keeping well? You look as gorgeous as ever but my heart belongs to my Ana." Tony winked playfully, bringing forth a laugh that was a mix of delight and sadness from the elder Blacks. He knew he had just reminded them of Sirius but he had wanted to remind them - and Ana - that there were still good memories beneath the bad.
"I'm doing well, you flatterer." Andromeda said as she swatted at him playfully. "Tired from this mischief maker, but what did I expect with not only a trouble-mischief making Auror for a Mother, a Marauder for a Father, Marauder 2.0 for a Mother/Godmother and Black blood. We do love our mischief and drama." She sighed, shaking her head.
"Now, now dear cousin you seem to forget I know all about yours and Ted's younger days despite you being the elder cousin. I seem to remember you, Sirius, Bel..." he paused, wincing over Bellatrix's name as anger consumed him before he took a breath, "...and I was always up to no good while Narcissa was the good Black." Regulus laughed.
"Oh shush." She snapped playfully at her only cousin left. "And Narcissa is as trouble-making as the rest of us believe you me." Andromeda laughed.
"Atta boy Teddy up to no good already." Tony teased playfully, crouching down to blow raspberries to his chubby cheeks eliciting laughter from the baby. "How're you Regulus?" He asked, shaking the man's hand as he finally took his seat and poured himself a black coffee from the set in the middle of the table.
"I'm well thank you Anthony." Regulus returned, a smirk lifting up the corners of his mouth at Tony's groan at the use of his full name. "Been getting everything ready for Ana with the business. Her friend from school Hannah Abbott will be covering the position in the British 'special' branch," Regulus empathised the word 'special' so Tony knew they were talking about magic, "after I ran extensive discussions and interviews with her and for the Mundane side I have my great-uncle Marius Black still covering that while he teaches his grandson Rigel Black the ropes."
"I understand that all too well." Tony sighed, hand running down his face, and he explained what had happened before he boarded his plane.
"You need to keep an extremely close eye on the Board and particularly this Obadiah Stane, Tony or have Jarvis do it. But something does not sit right with me." Andromeda explained cautiously, a frown maring her features and a dark look in her silver eyes.
"I will, I promise. It doesn't sit right with me either. It's why I had Jarvis increase my stock-hold despite owning the company and gave them all an ultimatum basically." Tony promised, just as they were all called to the main hall for the start of the Graduation. "Come on little man, it's time to see your Mummy!" Tony cried ecstatically, picking Teddy up and swinging him dramatically on to his hip.
"Yay!" Teddy cheered, clapping his hands happily as he couldn't wait to see his Mama.

Several hours later Ana was finally back with her family engulfed in many hugs as they celebrated her early graduation with honours as she was the first to graduate two years early.
"Oh congratulations darling, I'm so proud of you." Andromeda gushed the moment Ana had joined them, pulling her into a tight hug. "Sirius and your parents would be just as proud as Reggie and I."
"Thanks Andy." Ana said emotionally, hugging Andy back tightly.
"She's right, little Star." Regulus agreed, pulling Ana from his cousin's arms and into his own bestowing a kiss to her forehead.
"Mama." Teddy called, holding up a picture he'd made with 'Magic O's' the Wizarding version of penne pasta.
"You made this for me?" Ana asked, crouching in front of her son. "Oh thank you, baby, it's perfect." She praised, kissing his forehead after she carefully slipped the picture into her extendable purse, lifting him up onto her hip as she stood in a smooth motion. "I love you Teddy." She whispered, resting her cheek on his head as he laid it on her shoulder, both of their eyes closing in bliss. When she opened them she smiled at Luna who praised her in her own unique way, the two soul sisters hugging each other tightly before she came face to face with the last person; the man who held her heart in his hands the same as she held his: Tony Edward Stark.
"You came!" Ana beamed, her emerald silver eyes eliminating with delight.
"Of course I came, baby." Tony assured, pulling Ana into his arms, their foreheads resting against each other. "You should know by now there is nothing that I wouldn't do for you or Teddy now."
"I know." Ana assured in a whisper, her painted lips a breaths apart from Tony's. "But I also know you have your own company to run."
"That's nothing compared to being with you. We were parted by manipulative, power hungry and psychotic men, I won't let us be apart for that long again!" Tony muttered, leaving closer to Ana as he kissed her with all his might putting all of his love and devotion into the kiss along with the fear he'd held that he would lose her. Ana was in bliss as she finally kissed the man she loved, sure they'd had dates over the last year but they hadn't seen each other in a couple of months despite talking a lot on the phone.
Ana had made a phone in her third year, inspired my both her father's creation of the enchanted two-way mirrors, using a Stark-phone Tony had made, Ana had added runes to the inside of the back case which would allow the phones to be used in areas with high areas of condensed magic such as manors, Hogwarts (or any Wizarding school) and the Ministry. Tony had given her permission to sell the phones in her company and she had made him accept half of the profits, they were due to hit the markets on August 15th. They had created a deal so the Board of Stark Industries couldn't dispute it, half of the newest Stark-phones would be given to Ana to update for the magic users (not that they'd know that, they'll just know that Marauders Co. are updating them), and the other half Tony would sell in his company.
"Right pictures!" Regulus called, breaking Tony and Ana out of their moment and avoiding the slap Andromeda had aimed at him.
"Ana, do you want me to take Teddy?" Luna asked, looking at her nephew fast asleep on his mother's hip.
"No it's okay but thank you Luna. You can come join me though." Ana smiled, linking her free arm with Luna while Tony stood on her other side and Andromeda stood behind Luna and Regulus behind Ana for the photo that Professor Helena Arkwright had graciously offered to take. "Thank you Professor." Ana said gratefully.
"You're welcome Lady Potter-Black, it was a wonder to teach you and I know you will do well. Have a good evening." The elderly woman praised, before she excused herself to go and speak to her other graduates.
"Just our NEWTs to do now Luna." Ana sighed, gaining laughs from her loved ones. "But my brain feels like it's going to explode with overload."
"You're resting tonight and tomorrow, young lady, no arguments." Regulus stated firmly, giving his niece a knowing look. He knew how studious she was - she wasn't a Ravenclaw and top of her class for nothing - but he knew she often pushed herself past her limits trying everything to make her parents proud even though they were already extremely proud of her and all she had accomplished- and he told her so.
"Thanks Uncle Reggie." Ana whispered tearfully, hugging her Uncle tightly.
"Come on, let's head back to Potter Manor, you're coming with us Tony." Luna declared, knowing just what Tony had been about to ask.
"Are you sure?" Tony asked uncertainly.
"Of course. There's more than enough room." Ana insisted.
"And you'll be staying in the Guest Wing away from my niece's room." Regulus intoned in a calm but commanding voice, telling Tony without words that he was still overprotective of his niece and always would be; not that Tony could blame him with all Ana has gone through.
But Tony has been with her for five wonderful years and was ready to propose, he just needed Regulus' approval.
"Of course." Tony conceded, nodding his head, he didn't take the overprotectiveness to heart as it was just Regulus' way of warning Tony to treat her well and respect her boundaries in her families home which Tony would but he also liked the overprotection Regulus showed towards Ana, she deserved nothing but the best and that's what Tony strived for (like he knew that's what Ana also strived for him, for her son, her family and her parents) and which is why he has been putting more time and effort into the technology, medical and science side of his company.
He was making them larger than the weaponry side so that with time he could shut the weapons development down without causing his company to go under in the process.
"Hold on tight." Regulus told Tony, pulling him from his thoughts as they entered a disregard classroom. Once Tony was holding on to Regulus' arm they all Disapparated to Potter Manor. The start of their new life together was just beginning.
