So this is really short and is just what Abi begins to remember. The title is from a Panic! At the Disco song if you want to listen to it. This is also dedicated to my best friend priestlygfm. She has an amazing book of marvel oneshots I would recommend.

Chapter 11

Abi was stood listening to Steve plunge the plane into the ice. Peggy was crying but Abi lost it; she picked up a chair and threw it through the window. She pushed past the commandoes and Phillips and stormed out of the room. She grabbed her bag, weapons and grabbed one of the bikes. She got on and rode off as tears streamed down her face.

She went back to the ravine where Bucky had fallen. This time though she was in the bottom of the valley. She spent days tracking through the snow living off her rations she had in her bag. She no longer cared if she lived or died she just had to find him. She came across a trail of blood in the snow and followed it into the mountains. She got to what looked like a camp when she was hit over the back of the head and collapsed into the snow.

She woke up strapped to a table in a whitewashed room with one-way glass to one side. Zola leaned over her and stuck a needle into her neck injecting a blue liquid. She could hear Bucky screaming her name and yelling for them to let them back. Zola walked away and left the room. Another door in the corner opened and Bucky was shoved through. He immediately ran to her side, unstrapped her and lifted her into his arms before sinking to the ground. Her body was convulsing with the pain as he stroked her hair. She was crying with the pain and muttering his name.

There were tears rolling down his cheeks and his voice cracked as he spoke. "I've got you. I've got you. This is all my fault. They told me about Steve. Why'd you have to come looking for me, Abi."

He rambled as the pain coursing through her began to subside. That was when she noticed the arm. Cold metal had replaced where his left arm should be. He pulled her closer to him as Zola and two armed guards walked into the room.

Zola laughed slightly. "This is rather fitting don't you think Sergeant Barnes. The pair of you will become the new face of Hydra." Zola gestured to the guards to get them up. They pulled Abi away from Bucky and he tried to fight them but was still too groggy from whatever drug they had given him.

"Take me but let her go, please." Bucky begged as the guards dragged them both after Zola who walked down a corridor.

"I don't think you understand Sergeant. You soon won't remember each other." Zola laughed as the pair of them were put into the cryo-freeze chambers. Bucky screamed at Zola as the doors were shut and the machine turned on plunging them into a deep sleep.

They were moved quickly to Siberia. Here they were trained and their minds wiped. Abi tried to escape so Zola created a serum to inhibit her powers. They were sent on various kill missions together before Abi was sent deeper into Russia for the Black Widow programme. She helped turn the little girls into the best agents Russia and the KGB had ever had. After she had served her purpose there she was moved along with Bucky to another location. They learned of Zola's death and were once again put under Hydra control. This place was trying to replicate what Zola had done to Abi and use it on new subjects. Only a boy and a girl survived.

They were soon moved again. Their minds were wiped and they were both drugged. Along the way Abi crashed her truck and escaped to Stuttgart.

Abi woke up in a concrete looking building on a table that had been made into a make shift bed. Steve was sat by her side and smiled as he noticed her come around. She sat up and broke down in tears. Steve wrapped his sister in a hug and let her cry into his shoulder.

"I remember." She said with her voice cracking.

"Remember what?" Steve asked.

"Almost everything they did to me and him." She replied.

She filled Steve in on what she knew and he did the same. He told her that Maria had got them out of the strike car and into the bunker. He also told her that Fury was alive, Nat would be fine and that she had only been out for an hour.
