The leaves of a clover are said to each contain one thing. In the first three dwell integrity, hope, and love. The fourth leaf is known not only because it has tremendous power but gives luck to ever own it. And in the fifth leaf dwells the devil.

Asta's eyes we're shining as he pulled the magic sword out of the grimoire. Yuno had a proud smile plastered on his face.

"Like you wouldn't be chosen, Asta? There's no way. This is what you've always done, " Yuno said as a shadow of a devil arise behind Asta. "You have a way making the impossible, possible. Now, and back then." Then Yuno began to remember the biggest vow that the both of them made when they were younger.

Flashback 10 years earlier.

"W-wait!" Yuno called as he tried to catch up with his friend, but he tripped instead. Elisa and Asta rushed to him.

"Yuno, are you okay?!" Asta asked as tears filled Yuno's eyes."Come on, Yuno." Asta said and help him up. "Jeez, You're such a cry baby, Yuno. " Asta said.

"There nothing wrong with being a cry baby, Asta. Yuno are you hurt any where." Elisa ask worry is written on her face.

Yuno wiped his tears. And shook his head, Elisa sighed in relief in knowing he's okay.

"Don't worry Asta and I will always be here for you. " Elisa said, adorably and smiled.

"Come on, Sister is waiting for us. " Elisa said and grabbed both Asta's and Yuno's hands. The three children made it to the top of the hill where they had a picnic.

"It's good, but..... It's hard. " Yuno whined, and Elisa nodded in agreement.

"That's our sister Lily. You're such an
amazing cook! When I grow up, will you marry me and cook for me?" Asta asked.

"It was father who baked those, would you like to marry him?" Sister Lily question, Asta went pale. "No! How about you Elisa? Will you marry me?" Asta asked while leaning close to Elisa, causing her to blush.

"A-Asta, I cant." Elisa said and he threw a fit. "Marry me! Marry me! Marry me!" He yelled, and sister pulled out her grimoire causing Asta to keep quiet.

"Asta, it's not possible. Sister is, um... A woman of the cloth. And Elisa is too young." Yuno said

"I'm not done yet, Yuno! I won't give up until I'm an adult, no matter what! I will marry, Elisa and Sister Lily!" Asta yelled, and Yuno got a bit jealous. "You can't marry both of them!" Yuno yelled. "Why not?!" Asta yelled. "You can only have one, and you can't have Elisa because I'm going to marry her." Yuno said ah he blushed.

"And then the world was covered in deep, deep darkness. Just then the demon tried to destroy the world... "
Sister Lily read and Elisa listened carefully,to the story she curious about the demon.

"He's not gonna get away with that!" Asta growled, and sister lily turned the page. "... A very brave mage suddenly appeared. And fought the demon, the brave mage fought the demon bravely to bring back the dawn to the world. And after a long fight he finally defeated the demon. The mage light shine ever so brightly upon the world. The long, long night finally came to an end. This was the dawn of our world." She continued to read and Elisa smiled.

"Yes!" Asta cheered.

"And so, the mage was dubbed the Wizard king and became a legend. " Sister Lily finished the book.

"The Wizard King?" Yuno muttered.

"Amazing....he must have been really strong." Elisa muttered while staring at the story book in awe.

"The Wizard King still exist, right" Asta asked.

"Yes, the title of Wizard King has been passed down through many generations. All along, they've been protecting us with their magic. It is because of the Wizard king that clover kingdom is so peaceful." Sister Lily explained.

"That's awesome!" Asta cheered.

"Is the Wizard king really important?" Yuno asked.

"He's the most important after the king." Lily said.

"Okay, I've made up my mind!" Asta announced.

"About what, Asta?" Sister Lily asked.

"I'm....gonna be the Wizard King!" Asta said, shocking the others around him. "Sister?" Asta called.

"I'm sorry. I just wasn't expecting that. What brought this on?" Sister Lily asked.

"Well, he defeated the demon, right? That means he's super strong! And that's so cool! I wanna be cool too! And...if I become important....if I become the Wizard King, I'll be able to make everyone happier, right? You'll be able to make nice clothes and eat all the good food you want. I'm gonna make this crappy little church huge and amazing!" Asta said, and Elisa smiled fondly.

'I'm sure he'll be great someday. I know it.' She thought and clutched my bracelet. "I'll be cheering for you Asta, all the way to the end," Elisa said with a big smile, and Asta smiled at her in return.

Soon December came, and it started to get colder. Asta was out with Sister Lily trying to use magic when Elisa heard Baby Nash crying so She went and see what's wrong. Elisa then noticed that Yuno is carrying Baby Nash and trying to calm him down from crying but to no avail. Then Yuno started to tear up too.

"Don't you start crying too, Yuno. " Recca said.

"Nash.....wont stop crying...." Yuno said.

"Yuno! Leave it to me!" Asta said, appearing out of nowhere.

"Asta..." Yuno muttered, and Asta took Nash.

"I'm going to be a Wizard King, after all. Making a baby or two stop crying is a piece of cake. H-Hey! There, there, there!" Asta shouted while rocking Nash to hard.

"A-Asta!" Elisa said and stopped him. "Not like that." She continued and took Nash. Elisa rock Nash gently and sung him a lullaby to put him to sleep.

(A/N:this what Elisa sang to Baby Nash as a lullaby it's quite fitting if I say so my self.)

Nash calmed down and slowly closed his eyes, Elisa look at Nash fondly.

"Wow, Elisa, where did you hear that song?" Asta asked.

"Oh I made it myself, but for the sentence I read in a book and I made a tune. Fitting it." Elisa said and explained and handed Nash to Sister Lily.

Father Orsi flew down to the church I need of a favor from one of the youngsters. Asta was the one to volunteer, but Father Orsi didn't want the letter to the village chief lost. He thought about asking Elisa but he needed her here to make sure Asta doesn't do anything too drastic while he's gone. So he asked Yuno to deliver it, much to Asta dismay. Asta told Yuno that he could go and take his place. Yuno wanted to take responsibility and said he'd take it. Elisa got worried about her friend and offered to go with him but father Orsi told Elisa she should stay and help sister Lily with chores and preparing dinner.

Yuno arrived at a bad time though. He got distracted for a slight second before he remembered that he had to deliver the letter. He held it close to his chest as he ran down the village. He tripped and landed next to a tavern just as the barkeeper threw a drunk man out.

"I should be more careful," Yuno mumbled to himself as the drunk man caught sight of his necklace. "The snow's really piling up." Then he continued on his mission. Not noticing the evil grin on the drunk's man face.

"Great, thank you very much," the village said after Yuno delivered the letter and explained why father Orsi couldn't be there. "You can tell the priest that you successfully delivered his message."

"Yes, sir. I should be heading back now," Yuno politely said before he turned and started running.

"It's getting late. Be careful Out there in the dark, son."

"I will be. Thank you, sir." Yuno continued his run, it wasn't that long until he turned the corner and almost bumped into the drunk man from earlier. "Im, uh....I'm sorry."

Meanwhile, at Have, Asta, Elisa, Sister Lily, and Recca were waiting for Yuno's arrival so they could have their dinner Elisa is getting worried and felt that something was wrong. While Asta looking into the flame of the candle.

"It's late. I wonder where Yuno is," Sister Lily said as he held baby Nash in her arms.

"I'm starving to death, here," Asta said as he's stomach growled in hunger.

Elisa had a worried look on her face. "What's taking him long?" she wondered.

"Father hasn't returned from the other village, either," Sister Lily added.

"Why can't we just eat without them?"
Asta asked.

Elisa looked at Asta. "It's considered rude to eat without them." She said as the feeling of uneasiness grow strong.

Yuno let out a grunt as the man punched him in the stomach. He knelt down and grabbed it as the man laughed at his face as he held up Yuno's necklace.

"Give that back to me. It's mine!" Yuno cried.

"Not anymore," the drunk man said. "I'll get a nice chunk of money for this."

Yuno reached out. "Give me back my-"

"Shut up!" the man shouted as he kicked Yuno on the stomach. Yuno went flying back. "Respect your Elders, you brat. Filth like you doesn't deserve something as fine as this."

"Just give...... It back," Yuno whispered. He weakly got up. He held his hand up and conjured a small tornado. "It's mine. Give it back."

The guy just laughed at him. "You've gotta be kidding me! Am I supposed to be intimidated by the puny brat and his puny spell? You fight me with that and you die." The man threatens

Yuno couldn't help but agree with the man. The guy was bigger than him and he's just a kid. If he did fight the guy, he would be dead. Yuno closed his eyes as he continued to cry more.

"Yuno!" he heard someone call his name.

Yuno opened his eyes as Asta charged at the man and grabbed him. The man backhanded him, making Asta go flying back. "Give it back that belongs to Yuno."

And Asta charges again toward the man. "Yuno!" Someone calls in a gentle voice. Yuno turned toward the voice and saw Elisa panting.

Elisa saw Yuno conditions and quickly ran to him. "Does it hurt Yuno what did he do to you."

Suddenly Asta was sent flying next to Elisa. She was horrified what's happening why did the man attacked Yuno. She turned toward the man and saw Yuno necklace on the man's hand.

"Mister could you please return the Necklace that belongs to my friend." Elisa ask calmly. "Tch! You brats don't deserve it. " the drunk man said.

Elisa suddenly looked at the man coldly in the eyes. Her mana slightly spike. Scaring the drunk man . "Fine, you can have it back! " The man says and throws it. Elisa runs and picked it up. Yuno goes to Asta to see if he's okay.

Elisa quickly ran towards where Asta was lying "Asta are you okay." Elisa asked in worry. She then gave Yuno his necklace back.

"This is noting, I'm gonna be the Wizard King. I'm gonna be the Wizard King and protect you, Yuno and everyone else. I'm gonna make everyone even happier! And we can have even nicer things. And then, I'm gonna prove to everyone..." Asta said.

"Prove?" Yuno asked

"That even if you're poor.....or an orphan... you can still become the Wizard King." Asta continued.

"We can?" Yuno asked.

"Yeah." Asta said and smiled.

"Can we really?" Yuno asked again.

"Anyone can...if they worked hard enough." Asta said.

"Anyone?" Yuno asked.

"Yeah! Me, or even you, Yuno!" Asta exclaimed and Yuno rubbed his eyes.

"I'll......never cry again. Maybe....no..." Yuno muttered.

"Yuno?" Asta called as Yuno stood up.

"I will....ill become the Wizard King, too!I'll get stronger, and protect you, Elisa and everyone else. I'm gonna make everyone happier." Yuno said with determination.

"So you're gonna become the Wizard King, too? Then....that makes us rivals."
Asta said, and they both smiled. Elisa looked at them fondly with a gentle smile on her lips.

"We have to promise to protect Elisa with our lives." Yuno said.

"Yeah she's a princess and were her knights." Asta said. Elisa looked at them shocked, her shocked face didn't last and turned into a smiled. While Yuno a d Asta fist bump. Elisa stood up. " come on you too Everyone is worried. And Asta I think Sister lily can help heal you up. " She said, and they walked back towards the church.

'That night a promise was made that will forever changed their life.'
