The next day started with the sun's great rays waking me up. 

I groan a bit as the feeling of my brother's warmth is no longer there. That wakes me up, and I shoot open my eyes, seeing that my brother is not there. I start to grow anxious and flare my nares to scent him. I soon find him in the den, mingled with my father and mother. 

I say as I relax once again. But then the thought of those two raptors crosses my mind, and I stand shaking the sleepiness out of my body and spread my wings to stretch them too. I look out the open stone window my father installed for me some moons ago. It was a bit cold and dark here, with no sun getting to slip her rays across the stone, so I thought it would be better that way. But, of course, I love the sun, too, which is a plus. 

I make my way out of my sleeping den and head over to the feeding cave where some dragons from teh tribe are already. a male with brown scales and ember undertones is eating a fish, while a female with bleach-white wings and a colored body is eating a freshly caught bear, probably from one of our hunters, I think as I make my way over to the bowl with fish were the male dragon are. 

He gives me a crooked smile as the fish's tail hangs still out of the corner of his mouth. 

Hello Qevre, I say in the mind link that the whole tribe has. Never smiles again and greets me, too; hello, Dazyn, how are you? I purr and brush my wing against his shoulder, smirking at how it makes him shiver visibly. Well, I am fine. Thank you for asking. I was thinking about heading out to the forest today. I say someone is waiting for me over there, sounding a bit supisoc, I know. But, it never gives me a strange questioning look. I know that strangers aren't allowed here in the realm. 

That mistake we've once made, and it cost us much. Lives, homes, and much more. So it doesn't surprise me when he asks, are you seeing someone new? I stumble a bit. Okay, that question I did not expect. I give him an embarrassing glare and rattle my spine spikes; what are you talking about?! No, I'm not! I hiss at him through the mind link, being careful to send too much angry energy to alert the whole tribe. I do not want to get scolded by my mother for tath again. 

Never laugh, his laughter filling my mind and filling me with warmth. Relax Dazyn! I was only joking. I know you have eyes for Ydrinoid anyway, his teasing tone doesn't go unnoticed, and I sigh, not in teh mood to play that game. 

I make my way to the cave entrance and slip out without another word cutting the link in the meantime, leaving Qevre alone, shaking his head; if you only knew Dazyn that Ydrinoid likes you too, he thought and continued to munch on the fresh fish.

"I hope you guys will get to stay here," you rumbled to Blue and Ripper as the 3 of you sat in a clearing in the great forest of Dreams, the sun's rays on your backs.

Birds fluttered in the sky, singing htier sweet melodies and comping the land animals that were walking around the clearing, not minding that three fantastic beasts were perched there. as long you guys weren't hunting, you wouldn't hurt them. "we do too, but it is alright if we do not" Blue assured you placing a talon on your own. 

You gave the gray raptor a tired smile and flicked your tail close to Ripper, who was on your other side. He intervened his sable extension with yours, not minding the closeness. You felt a rush of warmth spread through your scales but fought it back and tapped the gourd with your index claw, making lines of upturned dark soil. 

"yeah, Blue is right. I am sorry if I came off harsh. I was tired and hungry and we had... Blue and I have gone through much in the wastelands of the humans, and I would not like to go through that torture here again," Ripper said, his red eyes filled with sadness, and you felt your heart clench for him. You wrapped a wing over him, holding him tight. "I promise you," you started locking your (e/c) eyes with his hoping that he saw the sincerity in your gaze, "that you will never be treated like that here in the Kingdom of Dreams."

It seemed to soothe the raptor's heart, and he smiled at you. Blue did too and pressed his silvery snout against your neck, making you yelp at the sudden imitate contact. he then started to purr, rubbing his nose against your throat. Ripper smirked as he, too, began to show his gratitude through tohciung. 

It was usual in the world of animals, but you weren't that fond of touching, but it was alright with your family and friends. And Ripper and Blue had gotten into your hearthstone pretty fast despite your differences. 

You sighed and relaxed soon, knowing they wouldn't hurt you, not that they could even if they tried. Well, not physically. 

"I'm glad you let us in, Dazyn," Blue suddenly said, moving his snout away from your neck and throat and giving you a thankful smile. Ripper soon flowed, and the two curled up with you, and you smiled fondly at the two of your friends, wrapping your wings over them in protective security, and looked up to the moon seeing the face of Nytyrth looking at me shining with greatness. 

"my child," she said, smiling and her glowing eyes sowing kindness. the earth turned bright at her presence, and I was speechless. None of my two strange companions noticed her. I had heard tales of our goddess's greatness but never once seen it for myself, so it wasn't weird that I was shocked. "you have done a great deed by taking Ripper and Blue in," she continued, her voice honeyed over by proudness "but expect resistance, my child, for the path to greatness isn't always the easiest." 

And with a flick of her glowing wing, I felt something land on my head, and I bit back a yelp. Excellent substance touched my forehead, and I whirled my eyes skywards to see what kind of incredible thing I had gotten to know. Nytyrth saw this and smiled at me before starting to back away "you have gotten a circlet to show your kind that the Eternal One is with them every step of the way," She vanished like a fragrant of a swooned time.
