"We have to go after them! Ruka could end up getting hurt! Isn't there a way to find her!?" Naruto shouts at Kakashi. 

"Even if there was a way, we will be outnumbered. . . Don't worry. We will find Ruka. Tobi won't hurt her. As he said, he wouldn't hurt her because he still needs her." Kakashi tries to calm the situation and Naruto. 

"She was scared when that guy took her way! If anything happens to her, I swear I'm gonna-" 

"Naruto, calm down. She will be fine." Sakura places her hand on Naruto's shoulder. "She's strong. She can take her of herself. All we can do for now is try to look for Sasuke. If we find Sasuke, we find Ruka, okay?" 

"All right. . ." Naruto looks down while frowning. 'Ruka, hang in there. We're coming. . .' He thought, worried out of his mind. 

As for Ruka, she traveled with Team Taka to collect the 8 tails. Sasuke was holding her hand tightly, so that she wouldn't run away, as Ruka's hair covered her eyes. She hasn't said a word ever since they left the hideout. 

"She's terrified. . ." Jugo whispers, allowing Suigetsu to hear.

"What? How can you tell?" Suigetsu questions. 

"She hasn't said a word since we left the hideout and there are markings on her body. Look at her neck. There's a bruise." Jugo narrows his eyes on the small bruise on Ruka's neck. 

"W-Wait! You're telling me that Sasuke abused Ruka!?" Suigetsu whispers in a panic. 

"No. If Sasuke hit her, she would have been crying or at least scared of Sasuke. But she isn't. There's something else going on." Jugo noticed the intense vibe coming from Ruka, but he couldn't explain it. Suigetsu couldn't understand it. As for Karin, she didn't mention a thing about it. 

After a long while of walking, Ruka stops and tries to take her hand back from Sasuke, but it was more like a signal. Sasuke turned to her as she said, and pointed, "He is in there. . ." She was pointing at the small temple just above a flight of stairs. 

"Good work." Sasuke nods his head as Killer Bee walks out of his temple while rapping about the time of day and what he decided to have for lunch. He stops his movements when he sees Team Taka in front of him. 

"Are you the Jinchuriki, host of the 8 tails?" Sasuke questions him. 

"That's Lord 8 tails, sir, to you." Killer Bee replies with a glare. "You say, are you Lord Jinchuriki, Sir, you got it?!" He points to Sasuke. 

"I'm here to capture you." 

"No way." Killer Bee replies as he raps. 

"Suigetsu, you take the right. Jugo, the left. Karin, behind me. And as for you, Ruka, you stay beside me. Understand." 

"Mm. . ." Ruka nodded with a frown. 

Suigetsu begins to attack first by using his sword, and smashing it down on Killer Bee. He blocks it as if it was nothing, but does make a hole in the ground. 

"We're not suppose to kill the Jinchuriki. Do you remember what the Akatsuki told us, Suigetsu?" Jugo reminds Suigetsu as he made his attack. 

"Don't worry. I feel his chakra loud and clear." Karin replies. 

Killer Bee swings Suigetsu's sword in the air and it lands next to him. "Step back, Suigetsu." Jugo tells his teammate and Suigetsu did what he was told. 

Killer Bee grabs Suigetsu's sword and raps once more before Jugo runs at him, ready to fight. Killer Bee takes the sword and places the whole part of the blade around his neck and spins it around, hitting Jugo in the process. 

But Jugo stands on his feet and channels part of his curse mark to his arm. However, Killer Bee strikes Jugo in the stomach so hard that he coughs up blood, making him fall to the ground. 

"My powers are flash and there's more in my stash! The 8 tails, that'll be me, the rapping Killer Bee! Yeah!" Killer Bee poses with a smirk. 

"What's up with this guy? He's crazy and he managed to take down Jugo!" Karin said. 

"Dakara sore wa dōdesu ka. . . {So that is how it is. . .} Ruka grabs Sasuke's attention. "From the way he moves, he has a talent for swords. . . There are more on his back. . . We will not be able to get to him if we keep using direct attacks. . ." Ruka says this as vines reach out from her body and slowly wrap around Jugo, then bringing back to the group. "Are you alright, Jugo? . . ." 

"Yeah. . ." Jugo replies, extracting his curse mark. 

"I'll handle this." Sasuke steps forward, then walking over to Killer Bee. 

"And who are you? You fool!" Killer Bee spats. 

"Shut up already! You're getting on my nerves!" Suigetsu shouts at him. "Why do we have to fight a guy like this anyway?!" 

"To gain power. If you don't like it, leave." Sasuke glares. 

'Hmph. That's your prerogative.' Suigetsu thinks. 

Ruka watches the team bicker a bit as a memory comes back to her. The memory of when her, Naruto, Sakura, and Sasuke were a team, and when they were younger. 'This brings back memories. . . But, they are dead now. . .' Ruka sinks her head in her shoulders as her hair shades her eyes even more. 'I know what I have to do. . .'

Sasuke attacks Killer Bee with his katana. Killer Bee reacts by using Suigetsu's sword to deflect the attack by spinning around. Sasuke jumps in the air and drives his katana into the hole of the executioner's blade, then kicking Killer Bee in the chest. 

Killer Bee drops the sword and takes out his notebook, wrapping in a new rap he just came up with. While he was doing that, Sasuke threw the executioner's blade back to Suigetsu. 

After putting his notebook away, Killer Bee throws out about a dozen swords and gets in a stance before attacking Sasuke again. With Killer Bee's movements, Sasuke can't react in time to strike. He can only dodge the blades. 

Even if Sasuke uses his chidori, it still wouldn't help. With this distraction of Sasuke's, trying to strike Killer Bee with his chidori through his katana, Killer Bee impales Sasuke with his swords, sending him flying back to the group. 

"I'll fly like a butterfly and sting you like a Killer Bee! That is what they call me! You fool!" Killer Bee smirks as he attacked. "And with my flow with a killer blow!" Killer Bee is about to strike again, but his body freezes up when he hears a soft voice.

"Ruka. . . ?" Sasuke grunts as he looks at Ruka. The blades impaled in his body were slowly being drawn out and the cuts began to heal. As for Killer Bee, his chakra was being taken away from him because of this song. 

Ruka's song can take and build up chakra on the those she wants to be healed or weakened."Now's our chance! Let's get this guy!" Suigetsu shouts and charges at Killer Bee.

Killer Bee was being defeated by Suigetsu, Jugo, and Sasuke, because his chakra was draining by the moment, and every movement he made. He couldn't keep up. 'I have to take out that girl there first!' Killer Bee thought as he had eyes on Ruka. 

After avoiding Jugo's attack, he slipped past him, Suigetsu, and Sasuke, and went for Ruka. 

"Someone calling you~
Someone-" Ruka's eyes widened and stopped her singing when felt 3 blades being thrusted into her chest. She slowly looked at her chest area to see swords impaling her right through her chest while Killer Bee is in front of her as she coughed up blood. 

"Gotcha!" Killer Bee smirks. 

"RUKA!!!" Sasuke shouted and sprinted over. He swung his katana at Killer Bee, but Killer Bee moved out of the way. As Killer Bee fled and hid, Ruka fell to the ground as blood seeped out of her wounds. "Karin! Stay with Ruka!" Sasuke ordered and went after Killer Bee. 

Karin ran over to Ruka and rolled up her sleeve. "Here, bite me! Hurry up, Ruka!" Karin brought her arm to Ruka's lips. "Ruka?!" Karin leaned down to se if Ruka was still breathing. Her eyes widened when she couldn't feel her breath or hear a heartbeat. 'Oh, no. . . !' 

Meanwhile, in Ruka's thoughts, while she was conscious, 'This red liquid. . . It is. . .my blood. . . Such a dark color. . . Just like before. . .' She thought, thinking back to when she was captured by bandits when she was younger. 'Just like before. . . !' Her eyes glowed red.

"Wh-What's going?! Ruka?!" Karin stepped back when she saw Ruka's fair skin  and red hair was turning into a shade of green. Vines and thorns wrapped around her body, changing her clothing and appearance. 

Killer Bee released the 8 tails chakra and went to attack Sasuke, but he uses his sharingan to put Killer Bee under a genjutsu. After using the eye technique, Sasuke grunts and holds his eye. The moment he turned around to look at Killer Bee, Killer Bee was about to strike him, but a large wooden wall came in between them. 

"Wood style. . . ? Ruka!" Sasuke looks at Ruka, but his eyes widen when he sees a while different person standing next to Karin. A girl with green skin, green hair, but the same red eyes. It was still Ruka, but a more evolved and ruthless Ruka. . . "Ruka. . ." Sasuke whispered out. 

The evolved Ruka slowly walks pass Sasuke and over to Killer Bee. Ruka did not a word as she slowly walked towards the enemy. "Still alive, I see. You won't be for long when you mess with Killer Bee! Wee!" Killer Bee transformed into the 8 tails and charged at Ruka. 

"He's going to crush her!" Suigetsu sprints over, but at the same time, giant roots sprawl out from underground, tangling Killer Bee in the process. "What is that?! Roots!?" 

"Think you have the advantage over me! Killer Bee?! You're wrong! You fool!" Killer Bee charges at Ruka, breaking through the roots. "I won't let you get away!" He formed a chakra ball and fired it at Sasuke, Jugo, Suigetsu, and Karin, but nothing it them. 

Ruka had  stopped it just by putting her hand out in front of her, stopping the chakra ball from hitting the group. She slowly looked up at Killer Bee and threw the chakra ball back at him. 

'She somehow controlled it and deflected it back towards me! I didn't think she would be this strong. She was hiding this kind of power this whole time.' Killer Bee thought when he got hit with his own technique. 

The Maiden slowly lifted up her hand, as if she were holding something within her palm, as she said, "Let the red rose of blood bloom forth." Her eyes glowed and thorns sprawled out of her body. 

Killer Bee had no time to react since they were so many vines, roots, and thorns coming at him all at once. Also, they were strangling him. 

Because of the thorns, they cut him deeply, and because of the roots, they held him down with such force. Killer Bee couldn't keep up. "Smothering Binding." Ruka called out and used her other hand to have wood wrap around the 8 tails tightly enough to strangle him to death. "Spike Ring." The wood forms a ring aroudn the 8 tails neck and spikes form, impaling his throat, but not enough to kill him. 

Killer Bee screams in agony and struggles against the wood style hold. 

"Anata wa horobiru. Anata o kurushima semasu! {You will perish. I will make you suffer!} Ruka's voice was laced with venom as she said this. 

"She's going to kill him! We can't kill the Jinchuriki! We have to stop her!" Jugo informed the group. 

"I know!" Sasuke glared at Ruka and used the Amaterasu on Ruka. Black flames appeared on her back, causing her to cry out in pain and stop what she was doing to Killer Bee, causing him to shift back to his human form, because Ruka had suck the chakra right out of him when the Green had touched him. 

Almost like what she did to the soldiers back in the Hidden Grass Village. 

"That's enough, Ruka! He's down!" Sasuke shouted at Ruka. 

Ruka slowly turned to face them with an emotionless expression. There was no telling what Ruka was thinking about as she stared at the team. Because this was a new, and hostile form, she didn't know them. Everything was new to her. But, she does remember saving them from Killer Bee. 

Yet, she was speechless. 

After a long while of silence, Ruka turned around and roots from beneath her lifted her away from the area. "Ruka, wait!" Sasuke shouted after her but grunted because of the pain in his right eye. 'I can't let her get away, but I don't have enough chakra. . . Dammit!' He thought with rage. 

"So much power. . . That was really Ruka just now?" Karin said with disbelief. Ruka saved them, but fled, seeing how she had no clue who they were to her. In her evolved form, she didn't like humans because of the abuse she went through. 

So, the only question that remains is,

Where will Ruka go now?
