"Gah! . . .Ah! . . .Hah!!" Ruka cries out in agony with each stab wound that Doto gives her. First, he slashes diagonally across her chest. Then, stabs her shoulders twice. And finally, stabbing and cutting her arms as blood trickles down to her feet. Her whimpers echo throughout the room with tears stream down her cheeks. 'Tasukete. . .Dareka. . .Mama. . .Onegai' (Help me. . .Anybody. . .Mother. . .Please.) 

Ruka thinks as she continues to cry. "You really are a fighter, Willow Maiden. You have bear this pain for so long. But I can feel you at the verge of losing control any moment now!" Doto smirks wickedly and slashes Ruka's stomach across. 

Because of this pain, Ruka gasps out loudly as more blood splatters onto the floor. Her eyes become dull as her head hangs down. Her eyesight is blurry, but she can still see the blood. Right now, her mind runs wildly as it repeats, 

'Blood. Blood. It is my blood. . .Blood. Blood. It is mine. . . This can't be. . . It hurts so much. . .Please. . .stop this. . .I am begging you. . . I can't. . .keep myself. . .under control for much longer. .  I must defend. . . must. . . !'

More tears begin to form in her eyes. "RUKA!!!" Squad 7 and Koyuki arrive at the scene. All of their eyes widen in terror when they see the mess that Doto has made of Ruka. "You bastard!! . . . I'LL KILL YOU!!!!!" Naruto rages while the whiskers on his cheeks have darkened and his eyes turn red, same as the 9 tails. 

"I assume you have the crystal, Koyuki~" Doto smirks at her. She runs up to her uncle and hands him the crystal, leaving the team chocked. 

"I don't understand...!" Kakashi says, speechless. 

"This shouldn't be a surprise to you all. After all, I am an actress." Koyuki smirks at the squad. But later, she takes out a small katana and stabs her uncle as a diversion. But her throat is grabbed her uncle and the two of them fall off the throne surface. 

Koyuki seems to be knocked out, but Doto is still alive. He chuckles as he pulls out the small katana and reveals that he, too, also has chakra armor. "Did you really think you could kill me with a silly little toy? Now that I have a crystal, the Willow Maiden will finally be in my control." 

"Don't you dare put your dirty hands on her!" Sasuke shouts and runs over to Doto, but is punched away from him. 

"Ruka!" Naruto runs to Ruka but is stopped by Nadare. Grabbing Naruto's throat and throwing him away. 

"It's no use. You're too late!" Doto walks over to Ruka. The maiden weakly lifts her head up and silently cries as she looks at her squad, and says, 

"Min'na. . . Gomen'nasai. . ." (Everyone. . . I'm sorry. . .) Were her last words as Doto placed the crystal around her neck. Immediately, her eyes had changed from red to purple. 

"Ruka!" The squad shouts when they see this happen. The chains around her shatter to pieces as she lands softly on the floor. "Ruka, no!" Kakashi reaches out to her while standing in one place. 

"She is mine now." Doto smirks, then turns his attention to Ruka. "Bring this place down." He gives out the order. Ruka nods her head and looks at the squad as she sings the song of destruction.

With Ruka's song, the building came down with fire and ashes. Doto grabbed Ruka and flew away with the help of his armor. But Naruto and Sasuke weren't going to give up. So they followed them. 

When Doto thought him and Ruka got away, he stopped flying and used the crystal to create a shield of ice around. "Now then, Willow Maiden, use your wood style now!" 

Ruka follows the order with no questions asked nor hesitation as she swiftly lifts her arms up. Wood from deep below the ground rises up. With the crystal around her neck, Ruka doesn't care about anything. 

Not even her own health. 

Now that her and Doto were back outside in the cold,  Ruka's skin was blue again, but this time, her feet are slowly turning dark brown, withering away. Within her own mind, she says, 'I am going to die out here. . . My body is beginning to decay. . .I do not want to die. . . Help me. . .' 

"Ruka!!!" Naruto shouts from afar. 

'Naruto!?' Ruka looks Naruto's way, filling some hope in her heart, but at the same time she worries if there will be enough time to save her. But with Doto's black mist, swallowed Naruto whole and Naruto's body hit the ground hard, making the ice beneath him to crack. Ruka's eyes widen at this, seeing his body like this. 'NARUTO!!!' 

"No!" The maiden shouts so loud that the crystal around her breaks. Her eyes had changed back to red. Ruka runs over to Naruto and holds his body close to her. "Naruto! NARUTO!! Please, wake up! Do not leave me, Naruto!" Ruka shouts at the boy in her arms. She sniffles and tears form once more in her eyes. "Naruto. . . Please. . . You promised me. . ." 

Ruka cries while holding Naruto's body close to her with her hair shading her eyes. "Get back here, Willow Maiden!!!" Doto runs at the girl with rage, ready to punch her to discipline her. As he aims to punch her, wood dashes upward, blocking his punch. "Wh-What!?" Doto blinks with confusion. 

"You. . ." Ruka whispers with her voice laced with venom. She slowly looks at Doto with her eyes now green, like her mothers, and her teeth sharp. "Will pay for this!!!" She roars and wood from behind her hits Doto, making him hit the ice block a few yard behind him. 

Ruka gently lays Naruto's body down on the ice as she stands up and glares at Doto. Using wood style, Ruka does Wood Dragon, A Thousand Hands, Wood Locking Wall, and Wood Spikes Ring to fight Doto. 

'So much power! Is this the true power of a Willow Maiden when they have full power!?' Doto thought in a panic as he dodges the attacks.

Ruka uses all of her power to attack Doto, showing him no mercy. The squad and Koyuki arrives and are shocked at what is happening. "R-Ruka?!" Sakura stutters with her eyes widen in fear. 

"She is using wood style" Kakashi exclaims. 'A Willow Maiden also has Wood Style technique?! It's just like back then. . . At the Grass Village Ruka used the roots from beneath the ground when she had snapped. What could have made her snap?' Kakashi questions in his thoughts before looking at Naruto lying on the ground. "Naruto!" 

And not to mention, the sight of her own blood. 

Doto flees away from the Maiden but is got by the thorns that Ruka had sent after him. "You will not escape from me! . . You will PAY!!!!!!" With that lost word, the maiden screeches like a banshee. 

The screech was so loud that the armor that Doto wears shatters, and his eyes roll to the back of his head. With this screech, the snow and ice around melts and shatters. It was like Ruka was shouting up to the sky. 

The generator from below starts up and warms up as the ice shines like crystals because of a maiden's cry. It is known to be a special ability to the Willow Maidens. With this scream, the sow is gone and out comes Spring. 

Ruka's screech fades when she knows that Doto is defeated. Her eyes return to red while she pants out of exhaustion. Ruka's eyes close and falls to the ground softly. 'So. . .This is where I shall rest?. . .  It's so beautiful. . .' Ruka smiles with her thoughts. 

"Ruka!" Sasuke runs over to her and gently holds her head on his lap. His eyes widen when her skin is very cold and her feet have withered away along with her legs. 

"Sasuke. . ." She smiles "Thank you. . . For everything. . ." 

"Don't say that, Ruka! Look, it's warm now!" 

"Ruka!" Sakura runs over to her with Kakashi following. Naruto regains consciousness and rushes over to his comrade. 

"Don't worry, Ruka, we're going to help you! Just hang on!" Naruto tries to figure out a way to help the maiden, but nothing comes to mind.

"Thank you, everyone. . . For everything. . . I never thought. . . I would live a life like this. . . It was so much fun. I got to experience so many wonders with you all. . . You have made me do very happy. . ." Ruka cries with the light smile, eyes open, while staring up at the sky. 

"Don't say that, Ruka! You're not going anywhere! Please, hang in there!" Sakura begins to cry as she holds Ruka's hand. 

"She waits for me. . . Mama. . . I can see her. . ." Ruka stares at the Former Willow Maiden behind the team with a peaceful smile. "Thank you. . . Thank you so much! I'm so happy!" Ruka giggles sadly, and with joy as her entire bodies withers. Nothing but a dead and empty shell. . . 

"RUKA!!!!!"
