Everyone stared at me when I went back to homeroom. I stopped, smiling awkwardly.

'I'll... just wait outside. There's only five minutes left of homeroom.'

I grabbed my bag and sat outside, biting my lip. It was my first day and I was probably already perceived as a weirdo.

'Dillon?' I looked up and saw the Audrey girl. I rolled my eyes.

'What do you want?' I snarled.

'I'm still really sorry for triggering your PTSD like that. I have trauma too. I haven't been in a vehicle since my parents died. I may not understand your experience, but I do understand that it sucks.'

She sat next to me.
'Thanks for the badge again. You're really nice. Could we start over?'

I sighed, thinking.
'Fine. I'm Dillon.'

'I'm Audrey.'

We shook hands and hugged before the bell rang. We stood up.

'What's your first class?' I asked.

'Geography. You?'

'Math. See you at recess!'

'Bye Audrey!'

I got up just before the hall swarmed and I walked to my next lesson. I got to my math room and Luna waved at me.

'Dillon! Hey, over here!' She called, pulling the seat next to her out. I sat down and got my notebook and pen out.

'I like your pen.' She said, gesturing to my blue fluffy pen.

'Weird thing to compliment me on, but thanks.'

Luna looked in her pencil case and sighed.
'I forgot my pen, do you have a spare?'

'Yeah, I hope you're a Gryfindor.' I joked, handing her my Harry Potter pen. Our hands slightly touched. I blushed hard and she saw.

'Are you OK Dillon?' She asked.

'Yeah, I'm just a bisexual teen girl.'

'Dillon, am I a crush?'

'Woah, calm down. You don't even know my Zodiac!'

'Which is?'

'Aquarius.'

'Cool, I'm a Pisces. So, am I a crush?'

'I don't know, it's barely been a hour.' I said, playfully flicking a piece of paper at her. She laughed and flicked it back.
