After a month

Now a days Neils attitude towards avni changed a lot in a good way , he is being polite, normal  with her and also romantic sometimes 

Though Neil did not mention that he loved Avni yet but Avni is very happy with this progress in their relationship.

No even now Neil doesnt pick her call whenever she calls , even now he doesnt spend time with her as he is "The Prime Minister" but she is very happy with new Neil . She understands that it is not easy being a Prime Minister so she patiently bares everything and has no complaints as now Neil changed a lot when compared to the past .

 When he is at home he stays in their room and talks to her normally , asks her about her college which is really a very big thing for her as no one except Ali and Swetha had asked her in her life.

 One day he did a very shocking thing , which is , he offered a movie night . It took Neil so much to wake her up from the shock which he had given to her , he had to spill water on her face . He not only offered but also stayed whole night with her watching her favorite movies making her very happy.

He is being very possessive , he was always but a lot more now , he always kisses her (of course on forehead) to show that she is his and only he has right even when the other person who makes him feel jealous knows this. The other person who makes Neil jealous and makes him act more possessive is none other than Ananth. Yes Ananth sometimes come to their home which makes neil boil in anger but he cannot say anything as Ananth is Avni's friend. It is not that he didnt say anything against it , he did but got nothing except her ignorance towards his words and actions and so he patiently bares Ananth for his own good . 

Ashish and Neela apologized to Avni many number of times and tries to talk to her and mend everything but Avni avoided them like a plague. Khanna family know how much avni is in need of love from their parents , they wanted Avni to give her parents a last chance but also no one wants to go against her decision , so no one ever talked about this.

One fine day 

Ashish and Neela comes to Khanna Mansion with luggage making everyone confused.

Neil : Maa , they are renovating their home and i had offered them to stay here for few days as they were about to go to Mumbai

Swetha: Thats very nice Neil and you could have told us before right , i would have make preparation's and Neela ji this is your daughters home , you can come and stay here anytime

Neela : Thank you Swetha ji 

Neil : Maa dont worry i had sorted everything yesterday night itself .

Swetha smiles 

Neil: Aunty and uncle you people please go to your room , i will send the luggage 

They both nod and go to their room 

Swetha : I hope avni will be fine with this 

Ali : I dont think so , Neil does avni know about this ?

Neil : No , I havent told her anything and thank god that she is not in home , if not i dont think their entry will be a normal one 

Ali : I doubt there will be any entry ? but one thing I am sure that they deserve her hatred

Neil shrugs : but how many more days ?

Swetha : That avni will decide , not us , anyway i think you people have to leave now 

Neil and Ali nods their head and leave to their office 

Evening Avni comes from college and after refreshing she directly comes to Kitchen to find something to eat 

Avni : Maa i am really very hungry , is there anything to eat 

Swetha : Yes your favorite poha is ready for u 

Avni smiles widely :oh wow please give it to me fast i am starving a lot

Swetha smiles and serves her the Poha

Avni : Thank you Maa 

Avni keeps a spoon of Poha in her mouth and immediately she knows that it is made by Neela, she has tears in her eyes 

Swetha looks at her eagerly waiting for her reaction and Neela is hiding behind the fridge and is waiting for Avnis reaction 

Once Neela and swetha sees tears in her eyes , they too have tears in their eyes

Avni : Maa ? (gulping down the Poha) u didnt made this right ? 

Swetha : hmm actually 

Avni: Why did she cook Maa ? i dont want anything from them Maa , please u understand me right , please Maa dont do this to me (crying) , ask them not to send anything for me , i am never going to forgive them no matter how much ever hard they try 

Swetha : But Avni beta

Avni : Please Maa not u too , i cannot handle them anymore Maa , they broke me completely , please Maa 

Swetha wipes Avnis tears , Neela goes to her room crying  and here Swetha doesnt know how to reveal that Ashish and Neela are going to stay there for few days 

Swetha : Beta please dont cry , u dont have to eat that if u dont want , i will give u something else 

Avni just nods her head 

Later in the night avni comes out of her room for Dinner and gets shocked seeing Neela over there 

Neela slightly gives a smile to Avni but Avni ignores her and goes near swetha 

Avni takes Swetha to kitchen 

Avni : Maa what is she doing here Maa 

Swetha : Actually Avni i dont know how to say this to you but 

Neela : Avni 

Avni and Swetha turns towards Neela who followed them 

Avni : Maa i am going to my room , i will eat Later (looking at Swetha)

Neela : Avni please bacha , once please listen to me 

Avni : Did u forget that I am not ur Bacha ? Anyway i dont have time to talk to u 

saying this she goes to her room 

At night 10pm Neil comes back and goes to his room 

Neil : Avni y didnt u have your dinner yet?

Avni : I was not feeling hungry Neil 

Neil : I dont want to hear anything , come let us go and eat 

Avni nods her head , she is happy that he cares for her 

Neil : And by the way Ashish uncle and Neela aunty are going to stay here for few days 

Avni gets shocked hearing this and gets angry 

Avni : what ???? 

Neil: Yes their house is getting renovated and they wanted to move to Mumbai, I have insisted them to stay with us as it will take only one week and i dont want anyone going against my decision 

Avni gets very much angry 

Avni : Y do u always do this Neil , u very well know that I dont want to be anywhere near them , u never think about me and my feelings ?

she yells at him 

Neil cups her cheeks and kisses her forehead 

Avni turns her head away 

Neil : You have to give atleast give them a chance avni 

Avni turns to him shocked and angry 

Avni : What r u talking Neil ? u know how much they hurt me right ? And u want me to forgive them and move on as if nothing happened ?

Neil : I very well know what is better for you avni , please trust me , i am not asking you to forgive them right now, I just want you to give them a chance . they are regretting a lot and u too know that 

Avni scoffs and turns away 

Avni : its very easy for u to say that

Neil sighs 

Neil : I am really hungry , can we go and have dinner 

Avni nods and they move to dining area

While they are eating someone rings the door bell making them wonder 

Avni : who are here at this time ? 

Neil: May be some of the security 

Avni nods and they continue with their dinner but they hear some sounds , probably laughing sounds 

Neil : whats happening there 

neil asks to a servant who is serving them food

Servant : I will go and check sir 

Neil nods 

after few seconds Swetha comes along with the Ali and Prakash , neil and avni doesnt notice someone else beside them as they are into their food 

Swetha : Neil look who is here 

Neil turns toward them and gets shocked and very happy seeing the person and avni is confused seeing a new face 

Person : Hi Neil 

Neil is still in shock seeing her but composes himself and smiles widely at her 

Neil : What a surprise Mithali 

Mithali smiles at him seeing him smile

 All where happy but ashish , avni and Neela were confused 

Swetha looks at their confused faces 

Swetha : Neela ji , she is Prakash ji's niece and mithali they are Neil's parents in law 

Mithali : Namaste aunty and uncle 

Ashish and Neela smiles at Mithali , mithali smiles back and them 

Swetha : And this is my beautiful daughter in law (pointing towards Avni)

Avni smiles at mithali 

Mithali : Hi Avni , u r really very beautiful 

Avni : you too are very gorgeous 

Mithali : Thank you (she blushes)

neil smiles looking at the girls 

Ali : Let us wait until they complete their dinner 

Mithali and everyone agrees and they leave to hall

Neil is still looking at Mithalis direction irking Avni

Avni : Neil i think we should continue with eating

Neil comes out of his trance and nods his head

Avni : Y didnt she come here to our marriage 

Neil stills for a moment 

Neil : I dont know , Bua couldnt come as her mother in law was not well , may be thats why mithali couldnt come 

Avni nods her head 

they complete their dinner and moves towards hall 

Neil reaches mithali and sits beside her smiling at her and they both get into talks 

Swetha : These three (ali , neil and mithali) i say , when they are together they forget the world

Avni is sitting quiet and listening to swetha 

Ashish : They seem to be very close 

Swetha : Yes they are , specially Neil and Mithali , they were very close , best of friends

Avni becomes uncomfortable seeing neil smiling and talking happily to Mithali 

Neela observes Avni being uncomfortable 

Neela : I think we should go to sleep its very late (she says loudly so that everyone can hear it )

Prakash : Yes yes , we have to 

Ali : Yeah even i am very tired , we have to sleep 

Neela : i think Avni should take mithali to guest room 

Swetha nods : Yes avni please show mithali her room 

Avni : Okay Maa , MIthali please come i will show you your room , you might be tired 

Mithali : Oh yes i am really very tired 

both Mithali and Avni move towards the stairs , Neil keeps on watching them 

Ali : Its very good to see her after many days right Neil ?

Neil : Yeah it is 

after sometime avni comes to their room and finds Neil looking into his mobile smiling at something 

Avni : What r u smiling at Mr Prime Minister ?

Neil immediately locks his phone making avni frown 

Neil : Nothing I was just looking at some meme

Avni nods but she know that he is lying 

they lay on their bed and avni moves closer to him and he hugs her making her happy and all her insecurities flies away 

Avni smiling kisses his heart making him smile

Avni : can i ask u one question 

Neil : when did u start to ask me permission 

Avni frowns at his teasing 

Avni : never mind , Is mithali very close to u 

Neil looks at her and nods 

Neil : she was very close to me , she was my best friend 

Avni : and Juhi ?

Neil : Juhi was my best friend in college but mithali , i know her since she is born , even though we were at different places we often call each other and talk , but i couldnt talk to her after our marriage 

Avni : Y didnt u ever tell me about her ?

Neil shrugs : what is there to tell , she is my cousin , if she had come to our home anytime i would have introduced u to her , she never came before and i just forgot 

Avni : But she was very close to u right 

Neil : Avniiii , please stop with ur questions , i am tired and i want to sleep 

Avni : anyway , dont u think u have lot more girl bestfriends ? (she asks him raising her eyebrows , her jealous is evident making neil chuckle)

Neil : That i do , what to say , u know my charms 

Avni scoffs and beats him on his chest making him laugh more 

Neil : now stop being jealous and let us sleep 

avni nods her head and places her head on his chest again 

they hear a knock and look at each other 

Neil : I think it is ali , that idiot what does he want at this time 

Avni opens the door and finds Mithali 

Mithali : Sorry for disturbing at this time , i am not feeling sleepy and was really bored , just thought to meet u people 

Avni was about to say something but neil interrupts 

Neil : U dont have to be sorry Mithali , u can come to us anytime 

Mithali smiles at Neil 

Mithali : Thank you for being sweet , if you dont mind avni , can i take your husband for few minutes please , just for old time sake 

Avni looks at Neil and sees him smiling at Mithali 

Neil :U dont have to be that formal and ask her , of course she will not mind 

Avni pov : Idiot khanna , y will i not mind , i will , i am already hating her , dont know y , one more girl in my Neils life huhhh , i hate all the girls in this world , y r they behind my husband and my this idiot husband , just now said that he is tired and see now how he is showing his teeth to her , i will kill him one day 

Avni : Yes u can , i can understand it been many days u people didnt meet and talk , please go ahead 

Neil and Mithali smiles at avni , they move towards hall and avni grits her teeth in angry 

Avni : Neil can never understand me in this life 

Just a filler chapter 

guys thank you so much for the concern you have shown upon me , that really means a lot to me and about my health , i am fine but i am not able to eat anything other than curd rice and now i got habituated to it , i hope i will be fine soon , its a post covid effect it seems and it will get cured itself it seems , so i have to be patience and look forward for the day where i will get back to normal
