Neil : Doctor how is she now ?

Doctor : She is stable and out of danger but lost lot of blood and is very weak right now

Neil : Thank you doctor 

Everyone are relaxed hearing that 

Neil : Bua you please take some rest , you have to take rest , she is fine now 

Bua : I am fine beta , let me once meet Mithali and then I can rest 

Neil : It will take some time for her to get conscious , please take some rest and meet her later 

Bua nods her head 

Neil and Ali insists everyone to get back into their room to sleep and everyone retires to their room 

Avni : Neil 

Neil : Not now Avni , you please go to room and sleep 

avni frowns at his rudeness , she just wanted to ask him about having some coffee or tea but he had to behave rudely and interrupt her 

Ali : Avni you too please go and sleep , you need some rest , you were working from morning 

avni nods her head and leaves from there 

Avni pov : Let him die , like I care , I am going to have a good sleep , idiot khanna , what does he think of himself ? A Prime minister ? yes of course he is the one but not at home , idiotic man, I hate him 

she angrily curses him and drowns into the sleep 

Next day avni goes to mithalis room after completing her morning chores and finds her sleeping and next to her she sees Ali sleeping on the couch , she smiles at them admiring their bond. 

She is searching for Neil but he is nowhere in the house , she even calls him but he doesnt pick her call making her more angry and worry. 

She goes into the kitchen and finds Swetha there. 

Avni : Maa , where is Neil ? I havent seen him since yesterday night.

Swetha : Beta he went to his office yesterday night he had some emergency. 

Avni : Oh okay. 

Swetha : Dont worry he will be back soon 

avni nods her head and goes to her room. 

Later when she is busy with her notes and assignments an old lady along with swetha comes there and sits beside Avni in the next couch. 

Swetha : Avni beta , she is Ragini pandit , Mithalis mother. 

Avni smiles at her

Avni: Namasthe Aunty. 

Ragini just gives a simple nod without even smiling which avni and Swetha finds very rude. 

Avni frowns but shrugs away thinking that it might be because she is worried of Mithalis state.

Avni : Aunty I think you are very worried about Mithali , but aunty please dont worry , we are all here and she is fine and stable now. Good thing is she is conscious now and is even talking to others right ? please dont worry. 

Ragini : I know what to do and what not to , you dont have to tell me what I should do , be in your limits little girl 

Swetha and Avni gets shocked seeing her very rude towards avni 

Swetha : Ragini she is just 

Ragini : plese babhi , I dont want to listen anything now , excuse me 

Saying this she leaves from there 

Avni looks at swetha 

Avni : maa I am sorry I didnt know that..

Swetha : Shh why r u even saying sorry avni ? you didnt commit any mistake , let her go for now , I am leaving her for this time because I think she is really worried for her daughter, next time she will see my Rudra Avathar if she speaks the same way with u 

Avni smiles at Swetha 

Avni : My Cutie Maa(she hugs swetha and kisses her cheek) 

 Neela smiles at them , she had seen everything that happened , she was about to argue with Ragini but she stayed calm as even she didnt want to argue at that moment when mithali is ill. 

Swetha : ok ok now , go and give tea and snacks to your husband he might be hungry 

Avni : He is home ?

Swetha : Yes he came 15 min back itself , he is in Mithali's room

Avni gets angry but she doesnt show it up

she rushed towards Mithali room and gets shocked seeing them hugging each other 

Neil : I am sorry because of me you are in this situation 

Mithali : Oh please Neil , why would you blame yourself , what matters now is that I am fine

Neil nods his head and breaks the hug 

Neil: Okay you take rest I will get fresh and come 

Mithali nods her , he makes her sleep on bed and kisses her forehead 

Avni gets very angry seeing the entire scene , she is boiling in anger and right now she didnt want to go inside the room as she may burst on Neil in front of Mithali which she didnt want to 

Avni pov : How dare you neil , how could you kiss her, come to me and I will show you who I am 

Avni angrily goes from there and Neil goes to his room 

Neil refreshes himself and again goes to Mithalis room 

Avni comes back with refreshments for Neil but not finding him in their room she searches for him and finds him in Mithalis room , laughing and talking to her along with his Bua and Ali 

Avni enters inside the room and greets them with a smile , she gives neil his tea 

Bua : Where are the manners girl , dont you know that you have to bring for all of us not only just for your husband? I guess your parents didnt taught you well about manners

Avni , Neil and Ali gets angry 

Before Neil or Ali can speak Neela comes inside the room 

Neela : you dont have to worry about that Ragini ji , we very well taught our daughter about the manners but I think you are not aware of how to talk and how to behave with the daughter in law's of the house, I can see that you are very rude and very ill mannered , so you dont have any right to talk to my daughter in such a way 

Ragini gets angry while avni and all other are shocked seeing Neela talking in rude way 

Ragini: How dare you to speak to me in this way ? Who are you

Neela : Then who the hell are you to question my daughter , since morning you are targeting my daughter and are always taunting for everything ,I am not avni to sit calmly and bare every ill thing you speak better keep your words in mind

Swetha comes running hearing Neela shout 

Swetha : What happened Neela ji 

Neela : Swetha ji ask you sister in law to be in her limits , I am no saint to keep quiet when some people always taunt my daughter for every small thing , I am sorry for being rude but please understand 

Saying this she leaves from there 

Avni looks at Neil and then at Swetha. Swetha nods her head in assurance and asks her to leave calmly which anvi does 

Avni goes directly to Neela's room 

Avni : Wah Mrs Mehta , now you got to remember that I am your daughter ? what did u say ? that no one has right to taunt me ? Oh yeah , that is your only right to taunt me and misunderstand me right ? That is why you dont want any other person to take your right , 

Neela starts cryins and tries to go near avni 

Neela : Avni please listen to me 

Avni : Stop there Mrs Mehta , dont come near me and keep this in your mind , till now you never cared about me and even now you shouldnt care , I can take care of myself , like how I took all these years 

saying this she storms of out of Neelas room leaving crying Neela 

Avni goes in to her room , Neil comes inside

Neil : Avni 

She looks at him and immediately hugs him crying her heart out 

Avni : what does she want to prove Neil ? I am happy myself right ? Now why is she interfering ? Please send them back to their home Neil , I dont want them near me 

Neil caresses her head 

Neil : Avni shhh relax , calm down and listen to me 

He wipes her tears and makes her sit on the bed 

Avni : Neil please again dont ask me to talk to them 

Neil : stop and listen to me , I am not asking you to forgive them , I am just asking you to give them a chance , they are clearly regretting about what they did to you 

Avni just hugs him tightly 

Avni :I need some time Neil 

Neil : Take your time

he pecks her forehead but suddenly she shoves him away 

Avni : How dare you to kiss her Neil ?(Angrily)  

Neil : What are you even talking about Avni ?

Avni : Dont act smart, you just kissed Mithali , I saw it with my naked eyes

Neil : Dont make it a big scene , it is just out of concern for her Avni and what if I have kissed her on forehead ? She is my cousin and my best friend , dont create a scene now 

saying this he leaves the room

Avni : This idiot stupid prime minister Khanna has no heart.

It been a week , Mithali is completely fine now and doing well , she and her mother are still in Khanna Mansion making avni's life hell. Neil is back to his initial days, he doesnt have time for avni . He is very busy with his work and he comes very late to home and when he comes back he goes to Mithalis room along with Ali to check up on her and stays there talking to 2 of them , sometimes even Ragini stays with them and they talk laugh on all the other things of the world.

Day by day avni goes into depression , she tried to talk to Neil regarding this many times but as soon as he comes into the room , he goes to sleep saying that he is very tired. 

Neela and Swetha observes her lack of concentration on everything she does, they both are very worried for her. 

Swetha tries to talk about avni with Neil and is waiting for Neil where as Neela goes into avnis room to talk to her 

Avni : What are you doing here ? please go away I dont want to talk to you 

Neela : Avni are u fine bacha 

Avni glares at Neela 

Avni : Didnt I ask you to go away from here , please go and never come before me 

Neela : Bacha please talk to me , I am sorry bacha, please talk to me , tell me what is troubling you , I am there with you and will always be there with you

Avni : Just shut up and go away from here , I dont want you ,I dont want anyone , do you get that (she shouts at Neela)

Neil: Avniii , is this the way you talk to your mother 

Avni : you dont talk in middle Neil and you (turning to Neela) please go away before I do something wrong.

Neela leaves from there crying and Avni sits down holding here head 

Neil: Day by day you are being very stubborn avni , this is not expected from you. 

Avni : Shut up Neil , just SHut up , you dont have any right to talk to me this way when you yourself dont do anything which I expect (She shouts on him again)

Neil : Do u have any idea on what u r saying , because this makes no sense to me 

Avni : Exactly what ever I say that is a nonsense to u right ? 

Neil calms himself down 

Neil : What happened avni , why r u behaving like this , please relax and talk to me 

Avni : Wah now after creating a havoc inside me u r asking me to relax ? 

Neil : Avni--

Avni : Wait today you didnt go to your lovely Mithali ? your dear female best friend ?(she taunts him making angry) 

Neil : control your words Avni  

Avni : or else what will you do Neil ? you will bash me again ? Do that , go away , I am used to it already 

Neil : You watch out before talking Avni and what happened to you , y r u talking this way? are you fine 

Avni(Controlling her anger) : You know what Neil , please leave me for sometime , I will be better , like always you do , leave me alone for sometime and I will be fine 

Neil goes out from there and sits on the couch 

Mithali : Hey Neil 

Neil smiles at her slightly 

Neil: Hi

Mithali : what happened ? you are sounding low 

Neil : Nothing I am fine , just tired 

Mithali : why r u trying to hide it from me Neil 

Neil : what r u talking about Mithali , I am just tried thats it 

Mithali : Okay if you say so 

Neil tries to leave from there but stops hearing Mithali 

Mithali : why r u still with her Neil ?

Neil looks at Mithali in shock 

Neil : what r u even asking Mithali 

Mithali : I know Neil, I know everything , I know why you got married to her but I am not understanding why you are tolerating her , why r u even being with her 

Neil : Mithali I guess you are out of your mind , I didnt give any one that much lenience to talk about my personal life 

Mithali : okay I will not ask about that but what about the promise you gave me few years back ? I have the right to ask about it right ?

Neil gets shocked 

Neil : I dont remember any promise , what nonsense are u talking about Mithali 

Mithali : Dont lie Neil , I know you remember , I know you still have feelings for me , thats why u couldnt bare when I was ill , am I right ?

Avni who is hearing their conversation gets shattered hearing Mithali, she stays still over there eagerly waiting for Neils reaction, for once she wants Neil to say that he doesnt have any feelings for Mithali and he truly loves only Avni 

Neil: Feelings for you ? it is utter nonsense Mithali 

Mithali : Dont lie atleast now Neil , I know you had feelings for me , I know you wanted to marry me but you were forced to marry her that Avni and I know that you are not happy with her Neil 

Neil (Angrily) : Come to the real world Mithali , you are imagining things on your own 

Mithali : Oh really ? tell me one thing Neil, do you love her ?

Avni anticipates Neils answer , her heart beating fast and loud 

Mithali : Answer me Neil , why arent you answering one simple question 

Avni is silently crying 

Neil: I dont have to answer anyone Mithali , now please go away from here before I lose my control and say something wrong.

Mithali : No Neil today I will not go away with out getting my answers , today I am asking you and you have to answer me , Y didnt u marry me Neil? Y did u marry that Avni , whom you dont love till now , you are not happy with her Neil , you are forced to marry her and she is not the one for you Neil , I havent seen you happy with her even for once. Please Neil answer me , why r u with her still ? Is it because of your reputation that you dont want to leave her ? 

Neil is controlling himself , he has red eyes and didnt want to shout at her 

Mithali :Please Answer me Neil ,I know why you are being like this , I cannot look at you like this Neil , I want my happy Neil back , why dont u leave her Neil ,please answer me Neil , please get back to me as you promised , please Neil answer me. I want my answers today , isnt it why u r being with her ? for your reputation?

Neil: You know what Mithali, I am not answerable to you and your nonsense questions , I am leaving because its waste of my time to ask you to leave to your room and one more thing I dont give a f--- about what people think , I do what I feel and no one is responsible for that 

Mithali : No Neil today you have to answer me , without answering my questions I wont let you go , tell me if you love her or not 

Neil (fisting his hand in anger) : What do u want to know Mithali, Yes I dont love her , Yes I didnt want to marry her , Yes I was forced into this relationship , Yes I promised you something but.. 

Before he can proceed they both hear a flower vase dropping behind them and turns to look behind but both of them get shocked seeing Avni standing there with tears. Neil is shocked to the core , he finds avni standing still looking at him with pain , anger and hurt. 

Neil : Avni 

Avni raises her hand to stop him to talk 

she leaves from there crying to her room and locks the door before Neil can enter 

Neil stands outside their room not knowing what to do
