Nicole looked over the massacre of bodies that littered the museum floor. There wasn't a single surface not stained red. Bodies were mangled beyond recognition. Nicole carefully stepped over their mangled flesh, talking in the scene.

"Son of a bitch..." She muttered, impressed by the handy work. Maybe that human had been the right choice after all. This type of destruction was ancient, untouched evil. Apparently all it needed was the right vessel.

Nicole took one last look around the room before focusing on another. With a blink, she was in the room half masked by shadows.

"I shouldn't have doubted your decision of Brendon Urie." She said, casting her eyes towards the dark. "The key truly unlocked any evil within."

"As well as every ounce of evil it possessed." The rhaspy voice laughed, "Evil that's built up for centuries."

"An evil unlike I've ever seen." Nicole added, a bit jealous of the power a mere human had been given. Prophecy or not, the massacre could have been even better had an already supernatural creature had been given initial possession of the artifact.

"Much was used, but everything else went into the being." The rhaspy voice said, "He'll be ready soon."

"How soon?"

"Are my demons ready?" The voice countered.

Nicole nodded. "The lower ranking ones are awaiting instruction."

"Good..." There was a pause. Nicole kept quiet, placing her hands behind her back as she awaited instruction. "Send them to retrieve the key."

Nicole held back a laugh. "They'll be destroyed."

"Yes. Then you will engage the human once they've taken the blunt of the darkness inside of him to retrieve the key."

Nicole smiled. "Does his survival matter?"

The darkness laughed. "His afterlife was sealed the second you were introduced into his life. You can do what you wish."

Nicole let her earlier laugh escape. She would have a taste of that power that Brendon absorbed. She pulled out her phone, quickly bringing up the human's contact.
