A common myth about wiccan or traditional withes is that they worship the devil or that there magic is unnatural and bends the natural world to there will but It is actually quite the opposite, In fact the more natural the spell feels the more powerful it is. Sure there are indeed hex's and curse's that a witch can cast but this is more uncommon as most of us aren't out there just to harm you and become some all powerful being. Most spells are used to better our selves our events in our lives, say your luck has been down well then there's a spell for that, Your not as healthy as you'd like to be, there's a spell for that. That's what most the spells witch's use.

As I said curses and hex's do exist but do they do? Most curses and hex's cause misfortune in ones life such for a set amount of time(depending on the spell used) There is no death curses or anything similar to one. Sure some curse's can be worse then the other some can even cause appearance changes(like give someone acne or maybe cause baldness minor things that are deemed unattractive).  

How are spell's performed? The first step is to make a safe space or a wiccan circle. These can be made in many ways some use candle and put them at the points of a star creating a circle and others can use crystal's and gems, or even both It depends on the witch. Those are only a few ways the could be made. The next step is by boiling or burning a certain orb, sometimes it could be to meditate with a certain goal at mind or even chanting a certain phrase which could be in the ancient Nordic language or even ancient Latin it all depends on the spell(most use there first language like English I prefer Nordic). These spells will often feel very natural to the person doing it and they can even feel a sudden burst of energy. All spells uses the natural world and natural abilities that all people posses and those who don't understand it may call it supernatural.
