Now

Sienna:ruby, don't you see that your alone? Everyone on this island agrees with us, it's time that we show a forceful hand to those humans

Ruby:but killing innocent people is not the way! What about the faunus that live on that island?! What about the fact that patch treat's faunus with equal rights, for God's sake the leader of that island is a chameleon faunus!!

*Ruby screamed, trying desperately to make them see the light. Sadly it didn't work, Since all of them were too far gone to be reasoned with*

Adam:it's a sacrifice that needs to be made ruby, you can't make an omelet without breaking a few eggs. And you can't achieve equal rights, without spilling some blood.

Blake: ruby, listen to them. Since I don't want your blood to be the one we spill. But if we have to do it we will. Stay out of our way, and just keep building the weapons.

*Blake said with a cold glare, the look ruby gave Blake, it dawned on ruby, that there was no way she could save Blake. Blake looked at sienna*

Blake: Sienna, those were just copies, she still has the real ones are still in her workshop

*Ruby looked so betrayed by what Blake said, as she started to chuckle softly, hiccuping while she chuckled, with tears on her face. She looked at the other faunus at the room, and glared at them*

Ruby:you know what's the saddest part? There was a part of me that knew this was gonna happen. But I put my faith in you, that it wouldn't

*Ruby said softly, her hair covering her eyes as she took something from her pocket, the 3 other faunus saw it, it was a detonator. Ruby pressed it and the ground shook, they looked out the window, and they could see a large smoke and fire in Ruby's research lab*

Sienna:rose, what did you do?

Ruby:i destroyed it. I destroyed all the plans, blueprints, everything you need to know, on how to create a hydrogen bomb. It's all gone.

*Ruby said with a serious expression on her face, Adam looked furious at ruby, but sienna looked oddly calm about it*

Sienna:your wrong. It's not gone, the blueprints on how to use create another is breathing right in front of me

Ruby:then it's a good thing that I'm not staying long enough,for you to get it out of me.

*Those were the last words Blake heard ruby say. Ruby gave Blake one last look, and the look ruby gave her was so haunting, that she still sees them in her dreams. Ruby turned into a explosion of petals and dashed out the window. Sienna raised her hand slowly and pointed at where ruby ran off too*

Sienna:Adam, get her.

Adam:yes sienna

*Adam said running afteg ruby, Blake watched them go and them felt a hand on her shoulder, she looked at sienna smiling proudly at her*

Sienna:you did the right thing Blake. Ruby may have failed, but you have more than proven your loyalty. I see many bright things for your future, come with me, let's discuss them...

*Sienna said, Blake nodded feeling pride in what she just did, even if later down the line she'll feel a crippling guilt that will almost consume her alive completely*

Back to the present

Blake:after that.... I thought ruby was killed by Adam. That's what happened to the last deserter...I betrayed her yang, I betrayed her completely, how can i face her ever again? Please tell me how....

Yang:.....

*Blake said, showing so much emotion, yang couldn't give her what she wanted to hear, she could only hug her shoulder, and keep her close, she heard Blake sniffling on her neck. They just stayed there, as the night sky illuminated them, Blake has a lot to make up for, she knew that. She just didn't think that her biggest regret was gonna be one of them*

The part that Blake doesn't know

*Ruby was running for her life in the forest, she was getting cuts and bruises from all the branches that would hit her body. Ruby could see the harbor, she was almost free, all she needed to do was hide on one of the boats and...*

*Birds, and other animals ran away from the gunshot, as ruby fell on the ground, she held her side as she screamed in pain, blood quickly coming out of the wound. Ruby screamed even louder when someone stepped on her back, at the entrance hole. Ruby was crying as she felt a sword close to her neck*

Adam: there's no room for leaks in our organization rose. For what it's worth...I'm sorry about this. But you brought it to yourself

*Was that last thing ruby heard, since Adam slammed his foot at the back of his head knocking ruby out cold*

Scene change

*Ruby woke up feeling her arms chained up above her. She was in so much pain, that she whimpered as she opened her eyes, she was chained up against a large tree overlooking the sea in a cliff side . whenever ruby would move even half an inch, she would be jolted by a large amount of pain. So she remained still, frozen for hours as she saw the moon slowly moving on the night's sky. She heard footsteps coming towards her, and she felt relief*

Ruby:h...help! Somebody! Anybody! Help me!

*Ruby screamed to get their attention, but the pace of the footsteps didn't increase, the two people made themselves known, appearing on Ruby's line of sight. Those two were Sienna Khan and Adam Taurus respectfully*

Sienna:ruby rose, I have to say. I was shocked and disappointed that you of all people were gonna expose the secret plan the white fang was planning

Ruby:s.. Sienna, that plan will cause so many people killed!! How can you not see that?!

*Ruby said out loud, trying desperately to get her to understand, but much to Ruby's disappointment, sienna only frowned*

Sienna:no, that's where you're wrong. It'll cause so many mindless animals to die! Those humans want to kill us till we're extinct, just because we're different. We need to fight back

Ruby:but if we do that, we're no better than them! Those who are gonna get hurt are innocent in all this!

*Ruby said, shocked that sienna wanted to bomb the populated island of patch. Sienna crossed her arms looking angry*

Sienna:and every single faunus was innocent. Until the humans decided that they were gonna abuse us. Ruby, I like you. Truly I do. The white fang won't be the same without you, since no one can create weapons like you. But, I'm not gonna let you destroy everything that we've set up, because of your naive sense of morality. So, be a good girl and tell us the codes

Ruby:no ah!!

*Ruby screamed when Adam pushed his thumb inside of the opened wound, both white fang members looked at her without mercy*

Sienna:that was unpleasant to watch, I can only imagine how it felt. I'll ask again, give me the codes

Ruby:n...no. I'm not gonna let you kill innocent people, I won't let you destroy what the white fang used to Stand for aah!!!!

*Ruby screamed again, as Adam kept torturing her, the young 14 year old held for a while 2 whole hours to her credit, but then it got worse, adam was stabbing her in the legs over and over again, they weren't killing her, Adam made sure to stab her in a way that she wouldn't die of blood loss, they wanted her to alive, needed her alive. ultimately she broke. She was, a crying mess when she surrendered*

Ruby:o...ok ok.... The code is 19-01-24

Adam"....why am I not surprised that she chose Blake's birthday?"

*Adam thought as she saw sienna walk up ruby, and cleaned her tears, slapping her cheek softly and condescendingly*

Sienna:that's a good girl, we'll leave you here till after the mission is completed. Since you've proven that you cannot be trusted. I wouldn't bother screaming if I was you. Nobody but us knows that you're here. Adam with me

*Sienna said as she and Adam walked away, leaving ruby there to suffer from the pain she was feeling, leaving the open wounds unprotected*

Hours later

*Ruby was weak, she started losing feelings from her legs, and arms, her opened wounds, no doubt getting infected. Ruby grew a small smirk when she heard footsteps coming towards her, this time they were coming towards her at a fast pace, she looked up and saw an angry sienna and Adam*

Ruby:so...how was the mission?

*Ruby said, or tried to. Her voice came more as a whisper, but both faunus heard him. Sienna growled and slapped ruby hard, making her wince and give out a weak and pathetic chuckle. Since the codes she gave them? They were the emergency shut down codes*

Ruby: I'm guessing that it was a failure. You might as well kill me. Since I would rather die than have a hand in killing thousands of living beings at once.

Sienna:....Adam, release her.

*Sienna said, Adam did as he was told as he cut the chains from the tree. Ruby fell to the ground, groaning weakly in pain, as she crawled into a ball, she didn't have the energy to escape. She could just barely stay awake. She heard sienna grab the chain and drag ruby on the ground*

Adam:sienna, what are you doing?

Sienna: she's a traitor. Because of her, the mission was unsuccessful, and multiple of our people were arrested. She needs to pay for her crimes

*Sienna said, ruby felt the air on her body, she looked down and eyes widened a little. Sienna was dangling her at the cliff side, do the sea below. Ruby looked at Adam, and saw the conflicted look on his face, for 8 seconds he wasn't the white fang's red blade. But Adam Taurus, her friend. But that was only 8 seconds. Adam's face became cold again, as he placed his hand at his back and looked forward*

Adam:your right. There's no room for snakes in the organization

Sienna:good to know you're loyal to the cause. Ruby, I'm not a cruel person unless you give me a reason to be. Now. Give me the activation code or die a painful death from the fall, or drowning either way, your final moments will be filled with pain

*Sienna said, she loosened her grip a little, making ruby fall a bit. She strengthen her grip again, this was just a scare tactic, and it was working. Sienna could see the fear in Ruby's eyes *

Sienna:now, what are you gonna choose? Loyalty to the white fang? Or death

Ruby:o..ok ok. I'll choose....

*Ruby said weakly, sienna smiled and started pulling ruby away from the cliff side, she stopped when she felt something wet and sticky slowly falling from her face. Ruby rose just spat a bloody, snot filled, spit to sienna. Ruby used whatever strength she had left to smirk and growl at her again*

Ruby:what's one life against the 3 million of the island of patch? I'm ruby rose, a dog faunus and I'm loyal. Loyal to the real white fang, a white fang for peace and equality for all.

Sienna:......

*Sienna didn't speak, she allowed ruby to have her final words before she let go of the chains, and let ruby drop into the waters below. Ruby saw the water getting closer and closer, the only thing she could do is close her eyes and wait for death. Her dog faunus brain could only think of one thing*

Ruby" I was a good girl..."

*the second her body made contact what the now hard like surface of the water, did Ruby's brain react making ruby gasp, and inhale the salty sea water into her body. She struggled to swim, but her legs were too weak to move, she just started to drown, her vision became blurry and before she knew it she passed out*

Back to the present

*Ruby woke up in a jump, feeling as if she was drowning. She looked around in a panic, as she got her breathing under control, having to relive that event in her life, in her nightmares again. She laid back down on the bed, just overwhelmed, over everything. Ruby hugged her pillow and just started to cry, until she fell asleep from exhaustion. She was terrified of seeing Blake again, of seeing anyone from her past again*
