Last time

Blake:my relationship with Adam became more serious, as the days turned to months, all the while my relationship with ruby, was strained. We didn't interact till we were both in the white fang....

Now

Flashback

*We see Blake on her scroll, she was waiting for Adam. He said that he had a surprise for her, she got a message from her parents making Blake frown. Blake ignored them and kept scrolling. they didn't approve of Blake joining the white fang, and past Blake in the "it's not a phase mom" emo phase, got into a fight with them, and left home, she was currently staying with Adam.*

Present

Yang:Gods Blake

Blake:yes I know, I was a horrible daughter to them, I should've listened to them, trust me yang, this isn't anything I haven't thought of myself before

*Blake said with a sigh, even with family therapy and individual therapy, Blake still felt so guilty over the pain she made her parents deal with, she shook her head. Now was not the time to think about that *

Blake:anyways, so Adam walked into the room

Back to the past

Adam:hey, sorry I took so long, the line was long

Blake:ok, but line for what?

*Blake asked confused, Adam just smiled at her, he walked to the couch and sat down, putting 2 brief cases on the coffee table. Blake smiled a little, Adam looked excited*

Blake:ok, so the line was to get whatever is inside these two brief cases, are you gonna tell me what they are?

Adam:where would be the fun in that? Open it, I'm sure it'll get one hell of a reaction to you

*Adam said, his smile becoming bigger. This was the Adam that Blake fell for so hard, he still had part of him, that were good, parts that wasn't drowned out by his hatred for humans*

Back to the present

Yang: it feels like you're trying to justify staying with him for so long, ignoring his red flags

Blake:first of all, who doesn't have a red flag? Myself, that I have problems sharing things with others

*Blake said, admitting at least one of her flaws, yang thought about it and nodded for yang herself, is that she doesn't take relationships seriously, Weiss that she can act like a spoil brat, for Illia how she blames everyone but herself. So yang shrugged*

Yang:fair

Blake:and secondly, I'm just telling the truth, Adam used to be a lot better. Before he lost himself to the cause.

*Blake said, a small part of her wishes thing could've been different, that she would've been able to save him from himself.*

Blake: sometimes I wish...I wish things could've been different,  But I can't change the past, no matter how much I want to....

*Blake said, and she really wants to, she would change so much, yang placed a hand on Blake's shoulder, to bring her back from her over thinking guilt filled brain*

Yang:fine, fine, so. You open the brief case

Back to the past

*Blake rolled her eyes, since Adam refused to tell her, what's in the box. She put her scroll down and opened the brief case, she gasped since the inside of the case, held something she only saw in a drawing years ago, she grabbed it and inspected it*

Blake: Gambol shroud.... How? I thought only you, ruby, and me knew about this

Adam: you're right, so what does that tell you?

*Adam asked, Blake thought about it for a few seconds, it was a simple solution. But that didn't give the reaction that Adam was expecting. Blake frowned a little and put the weapon back on the case, he sighed softly*

Adam:you two really need to talk about this

Blake:I tried to talk to her, but she always runs away, why should I keep trying, when she doesn't want to?

*Blake asked, crossing her arms. She felt insulted that Adam wasn't taking her side, Adam just shrugged, opening his case, and revealing wilt and blush*

Adam:first of all, because you're older than her, secondly you were Ruby's first rejection, can you blame her, for not knowing how to process it?

Blake:so she told you what happened, and you're not mad about it?

*Blake asked with a raised eyebrow, Adam ignored her for a second and stood up, he started slashing his sword, testing it out. The smile on his face, told Blake he was excited to test it out*

Adam: I'm annoyed that you kept this from me

*Adam said, slashing the air getting a good feel for the blade, and making soft lightsaber noises, but Blake heard them loud and clear and she swears he said "I am the senate"*

Adam: I'm annoyed that I had to spend months trying to figure out what happened between the two of you.

*Adam said, grabbing the hilt that was also a rifle, ruby really did do a spectacular job with it*

Adam:But I'm not mad, how could I be mad, when she didn't know that we were dating?

Blake:whatever, I'm still not talking to her. She had her chance and she blew it

*Blake said being stubborn, Adam looked at him with a raised eyebrow, Blake just scowled deeper at him*

Adam:Blake, your already not talking with your parents. Do you really want to lose your best friend too?

Blake:it's my life, if I don't want to talk with her, then I'm not gonna. And you don't get to tell me who I can and cannot talk to

*Blake said feeling bitter, Adam sighed shaking his head, he grabbed his brief case and left, to test out his new weapons on live targets. Blake laid on the couch, sitting and letting her hatred stew over. She looked at the brief case, and grabbed the weapon again. Inspecting it. Remembering all the things, ruby said the weapon was gonna have*

Little ruby:it's gonna be a weapon capable of transforming into a cleaver-like sword, a katana, a gun, and a chain scythe on a ribbon. It's gonna be awesome!

*She heard little ruby say, inside her head. Blake tested it out and sure enough, the weapon could do all those things*

Blake:....oh God dammit.

*Blake grumbled, as she got up and walked out the house to go see ruby, Blake ignored the smug smile Adam was giving her, since he knew where she was heading*

Scene change

*Blake made it to the weapon Smith's house, she walked to the door and tried to opened, but it was locked. She looked at the small sign on the window *

"I'm on break, if you have a problem, remember I have access to a lot of guns"

*Blake read, she chuckled softly and knocked on the door. She was surprised when she heard ruby yell*

Ruby: doesn't anyone read the sign?!

*Ruby yelled annoyed that her lunch of a big tomahawk steak was being interrupted, she walked to the door and opened it, her breath hitched on her throat seeing who it was*

Ruby:b...Blake...

Blake: ruby...

*They both said, and then stayed quiet, they just stared at each other awkwardly, not knowing what to say, after 3 minutes of just standing there, Ruby decided to speak

Ruby:uh...h..hi

Blake:......hi.

*They said and then stayed quiet for another 3 minute. Blake coughed and looked around*

Blake: can I....can I come inside?

Ruby:o.. oh....um... O..ok

*Ruby said softly, moving aside, Blake walked inside, hearing ruby locking the door behind her, Blake looked Around looking at all the weapons in the wall, feeling the heat coming from the big furnace. Basically looking at anywhere but at ruby*

Blake:nice place you got here.

Ruby:t..thanks, Sienna went all out after I made her weapon. Liked it so much, that she made me in charge of making everyone's weapon's

*Ruby said giving a small awkward laugh, they sat down on the table and just....stared at each other, not knowing what to say*

Ruby:s..so...why did you come here?

Blake:I, uh, got the weapon. It was....really nice, it was perfect actually.

*Blake said, she saw ruby look surprised, then she smiled brightly wagging her tail again. God Blake missed seeing her like that, or just seeing her in general*

Ruby:oh! I'm glad you did, it was the first weapon I made! I uh... I hope it treats you right

Blake:I'm sure it will

*Blake said with a soft smile, as ruby started to ramble on, on all the aspects of the Gambol shroud, Blake didn't notice but her soft smile, turned into a smitten smile, just listening to her speak with such passion. After a while, Blake sighed knowing she needed to get this out of the way*

Blake:ruby....we need to talk

Ruby:but we are talking

*Ruby said with a small nervous smile, the look Blake was giving her, made ruby sigh softly, looking down at the table*

Blake:ruby, I don't want to lose you, I don't want to lose what we have, I don't want to lose our friendship, it means too much to me

Ruby:it.... it means a lot to me too it just....hurt me, a lot. I know It wasn't your fault, I know that I can't force you to love me, and...I'm sorry I've been dodging you for so long...

*Ruby said softly, Blake got up and walked up to ruby, hugging her, ruby hugged her back, rubbing her face a little on Blake's chest*

Blake: it's ok, I'm sorry for....well I didn't really do anything wrong in this case, but still. Friends?

Ruby:best friends

*Ruby said with a small smile, even Blake from back then could tell that ruby wanted more, but that was something Blake couldn't give her. So they remained as friends*

Present

Blake:so we remained as friends. Things...things were good, things were going back to normal in our friendship, but sadly it was also at the time where me and Adam were being sucked into the propaganda of the white fang....
