EZRA
Ezra looked around the small hotel room. There were two queen beds, both of which were neatly. made, the window had Victorian styled curtains with golden stitches; the room was quaint but small and at least Ezra didn't need to worry about disgusting stains even if they were cleaned. Ezra unpacked, but stopped when he saw his tablet sitting at the bottom of his suitcase. He stopped and sat down, pulling the tablet out and once he got the Wi-Fi working; he started going through the browser that was already open. After going through the browser and searching for the name of the school, he found the school's website and opened it. His father thought that the reason they hadn't gotten along wasn't because of Michael. Well, it was, but he also felt lonely. Anytime that Ezra wandered around Lebanon, Kansas, all he could see was the amount of kids his age hanging out with their friends. The only friend he had was Mary, and even then, it was still the same. Ezra scrolled through the homepage and noticed all the activities that the school had in store. Maybe this was Ezra's chance to have somewhat of a normal life.
The door knob to the hotel room turned, forcing Ezra to put his tablet up and reach for his gun. Thankfully, Ezra did not have to use it since his father entered the room. A sigh of relief flooded his system.
"Dad, you scared me." Ezra said.
"Sorry son, I didn't mean to do that," Dean apologized. "But nice job with those reflexes." Dean laughed and placed the McDonalds on a table.
"On an unrelated note, what are we supposed to do? You know about this case?" Ezra asked.
"Well, after we go to the morgue and figure out what we're dealing with, we have to go to the school," Dean continued. "Also, they didn't have the food you wanted, so I just got you a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit."
"Thanks," Ezra said and sat down. "So dad, I have an idea about what we can do to blend in."
"What?" Dean questioned as he went through his McDonald's bag.
"We could do something similar to what you and Uncle Sam did," Ezra said. "Only, instead of a janitor, we could go in with you as a substitute teacher and me as a student." Ezra watched as his father thought about that for a few minutes before a smile appeared on his face.
"That's my boy!" Dean exclaimed. "Lets hope that whatever we're dealing with is not the student," Dean opened his biscuit and gravy meal. "Now, eat up. You'll need your strength." Ezra nodded and ate his food.

A few minutes later, Ezra and Dean arrived at the morgue and approached the desk. A burly man with graying hair sat behind the counter reading an Asian Brides magazine. Dean cleared his throat at the same time the man looked up from the magazine and narrowed his eyes.
"Can I help you?" asked the man.
"Hi." Dean said as Ezra and his father held up their FBI badges.
"We're here to see the body." Ezra chimed in.
"I can't do it without something." the man made a movement with his hands, signaling he wanted some money. Ezra rolled his eyes and placed a twenty on the counter. A smirk appeared on his face as he led them to the morgue.
"So you said they found the girl on a high school campus?" Dean asked.
"Yes, she was torn to shreds, but the weirdest thing was that her heart it went missing," the man said. "Anyway, I'll leave you guys to it." the man walked out of the room, leaving the Winchester alone. Dean pulled the door open, revealing a black body bag. Taking the zipper in his hand, he unzipped it at the same time a putrid smell exited the bag.
"Well son," Dean said. "Looks like this is your first werewolf hunt. Look." Ezra grabbed a pencil and checked the inside, trying his best not to throw up. He never went on a werewolf hunt before, so this was new to him and he hoped he wouldn't disappoint his father. When he looked at the body, he saw everything was there except for the heart.
"That's just gross!" Ezra exclaimed. "What does this mean?"
"It means we need to get into that school. Come on, let's head back to the hotel and get ready." Dean zipped the bag back up and pushed the door closed. Once that was done, they walked out of the morgue. Ezra didn't want to admit it to his father, but he was ultimately looking forward to going back to high school even if it was only for a day. After getting everything they needed, they got into the impala and made their way to West Portland High. Dean pulled into the school's parking lot before turning toward his son.
"You ready?" Dean asked. "Remember, we need to figure out who the werewolf is."
"As ready as I'll ever be," Ezra said. "But tell me I can at least make some friends."
"Ezra..." Dean began. "You know that..."
"I know, in this life it's best not to get too close to someone, but if we're going through this, I have to get some friends." Ezra begged. Dean said nothing, but took a deep breath. Sure, he didn't like that Ezra was excited to go back to school. He knew the job had to be done.
"Okay fine, but we need to be incredibly careful. Keep your guard up," Dean said. Ezra threw his arms around his father, catching Dean off guard. "Alright no chick flick moments kid, let's get inside." Ezra pulled away as father and son got out of the car and made their way in.
