Chapter 4: Terrible Reminders.
Tage stayed clear of Ashlie after their little incident, he and she apparently were dealing with what happened separately. They did however get into their regular routine of ignoring each other except when it came to the training, which were still not helping at all when it came to Ashlie's Force strength and the amount she was regaining.
He came and went to the guild's stronghold on Yavin-4, or should he say their new base considering Sulfur's stronghold in Kaas City was far too much of a risk and security matter to be used. Tage wasn't surprised when Favius returned with his medical report on Ashlie and the fact that he couldn't find anything. The thing that did surprise him was the fact that Favius of all people became the guild's newest doctor.
It was to say very odd considering Favius was once known as Fixer 8, who was a demoted cipher agent and changed his field of study after he failed to save his friend Aleena after Isisus had attacked her in one of her temper moment's, he was in vain due to his friend dying however. Though it did take time for him to get over her death, he decided to put his skills into the field of medicine and also decided to stay in the guild than leave like it originally wanted to. Tage still had no idea if the man was still angry with Isisus but in the long run he turned out to be a fine doctor, despite some other's thinking otherwise.
Construction was continuing at the new stronghold however and new recruits seemed to enjoy the atmosphere and free space the stronghold now held, well despite Isi being a very difficult taskmaster and extremely heavy on her physical punishment's. However Tage was called to the stronghold by Isi which he assumed was another needless task she needed him to solve.
When he arrived he was not surprised to find her seated in her throne, he simply stood before her with his hand's clasped behind his back and waited hoping that it was good news that she summoned him to hear.
"I want to see you're Apprentice, Councilor Thectage. Prepare a shuttle to travel to you're home immediately." Isi stated this without any warning clearly she was being blunt.
Tage however was very surprised at the rapid command and the very content's it held. "May I ask why, High Lady?"
He noticed her grimace, but soon after she humored him. "The Doctor gave me the report he brought back and as such I did some research on her symptoms, I believe I know whats wrong, but I want to make sure before we do anything."
His eye's widened after that and he could only answer with. "Is it treatable or reversible."
She remained silent looking at him for a moment until she spoke. "In a sense, yes and yes. So make haste in this, I do not like when my time is wasted. She needs to be fixed, and when she is you will be able to finish her training otherwise she is useless at the moment."
He simply nodded in agreement, he had tried everything when it came to getting her to focus and while some tasks were successful for Ashlie other's like those using the Force was still a bitter issue.

"She's not sick as everyone believes she is." Isi stated as she inspected Ashlie. "She is being Force drained by some entity who for some reason chose her, I suspect it being because of her being strong in both the Light and Dark side's of the Force."
"In fact, she is being siphoned because of how strong she is, she is certainly one of the strongest, like you, I have ever come across in a very long time." She stated simply to Tage who at this point was shocked at that realization. Though he guessed it meant that now there was three people in this little heap of a family who were strong in the Light and Dark, wasn't a contest on who was the strongest though he knew that.
Isi continued on however. "Doctor Bartuk, and now Favius both cleared her psychically, but they both noted her symptoms and problem's all of which were familiar to me." She brought up the information she brought together and handed it to Tage who to say was still a little dumb-founded.
He took it and viewed it though he didn't really see it in anyway since he was still very much confused at what she was saying. That and the full problem itself he had to admit.
"As a Forcewalker with similar afflictions, I knew right away that she was being surrounded by an entity. Now we just need to find out who and what it is that is attached to her and is trying to drain her Force Energy."
"Wait..What? She's being haunted?" Tage asked in disbelief, he was completely confused while she talked about this, but was starting to get used to this speak.
Isisus put a hand up and shook her head in frustration. "Not Exactly, Councilor."
She explained it to him again this time being very carefully yet Tage was getting agitated by the second. He could tell that she was scolding him in a way now, but he didn't care. Though when she shook her head he could tell she was loosing her patience and was going to start shouting...again.
"Listen up! I wont repeat myself again." She sighed afterword's and retraced her step's once more.
"When I met my ancestor Kallig in the tombs on Korriban, he told me of the Forcewalking ability and the danger's that came with it. He also told me that if wanted enough, an entity could attach themselves to a living being to drain them of their Force energy much like what it could do to a Forcewalker when they use this ability. There were also symptoms and affliction's to those who are being drained or use this ability, nausea, vomiting, depression and very many other thing's are common in this and they all match to Ashlie. Do you understand now?"
Tage looked over at Ashlie who thankfully at the moment was unconscious, he nodded after and whipped around and asked. "Who? Who would dare do this to her?"
Isi stared and then nodded afterword's. "That is what I'm here to find out, Councilor."
*****
Isisus had taken a break from studying Ashlie after what seemed like an hour or so. Though Tage had taken the choice of telling Ashlie everything after they woke her up, which they did after Isi was done. It didn't take long however for her to start having a tantrum about it, first raging in denial, then ending with her crying in misery.
Tage didn't know exactly what to do here, he thought at first to just give her some sign of affection or hold her, but no he knew if he even showed one sign of weakness she would use it against him...something she probably was looking forward to for a long time now.
He sighed as she continued, Ashlie was now more of a screaming lunatic then anything. Though he couldn't tell if that was because of the entity or it was just her mental state itself. Tage wasn't really sure of many thing's lately, more or so with her than anything. She made thing's confusing at times, and very complicated when it came down to the end of it.
However as said he could do nothing, the entity that was now known was an issue when it came to her. The second issue was the very resentment she still held for him, she still wasn't talking to him as he would have liked and when it came down to many thing's she was still hostile and usually making threating comment's about a lot of thing's.
Tage seemed to shake off the thought's in his head when he noticed that Ashlie was moving out of the room to go find Isisus no doubt, so he followed her and stopped behind her when she went to address to Isi that she now understood and accepted this information.
"How soon can you undo this, High Lady?" Tage asked frankly, but he clamped his mouth shut and grimaced when Ashlie raised her chin up and glared at him.
Isi nodded before looking over toward's Ashlie. "How soon can you have princess here to do it willingly?"

"We've lost some of our strength, but thankfully we are rebuilding and have new more promising people than before." Tage explained to Ashlie who he knew was now listening intently about the new changes within Imperial Vengeance, it was still difficult with these changes yet they all were managing fine.
Tage noted that Ashlie was getting stronger since Isi's attempts to gain entry into the Nether by using her Forcewalking ability and by using Ashlie's aura, this however still made her weak since Isi wasn't fully able to Forcewalk yet. He did also note that Ashlie was acting more like herself again as well, whether that was a good thing or not for him was still debatable.
Ashlie turned toward's him with narrowed eye's, he expected this really she still didn't trust him and he doubted she ever would.
"Are you okay with not being Minister of Intelligence? That was your entire dream for most of the time I've known you." She pointed out with a look of suspicion making itself on her face.
"I won't lie. At first I was very livid and making several plans on how to kill Minister Kerazu, but even I have to admit she does a fine job at what she's doing now though I am thankful I still have some say in thing's, due to being Sith and such. It didn't help that she saw me coming at times as well, smart little bitch, however she did introduced our head doctor named Bartuk who by no means is bad at his job far from it should I say....still we're missing a head engineer."
Tage didn't hide anything as he spoke, he knew she wanted to be brought up to speed and that was what he was going to do. Yet he noticed that she was calm and still a little weary while he spoke, he didn't know if she realized but this was the first real conversation they had since, well before she had left year's ago. To say at the least that he had missed this was a bit of an understatement, they talked for hours and he knew it was her favorite thing to do with him. Well, second favorite he knew.
He had somewhat changed over the year's, he was more stern and more alert than he was when he and Ashlie were still married. Crazy was also a thing that was decreased after she left, that was a different time however where Tage had to fight for power and gain what he could. Though now he had enough to do somewhat of whatever he wanted, he doubted that was possible however.
Tage had a feeling as he watched Ashlie shake a feeling off, perhaps it was the same feeling he was having he did not know. They both knew that something like that was far fetched, and if he was to open up first he knew she would use it against him, but if she didn't...that was the clear question to him.
*****
Thing's did not go as planned for Tage and Ashlie, as Isi was called back to the guild stronghold. She told Tage to stay with Ashlie and keep up to date with her training as she was now strong enough to be doing so. They would just have to deal with this so called entity when it became a immediate situation.
"So I just let this....thing continue to suck the Force out of me?" Ashlie asked in clear anger at Tage once Isi's shuttle departed.
He turned to her with his hand's up and outward with a grim look at first. "Don't blame me, Ash. We'll get to the bottom of this eventually I can assure you that, however other thing's must be given priority at the time. Isi will help us, well when she will help us that is."
She simply narrowed her eye's and tapped her foot in a fit of temper, it seemed from what Meg had told him was that Ash and Jaelynne both had the same pattern when angry....How lucky he was.
"She has an entire guild to focus on right now, no offense but you're are one in thousand's she has to care for." He pointed out with annoyance rising in his tone, but when Ashlie's chin jutted out he threw his hand's up and walked away only to yell back afterword's.
"Training arena, now, Ashlie. We still have a lot of work to do and Isisus will want to know that we are cooperating toward's regaining you're strength, and please for the love of the Force don't give her any reason not to beat the shit out of you."
He shook his head as he walked into the stronghold's entrance, taking time as he knew she would still be a bit un-cooperative...that was in any sense the Ashlie he knew too well.
******
Tage realized soon after that Ashlie was progressing nicely in her training, he saw that she was regaining her strength back at a faster pace than he thought. He reported this too Isisus who was extremely happy, but he could tell that she was very tired and weary at this point.
The role of leading this guild was apparently a struggle, though he knew that she was survive, but still when he brought up everything in trying to help her she merely shrugged it off to be the point he had to get Attila, the bounty hunter who was signed on to Imperial Vengeance. However he wasn't surprised when the man reported that the people he sent to help her were dead, he merely shrugged it off as he continued to work.
Isi was reported to be changing a lot more as she kept trying to push herself into successfully Forcewalking into the nether so she could contact Sulfur or in the very least speak to her.
Tage's concern was with Ashlie at the moment however, she was in no need of training which surprised him. The only problem was the entity that was latched on to her, he could tell as she was starting to get weaker during their last conversation.
He continued to ponder why Isi found it so important to speak to Sulfur, maybe it was for assistance or maybe because Sulfur was an anchor. Tage wasn't sure about that, but thought it was feasible and reasonable enough. He learned that Ashlie would be used as a conduit of some sort, and he didn't know if he should be concerned or not. Though he did intend to make sure that nothing would happen to her, he thought a bit too bitterly knowing he was letting his feeling's grow again.
Tage had been updating her family, both Jaelynne and Kellan had called in many times in regard's to Ashlie's health, and always he told them what Isi told him. It was a bit suspiscous to Tage that Jaelynne was a bit calm during all of this he knew that she was concerned but realized that Ashlie was in good hand's, but their last call was a bit lackluster to say at least almost as if though she was anticipating something. He wasn't too sure really.
Kellan was updated by Doctor Bartuk and by Tage, he was probably the most informated in the end, but thankfully nothing had happened....yet.
*****
Tage silently cursed himself for what he had said earlier, as he and Ashlie both witnessed the scene infront of them.
The entity had presented itself to them, and what hadn't expected was the Entity itself was the ghostly figure of Sulfurburn.
"Tell Isi I wish to speak with her now, it is time. The prophecy must be initiated." She told both before retreating back into the nether, leaving them both stunned.
"How is that even possible? She was still alive when this started happening to me." Ashlie asked in complete disbelief, quickly turning to Tage who was just as shocked as her.
"I do not know, what I do know however is that we need to relay that message, right Now." He said before walking off to message Kerazu to inform Isi straight away.
