INTRODUCTION
i think of you in the morning
before the sun rises,
when in the still of the darkness
my heart feels your presence.
your love, your tenderness,
your slow rhythmic breathing as you sleep,
and i am at peace.
i think of you when the first rays of sunlight
spill like a waterfall between the blinds
and settle in my eyes.
i reach my hand, my foot, any body part will do,
to touch you and breathe you in.
it feeds my heart, my soul, my spirit,
and i am at peace.
i think of you at noon when the sun is at its highest,
when the heat warms my skin
and causes my eyes to close with sheer pleasure.
thoughts of you surround me, envelop me, overpower me.
images of you swirl around like a funnel cloud,
sucking into its grasp all that it touches,
and i am at peace.
i think of you when the sun is setting
and its final rays of light begin to fade.
i can hear your voice, deep, soft, and slow in my head⎯⎯
words of beauty, joy, friendship, and everlasting love.
my heart begins to sing a love song so sweet and so gentle.
i cannot wait to share my day with you and yours with me.
and i am at peace.
i think of you when the sun has set and the stillness of the moon
is displaying one of its many wondrous phases.
thoughts of your smile, your laugh, and your eyes
create a feeling that is impossible to express with just words.
the need to touch you, to feel you, to drink you in
is almost too much to hold inside.
anticipation of you is the greatest gift.
i am at peace.
⎯⎯sherry hilderbrand, when do i think of you?
CHRISTOPHER ROBIN was no stranger when it came to pain.
First, he lost the only friend he ever had as a child, leaving him alone as he watched all the other kids in the Hundred Acre Wood play together. Not long after that, Christopher became an orphan and was taken in by his aunt. Then he met his wife, Evelyn, with whom he had a daughter named Madeline. But it wasn't long before both his wife and daughter got sick, a fever taking them in the night.
The man struggled for many years to cope with everything that he had lost, his mind crumbling into fragments. He did everything he could to try and forget the people he loved, but he couldn't. Their ghosts haunted him everywhere that he went. And not even Red or Pooh and the gang could help him overcome his losses.
When the Evil Queen crashed the royal wedding of King James and Queen Snow White and threatened to take away all of their happy endings, Christopher was terrified of what would happen. Still, there was a small part of him that was relieved. Because maybe, just maybe, he would finally be free from his pain and the ghosts would leave him alone.
But, sadly, that didn't happen.
Christopher's ghosts followed him to Storybrooke, Maine. And for the past twenty-eight years, he has lived as Alan Milne, a simple man with a simple job. But he was still the same in some ways, for he still had memories of people that he had loved and lost. He still had the guilt of losing his wife and daughter.
But when a mysterious blonde woman with hazel eyes crosses the town border, everything starts to change. Suddenly, Alan finds himself drawn to Emma Swan like a moth to an open flame. He finds himself wanting to know everything about the woman, for when she looks at him, everything feels right in the world again.
And that isn't all Emma does.
Her presence starts to change everyone and everything in town. And now, Alan Milne is going to find out that Storybrooke and its Madame Mayor aren't all he once thought them to be, for a book resides in town that carries the truth on its pages. And only the Savior can save them from the evil that had taken everything from them.

author's note: it is tragic how there aren't any emma swan fics on this platform 😩 after realizing this, i decided to write one of my own and came up with the idea of christopher robin. however, this isn't exactly going to be the christopher robin we all know and love from the movies. he will still have aspects of the character, of course, seeing as he is based off of christopher, but i've added some things to make the character my own and give the story and character some original flare
