Robin's POV

  I feel like crap but, I haven't seen wally in about three weeks. That's about the longest we've ever been apart. No missions with the team, no hanging out, and just no being together at all! I know I've been really busy with Batman but, now the only night I can spend at my boyfriend's house I'm sick as a dog.

  The car stopped and I thanked Alfred as I got out to get my bags. I slammed the trunk (which only made my already painful headache much worse) and waved goodbye to Alfred as I made my way to the door. I got to the stairs and was about to knock when the door flung itself open to reveal wally standing there with that big goofy grin of his plastered on his face. That face made me feel like everything was right in the world.

 "Hey your finally here. What took you so long?"

 "Nothing, I was just feeling a little off. But I feel better now." I said putting on my best fake smile as my stomach churned so hard I thought I was gonna puke right then and there. I hope he bought it. He didn't. Wally told me to come in and shut the door behind me. He then felt my forehead with his hand. "Babe you could've just told me you weren't feeling well. Go lay down in my bed." I didn't want to but I went anyways knowing I was gonna lose this battle so I went upstairs and layed in the bed. Almost as soon as I layed down I had to jump right back up again and sprint to the bathroom. I was leaning over the toilet when I felt a warm hand start rubbing my back and heard wally whispering comforting nonsense to me as I continued to throw up. When I was done he helped me back to bed and then went to get something. "I'll be right back." He said and then went downstairs. He came back with a thermometer, some medicine, a bucket, and a cold washcloth.

  "I figure you'd want this..." he was pulling something out from behind his back and it was... Peanut! My stuffed elephant I got from the circus. I was so excited, I thought I'd lost her forever! "You left it over here the last time you spent the night." wally spoke quietly as he climbed into bed. "Thank you so much." I said with tears in my eyes. "Go to sleep my little Robin." "Ok" I whispered as I slipped into a feverish sleep.

Wally's POV

 I woke up to the worst sound I could hear coming from my robin. Screaming. He was having THE dream again. He always has it when he's sick or just really upset. I hear him scream out "Mami, Tati! Nooooooooo!" "Rob, wake up. Come on babe wake up, please!". He shot up and looked around the room frantically trying to figure out where he was. When he did he immediately started looking for me. "Hey, hey. It's ok, i'm right here." I hugged him and he broke down in my arms sobbing while I rubbed his back trying to comfort him. I leaned back into the headboard as he was nodding off. I could tell he was trying to fight sleep. "Go back to sleep, babe." "No, I'll have the dream again!" "Ok, ok." I said knowing he would eventually have to fall asleep. 

  I watched his eyes drop farther and farther until he'd pop them right back open again. "Babe you have to go to sleep some time or another. Just sleep now so you can get better." I tried to reason with him "But what if I have the dream again?" He said with more tears gathering in his eyes. "Then I'll be right here and I promise I'll do everything in my power to keep the dream away. Ok?" "Ok." he said. 

Time Skip

 I woke up the next morning to see Dick still cuddled up on my chest. I smelled something amazing coming from downstairs. I carefully slid Dick off of me and went to investigate that heavenly smell and possibly eat it. I got downstairs and saw Aunt Iris cooking so many foods at once I almost fainted. There was bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, hash browns, sausages, and toast. "Hey Aunt I. Good morning." "Good morning Wally. How'd you sleep last night?" "Not very good," I told the truth, "rob woke up with the dream and he was sick last night." "Oh no, that's to bad. Go see if he's up and if he is ya'll come get breakfast." "ok, but he probably won't want to eat much cause he threw up last night." "Poor boy. If ya'll want something to eat then you can get whatever you want from down here in the kitchen." "Thanks, Aunt I."

  I walked back into my bedroom to see what was one of the cutest things I've ever seen. Dick was sitting on my bed with his hair all lopsided from twisting in his sleep and he was yawning and stretching like a cat when I walked in. "Hey, if you want to come downstairs my aunt made breakfast." "Nah i'm good I'll probably just grab something from the cave." "The cave?" I asked wondering if he meant Mt. Justice or the bat cave. "Yeah Bruce wants me to come back and work on my homework, the new case we have, and he needs me for patrol tonight." "Oh" I said.

 "Well I've got to go but, thanks for taking care of me last night." "Yeah no problem. Bye babe." "Bye Kid Idiot." he said. I kissed him goodbye and watched him crawl out the window. Stupid Bruce and stupid homework and stupid cases and stupid patrol I thought pouting. All I wanted to do was spend more than two minutes with my baby bird. Maybe I'll see him tomorrow and we can go to the park or something. Yeah that's what I'll do. Tomorrow though, cause I am about to starve I thought as I ran back down the stairs so I could get some of that delicious food Aunt I was and probably still is making.

 I got downstairs and saw Uncle Barry. "Hey kid." he said while reading the paper "Hey" I said back confused as to why he was still here, he should have left for work considering it was noon and he should have already left for one of his jobs. Whether it was Justice League stuff or his forensic scientist job he should be gone. "Don't strain yourself kid, I'm here because we have an off world mission tomorrow that's gonna last for a week or longer so I took today off to spend time with you and Iris before I leave." he said like he could read my mind or something "Oh.".

 Yes! I ran back up into my room and started squealing like a little girl. I didn't even care though because this means I get a whole week alone with Rob. I mean of course we'll have to patrol our cities and stuff but we can still see each other all during the day and patrol doesn't have to be done everyday...

 A/N: Hey guys sorry this sucks, it's my first story but, I plan on turning this into a series so if you like it keep reading. I will try to update as much as possible with school starting up soon. And I know I could've left like, the last two paragraphs out but I needed a lead into the next chapter. Also sorry if there's any grammar mistakes. Please comment so I can have inspiration for writing, your opinion means the world to me you guys. Also any tips on writing or what I did wrong would be great. Thanks. :)
