The Wedding
They spared no expense. It was a storybook wedding by the sea. The reception room was massive, consisting of an open bar, fine dining, loud music, dancing, chandeliers, and champagne – Oceans of it! There was even a champagne fountain!
I helped myself to a few glasses from the champagne wall. Then I drank a whole bottle of the bubbly stuff meant for our table, but, to my surprise, no one else wanted any.
Some suspected I was drunk as I danced like a court jester. But I felt no ill effect of alcohol as I pranced until well past midnight.
