Chapter 15: UA Sport's Festival

Sachi's heavy foot steps as he made his way back to his classroom, his eyes felt hot but he refused to cry. Sister Lilly had told him that Haruhi had stopped visiting him after the first day. But he immediately brushed it off as, oh, it's okay she's probably busy.

Yeah, with her new boyfriend. Sachi thought bitterly. The back his hand wiped his eyes viciously, his thoughts were always on her, oh how dumb he was. Sachi let his hand tremble on the door handle of the classroom's entrance. He sighed deeply before letting it slide open quietly as he slipped in. He ignored everyone around him as he sat down in his seat.

It looks though the teacher hadn't appeared yet, Sachi's lips kissed his teeth as he seethed.

"Damn..." he let his face fall into his face. Mina went to comfort him but was interrupted by the door opening once again.

"Mr. Aizawa! You're alright!" a student exclaimed. The mummy-like teacher sighed, "I'm your teacher, I'm not going to leave some measly injuries stop me." he scoffed before sighing once more.

"But your fight is not over yet." He states seriously.

All the joyous moods lessened considerably and turned into something like mixed fear and seriousness.

"You can't mean..." Izuku trailed off only to be interrupted by Minoru who finished his sentence, "More villains?!" Minoru's comment went unnoticed as Aizawa shook his head.

"No, I mean that the U.A's Sport's Festival is coming up."

Tenya raised his hand, "is it wise to hold it after such a short amount of time from the incident concerning the USJ?" Aizawa seemed to be growing white hairs from the lack of sleep.

"Yes, The U.A Sport's Festival, will be heavily guarded and almost all of Japan's Pro-Heroes will be gathered here in once place, no villains will be getting past us. I would like to encourage you all to do your best!" Aizawa assured the nervous students his dry tired eyes flickered to Sachi's dull violet ones.

"Sachi, a quick word if you don't mind." Sachi frowned before standing up and nodding as he followed after his teacher out into the hallway.

Mina turned to Shoto quickly, stomping over to his desk.

"Alright, spill." the half n' half teen looked at the girl stoically.

"He's my rival," Shoto spoke softly, his eyes trailing off back to his slim book. Mina and Tsuyu exchanged confused glances. Fumikage sighed as he turned around to face the boy.

"He's just your rival?" he questioned, Dark shadow nodding along.

"He wants to be better than All Might, this makes him my Rival." Shoto kept his poker face game strong as he turned his attention back to his book, his heterochromiac{most likely not a real word} eyes searching for the line he left off on.

But his attention immediately shifted to Sachi who walked back inside the classroom with a smile. Shoto's eyes warmed at the sight, his expression didn't go unnoticed by Mina and Dark Shadow.

Fourth Period, Modern Literature.

Ochako, Izuku, and Tenya were outside of the classroom after the class had ended. And a rare pair exit together out.

"Sachi--and Todoroki?!" Izuku stumbled over his words as Ochako held her cheeks in surprise.

"Yeah?" Sachi smiled at the trio, his eyes shifting to Shoto then to the green-haired teen. Izuku only smiled and waved his hand, "sorry, sorry, I just didn't expect you to walk together!" he spoke softly.

Sachi shook his head.

"He wanted to meet the kids, and I wanted to get stronger so I went to the strongest person I knew. The faster I train, the better I will be!" the hazelnut-haired teen chirped excitedly before grabbing ahold of Shoto's hand and bowing to his friends in a sign of good-bye.

"I'll see you guys later!" the trio waved to the two boys before turning to themselves.

"Is it what I think it is?" Ochako asked Izuku, Tenya nodded to himself with crossed arms.

"You said something about money, did you not, Uraraka?" Izuku asked. Before the two boys had exited the classroom, the three were talking about Ochako's motivation in becoming a hero.

"Oh, yeah!" Ochako blushed softly with a shy chuckle.

Sachi skipped down the pavement with Shoto close beside him.

"Kazuto will like you a lot, maybe..." the violet-eyed teen laughed nervously as his skipping came to a slow walking pace. Shoto turned to the boy, "If you want, we can take a break before I meet them." He muttered loud enough for the teen to hear.

Sachi smiled brightly making Shoto squint, "That'll will be great!" Sachi linked his arm around the back of of Shoto's neck as the two made their way to a cafe.

"Do you not like me? I mean, since I called you a jackass?" Sachi asked, he was hiding his face with the desert menu he was given by a waitress. Shoto refrained from smiling, his head turning the other way to avoid looking at the wide bright violet eyes. His cheeks felt hot and his eyes flickered around the cafe to find a distraction.

"No, no I don't. If anything, I see you as my rival." Shoto spoke clearly and swiftly.

That was smooth...Shoto complimented himself with a ghostly smile.

"Rival?" Sachi's confused but happy voice, Shoto glanced at the boy with a sigh as he grabbed ahold of the desert menu.

"Excuse me?" Shoto quickly got the attention of the waitress that had greeted them at the door.

"Yes, sir?" Sachi noticed the deep blush that rested on her cheeks, ears bright red.

"We'll have two of the small strawberry short cakes," Shoto turned to Sachi for affirmation but the boy was distracted with a deep glare that was sneakily being pointed at poor girl. Shoto smiled softly and let his hand grab ahold of Sachi's clenched ones.

"Can you make one of those cakes have extra strawberries? Thank you," Shoto briskly spoke before he turned his attention back to the boy in front of him with focused and smug eyes. The waitress gaped at the two before bowing and leaving to grab their orders. Sachi stared into Shoto's mesmerizing different colored hues, his face felt oddly hot and the feeling of Shoto's right hand on his clasped ones felt cool and satisfying.

Realizing where they were, he snatched his hands away as he hid his face with the hood of his jacket.

Shoto sighed and leaned back in his seat, "Sorry," he apologized softly. The half n' half boy turned to look away only to have Sachi grab his hand.

"Are you uncomfortable?" he asked. His hood was down and his bright violet eyes bore into his, searching for answers. Shoto shook his head.

"I feel warm whenever I'm around you, It's comfortable and welcoming. I feel at home--more than I feel welcomed at my own home. That cursed old man." Shoto's expression showed one of dishonor and anger. Sachi smiled at him, "You're always welcomed at the church! Since I don't have any parents, the Sisters at our church took me in along with the other kids."

Shoto examined his face, lost in thought, "I didn't know you were an orphan..." he trailed off, his eyes caught sight of the waitress from before who was coming towards them with their orders.

"Yeah, I don't know why, but I have the feeling that my biological parents didn't mean for me to be abandoned. But--" Sachi was interrupted by the sound of a cup breaking and a burning feeling on the side of his head. His head tilted up to see the waitress and an customer who had sat behind them staring at him in shock.

Sachi looked at his now stained uniform shirt and ruined jacket, not bothering to patch the burning feeling on his face as he stood up. His eyes wide.

"Haru..hi?" The red-haired girl looked at him as her hands covered her mouth. Shoto was quick to grab the side of his face and place a icy hand on the burn, the cloth that was wrapped around his hand did nothing to hide the cold feeling.

"Let's go...Sachi," Shoto whispered. Sachi frowned deeply, his eyes clearly expression sadness. Shoto no longer felt warm, a chill ran down his spine.

He slammed some money down on the table and exited with the male in front of him.

Haruhi reached out to talk to the boy but was stopped by her boyfriend who grabbed ahold of her hand with a warm and loving look. She smiled at him before bowing to the waitress who already began to clean up the mess.

Shoto and Sachi slowly made their way down the street, the sun had already began to set, a warm glow enveloping the small neighborhood they had entered.

"It's better for you to go home, I know that it's uncomfortable but...if you were to stay in my home--everyone is already packed in like sardines." Sachi laughed with a sad tinge to it. Shoto didn't respond and only continued to walk beside the shorter teen.

"Todoroki---" Sachi was interrupted by Shoto who grabbed ahold of his hand, stopping them in place.

"Shoto." he muttered, "Call me Shoto." Sachi glanced up at the boy with a soft smile.

"Alright, Shoto," the two shared a warm stare as they continued towards the Church in the distance.
