Cassie's POV

I chewed the cap of the pen. What my dad told me is driving me crazy.

The class was talking. Typical. I looked at the door. The teacher wasn't here...or the new student.

I wonder why.

That new student must be lost or something. This is a big school. It's really big.

I smiled weakly as I looked at my desk. Soon I could hear footsteps coming my way.

I looked at the person. It was Dawn. The girl who literally wrecked my school reputation. That is until it died out.

You see, I used to be Dawn's best friend. I told her that I had a crush on a popular boy. She swore she would never tell everyone.

Of course, she begged me to tell her. Then she went on and told the whole SCHOOL about it.

Wanna know something else? Even the TEACHERS were laughing about it. I begged my mom for me to move schools but she refused. The boy soon moved school. Dawn said the reason the boy left is because I was too ugly for him.

It died out a year later. One year of sniggering, laughing behind my back, friends not wanting to be my friend anymore, more bullys and torture.

One whole year of pain.

"What's wrong Cas? You finally realised how ugly you look", she sneered. The class burst out laughing.

I clenched my fist. I stood up. "Oh? What about you? Didn't you find out how ugly you looked? Oh wait you didn't get a chance see your reflection because the mirror already broke!" I shouted.

"Oof Burn!" The class shouted. Dawn's face was red now. She flicked her here. I scoffed.

"Whatever" she scoffed, walking down to her desk. "You just got burned by HER" I heard her "friend" saying. "Whatevs" she said as she flicked her hair and put her right leg on her left leg.

But the truth was I wasn't thinking about me burning Dawn.

I wasn't thinking about the teacher, I wasn't thinking about the new student, I wasn't thinking about my parents right now.

I wasn't even thinking about Dawn and Sya ( Dawn's "friend").

There was only two people I was thinking about right now.
