Chapter 33

*Ronnie's POV*

"Come on, Charlie. We're going to be late!" I called out through the hotel room that was huge. It was more like a suite. I guess Jeffrey and the boys wanted the best for us while we visited. It had been a month since Jeffrey and I had kissed that night on the farm. We hadn't talked about it since.

Charlie came running out of one of the bedrooms with her jeans and a Supernatural Comic Con shirt on. It was a four day Comic Con, but we had to come a day late due to Charlie having school. I placed Charlie's badge around her neck and grabbed mine along with my phone and the room key.

The Comic Con had already starting early that morning, but I allowed Charlie to sleep in figuring that she could've used it from the long flight we had taken. I pushed Charlie lightly out the door as she put a headband in her hair. "Are you ready?!" I asked her as I hit the elevator button to head down to the main floor.

She nodded excitedly. The elevator doors opened and I lead Charlie through the back of the hotel. The noise became louder as we made our way to the huge ballroom doors. Fans were packed in the rooms chatting excitedly about meeting the actors behind the show. Charlie's hand was clutched to mine tightly.

"This way," I said to her as I followed the directions that Jeffrey had given me to the green room. "Are we going to see daddy?" Charlie asked me. I looked down at her and squeezed her hand. I looked around to see if any fans were paying attention, but they weren't. I looked down at Charlie with a small smile.

"We're gonna try," I said as I stopped in front of the green room door. I showed my badge to the security who smiled and let me into the room. The door shut behind us and it was a lot quieter in here. Not many people were in here, as some were already out on the floor taking pictures and signing autographs. Cliff came out of nowhere and offered me a bottle of water which I took gratefully.

"Ronnie Jean, I was wondering when you were gonna show up," he said. I chuckled. "It was a long flight, Cliff. We needed some rest before having some fun," I said. Charlie still had a grip on my hand. "The boys are still out on the floor, I'm actually about to head out and check on them. Would you like to join me? I'm sure they'd love to see you guys," he said. I smiled but shook my head.

"No, that's alright. I don't want to interupt the fans," I said. Cliff leaned down to Charlie. "And how about you, Charlie? Do you want to go with me to see Uncle Jensen and Jared?" he asked her. Charlie looked up at me with a huge smile on her face. "Can I momma?" she asked excitedly. I sighed but nodded my head.

"You can, but be good and listen to Cliff. Stay close to him, there's a lot of people out there," I said. She gave me a kiss on the hand before letting go and going to Cliff. He lifted her up and put her on his shoulders. "Alright, kiddo. Let's go, I want you to tell me when you see Jensen and Jared, okay?" she giggled and patted his bald head before they both went out the door.

I chuckled and shook my head before placing my bottle of water out on the table. Since I had a free minute I decided to go out on the floor, knowing that I could move a little faster without Charlie. Maybe I could dip in on a panel real quick, or find Rob to catch up with him. I checked my hair in a mirror as I walked past it before heading out a different door, hoping that it would take me the back way and I wouldn't have to deal with many fans.

This side was a little more quiet. There was a few fans, but it was mostly crew. I could hear the music from one of the panels going and eventually I found the backstage door. I showed my badge again and I was instantly let in. "Thank you," I told the stage hand as I walked through. Backstage wasn't lit by much.

I grabbed my phone and turned on the flashlight to make sure I didn't trip on anything. I could see a little bit of light from the front of the stage and I was hoping to be able to see from back here. Suddenly I was grabbed and pulled away into the darkness. I gasped as I raised my phone to see who it was.

"Jesus, turn that off would you," Jeff's rough voice said to me softly. I quickly turned off the light and tucked my phone in my pocket. "You scared me!" I told him while punching him lightly on the chest. He chuckled and his arms instantly came around me in a warm embrace. He pulled me into him.

I tucked myself into his chest and his chin came to rest on top of my head. "I was wondering when you guys would get here," he said. I sighed and breathed in his scent. "Yeah, sorry. It wasn't a good flight, we got delayed and missed our connecting flight," I told him. Jeffrey's hand ran through my hair.

"Where's Charlie?" he asked me. I pulled back. I could barely make out the outline of his face in the darkness. "She's with Cliff, going to check on Jensen and Jared. She wanted to see you first, but I think she got side tracked at the mention of them," I said. Jeffrey chuckled and placed a light kiss on my forehead.

"What are you doing back here?" he asked me. I shrugged. "I figured I had a few minutes to explore without Charlie. I was going to see who was on the panel and potentially catch Rob to say hi," I said. It was dark, but I could tell that Jeffrey's demeanor changed instantly. His arms left from around me and I instantly felt cold.

"Oh, well, he's out on stage right now, but I'm sure you figured that out," he said. He was right, I could hear Rob answering questions from the audience. "Sam and I are up next, kind of a parents of Supernatural Q&A panel. You should stay," he said. I shook my head. "I should actually go check on Charlie and make sure she's not giving Cliff a hard time. I didn't mean to have him play babysitter," I said.

Jeffrey pulled his phone out of his pocket and it lit up finally showing his face as he pressed a few buttons. "It looks like she's actually with Jensen and Jared. I don't know if Cliff stayed with them or not," he said showing me a picture of Jensen, Jared, Charlie together at one of their tables.

"I'll go get her and we'll catch up with you later," I said to him. He didn't look up at me and continued to stare at his phone. "Hey J.D." I said softly and he looked up at me. "Hm?" I could barely hear his voice above the music now playing on stage. "You look good," I said as I leaned forward and placed a kiss on his rough cheek.

I turned and walked out the door before he even had a chance to do or say anything. The lights in the hallway were bright causing me to shield my eyes for a second before heading back towards the chaos. I could see a ton of fans walking about. I assumed that the panel was letting out.

"Ronnie Jean!" I heard someone call out. I turned around to see Rob jogging down the hallway to catch up with me. "Hey Rob-o!" I said as he embraced me in a tight hug. It didn't feel the same as Jeffrey's. Rob was the same heighth as me and there was something about feeling so much smaller to Jeffrey that I liked when he gave me a hug.

"Everyone was wondering when you were going to get here," he said as we pulled back and continued to walk down the hallway. "That's what I hear, long flight, it was delayed. We missed our connection," I said as we made our way back into the green room. "Mommy!" Charlie's small frame ran into me.

"Hi baby! Did you find Uncle Jensen and Jared?" I asked her. She nodded and pointed across the room, where I saw the two long legged men sitting on the couch taking a break. I made my way across the room and stood in front of the two tired men. "Well don't just sit there," I said sarcastically.

They both chuckled and moved their arms so I could plop down in their laps. "Ello boys," they both groaned as they attacked me with hugs from both sides. "We were wondering where you and Charlie were," Jensen said. I rolled my eyes feeling like that was the only question I had answered today.

"Long flight, missed our connection, we got here late and I wanted Charlie to get some rest so she wasn't grouchy when she saw her favorite people," I said as I scooted over to the empty seat beside Jensen. Charlie came up and crawled in Jensen's lap. Jensen wrapped his arms around Charlie and pulled her close.

"We're actually about to join Jeff and Sam on stage for a family panel. You guys want to join us?" Jared asked. I looked over at Charlie whose eyes lit up at the mention of her dad. "Sure, we'll take our assigned seats in the audience, so Charlie can see better," I said as we all got up off the couch.

Jensen, Jared, and Rob followed Cliff out one door, while Charlie and I went out the other to be able to get to the main entrance of the auditorium where the panel was being held. I grabbed Charlie's hand as we walked through the crowd. They all seemed to be heading towards the same place.

This was most likely the biggest panel of the day, with the four main actors from Supernatural. I showed our badges to security and they lead us to two seats towards the front of the auditorium. Charlie and I took a seat just as Rob came on the stage. Charlie clapped excitedly and stood up on her chair to be able to see Rob over all the people that were standing in front of her.

Rob sang and danced around the stage and just as the ending of the song came along out popped Jensen and Jared. They played the air guitar and drums as Rob wrapped up the song before all of them took a jump split together and ended it just as the last note of the song hit. The crowd cheered wildly.

Charlie clapped and giggled as she watched some of her favorite people smile and wave to the crowd. We all sat down along with Jared and Jensen. There was a couple empty chairs beside them that I assumed were for Jeffrey and Sam. I was wondering where they were. Jensen pulled a microphone up to his mouth.

"How's it going Seattle?!" he called out. The crowd cheered loudly again. Jared turned his chair around backwards so that he could straddle it. "Can you not be so close to me, you are dripping with sweat!" Jensen said sarcastically to Jared. The crowd laughed as Jared scooted closer to Jensen.

"Hey J, I think we're missing some people," Jared said into his microphone. The crowd cheered again. "Maybe we should bring them out?" Jensen asked. The crowd erupted and got on their feet again. Charlie jumped up in her chair and I got up with her. She clutched onto my arm for support as she tried to stand on her tiptoes to see over everybody's heads.

"Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Samantha Smith, ladies and gentlemen!" Jensen and Jared yelled into their microphones. Music blasted through the speakers again and the back curtains opened. Outstepped Jeff and Sam, holding hands. The crowd clapped and cheered as Jeffrey kissed her on the cheek before they broke apart and took their seats beside the boys.

"What's up?" Jeff called into his microphone as soon as everyone started sitting down. "Mommy! Mommy, look!" Charlie said excitedly while pointing towards the stage at Jeffrey. "Yes, I know, baby," I said as we sat back down and I tried to quiet her. Some fans turned and looked at us with small smiles as I mumbled a sorry.

"But mommy," Charlie huffed as we sat in our seats and she had her grumpy face on. "What's wrong?" I asked her. She crossed her arms and frowned. "I can't see. I'm too small," she said. I chuckled and lifted her out of the seat. I placed her in the aisle standing up. There was no one in fornt of her now.

"Better?" I asked her. She nodded with her eyes glued to the stage. Jared smiled and waved at her. Charlie giggled and shyly waved back. Fans started asking questions, but Charlie's eyes stayed trained on Jeffrey's. He wasn't paying attention to her at all. He was looking and engaging with the fans.

Charlie waved at him, but he didn't see. She huffed and crossed her arms as she frowned. I patted her back and smiled at her trying to tell her it was okay, but her frowned deepened. Jeffrey's eyes shifted directions and he caught mine. He smiled and I nodded my hair towards Charlie.

His eyes shifted and instantly saddened when he saw Charlie's face. I nudged her and made her look up. She smiled softly as soon as she saw him. "Time out," Jeffrey said into his microphone as he held his arms out towards Charlie. She looked over at me and I smiled encouraging her to go.

She walked forward to the end of the stage and Jeffrey got off his chair and reached down to grab her. The audience all aww'd. I heard a few camera clicks as well. Oh, girls and their celebrity crushes. They seemed to love it when they held babies or small children. If they only knew.

"Hi princess," Jeffrey said into the microphone as Charlie sat comfortably on his lap. "Why don't you tell everyone your name?" he asked her while holding the microphone out to her. Charlie smiled and leaned her head against Jeffrey's shoulder which caused everyone in the audience to aww again.

"Come on, sweetheart. Don't be shy," he said while directing the microphone back at Charlie. She leaned forward and spoke very loudly not realising that the microphone helped project her voice. "My name is Charlie! This is my daddy! He's on T.V!" she squealed. Fans gasped, Jeffrey's eyes grew wide. Jensen's microphone dropped to the ground and Jared gave this huge shocked look.

I stood up, not even thinking and made my way towards the stage. I lifted my arms up to reach for Charlie so Jeffrey could hand her back to me, but before I knew it Jared and Jensen had hoisted me onto the stage. Charlie was passed to me blindly as Jeffrey placed a hand on my lower back and pushed me towards the back of the stage.

Cliff came out of nowhere with a shocked look as well. Fans started chattering probably not knowing what was going on. Who was I? Who was Charlie? "Make sure they get back to the green room safely and make sure no one talks to them or gets pictures of them, do you understand me?" Jeffrey asked. Cliff nodded.

I turned and looked at Jeffrey. I could tell he was trying to keep a straight face, but his eyes told a different story. I'm sure mine mirrored his. Charlie was sitting on my hip with not a clue in the world what she had just done. I could see Jensen and Jared trying to control the audience and get back on topic but I'm sure that was long gone by now.

"Jeffrey, what do we do?" I asked him. He ran a hand through his hair and shook his head. "I don't know, shit..I don't know," he said instantly patting at his pockets. "You can't smoke here," I told him trying to put a comforting hand on his chest. Rob came running to the backstage and looked at us worried.

"Guys, we got them back on topic, fans have calmed down, but Jeffrey if you don't get back out there, people are going to start talking," Rob said. Jeffrey rolled his eyes. "They already are, the world is nothing but camera phones, this is most likely already uploaded to the internet," he said as he turned back towards the stage.

"Cliff, get them to the green room, we'll be there soon," he said as he started walking back towards the stage. "I'll go with you," Rob said. Jeffrey's large hand reached out and steered Rob towards the stage. "No, you won't. You're needed here," Jeffrey said before pulling Rob back out on stage with him.

The crowd cheered, but definitely not as loud as earlier. I turned and looked at Cliff. His face had relaxed but not by much. "Alright, ladies, let's get you back to the green room before things get hectic. Stay right behind me, we need to go unnoticed," he said. I pulled Charlie tight to me and followed closely behind Cliff as we made our way back to the green room.
