Then
"Do you ever wonder what the world would be like if everyone was the same?" I asked out loud. Jeffrey and I were laying on top of the picnic table with our heads right next to each other's. "I think the world would be a very boring place if that was the case," he said.
I nodded agreeing with him. "It would be, but at least it would be predictable and we would know what was about to happen," I said. Jeffrey hummed. "Is that what you want? A predictable life?" he asked. I shook my head. "No, but sometimes it makes me wonder if we knew what was about to happen next, if life would be easier," I said looking at the stars.
"I hate to break it to you, doll. But life isn't supposed to be simple," he said. I sighed. "Isn't that the truth," I said. Jeffrey's arms were stretched out above his head. I grabbed his arm to look at his watch. "It's getting late," I said. Jeffrey yawned.
"I know," he said not making an effort to move. I sat up and looked down at him. "We should head home," I said. Jeffrey sat up. "I know," he said again. I started noticing how close he was to me. "I have to work tomorrow," I said. Jeffrey smiled.
"I know," he said. Before I even knew what was happening Jeffrey leaned in and his lips connected to mine. They were soft and a little bit chapped, but it was perfect. His hand came up and cupped my cheek lightly. His thumb ran back and forth gently.
He pulled back much too early for my liking. "Wow," I breathed just as Jeffrey leaned in again for a shorter kiss. I grabbed his shirt in my hand and pulled him closer. My other hand ran through his hair. I pulled back trying to clear all of the thoughts out of my head.
Jeffrey's forehead leaned against mine as his eyes connected with mine. There was a content smile on his face. "Do you need a ride?" I asked him noticing that my car was the only one out here. He shook his head. "No, that's alright. I like the night air," he said.
I nodded as I jumped down from the picnic table. Jeffrey was right behind me as we walked towards my car. His hand ran through his hair as he leaned against the hood of my car. "Well, I guess I'll see you later," I said as I opened my car door. Jeffrey pushed himself off the hood of my car. "I hope so," he said before walking away dribbling his basketball.

Now
*Jeffrey's POV*
I was sitting in the green room. It was the last day of Comic Con. Ronnie and I got back to the hotel around two this morning and due to the conversation last night I couldn't fall asleep. I laid in bed the rest of the night until the sun broke the horizon.
I'd be lying if I said I didn't drink last night, I figured it would help but it just made me more angry at Ronnie. I lit what felt like my millionth cigarette this morning. I had yet to see Ronnie this morning. I wondered if they had went home this morning.
I blew out the cigarette smoke before reaching into my jacket pocket. I pulled out the picture Ronnie gave me last night, I ran my thumb over the picture, Charlotte....Charlie. She was the perfect combination of Ronnie and me. The door to the green room busted open.
"Jeff, where have you been hiding? The fans are asking about you!" it was Jensen. I didn't bother looking at him as I puffed on my cigarette blowing out another cloud of smoke. I could hear the footsteps and soon a slight shadow was cast over me.
"Oh," he breathed. What was that supposed to mean, I wondered. I stamped out my cigarette. "She finally told you," he said. My eyes narrowed into slits. He knew. I stood up abruptly and turned to face him. "You knew?!" I asked. The anger was clearly laced in my voice.
Jensen swallowed hard but nodded. He was lucky the couch was between us. "You knew and you didn't tell me!" I said while pointing at him. Jensen slowly walked around the couch. "Look, Jeff. I've tried talking to her several times about this. I told her that she needed to tell you. So did Jared and Rob. It wasn't out secret to tell," Jensen said.
I looked around to see that Jared and Rob were both staring at me now. "All three of you knew and none of you guys said a word!" I said. Jared stepped forward. "Jeff, we-" but I cut him off. "No! I thought we were friends!" I said. Jensen stepped forward and placed a hand on my shoulder.
I shoved him off. "Don't touch me!" I said before stalking past him. I noticed everybody's eyes on me. I needed out of here. I saw our show manager and I pulled her to the side. "Look, I'm gonna need an hour or so. I need to go cool off. I don't want to take this out on the floor," I said.
She nodded and I squeezed her arm before retreating. Just as I was about to head out the door, it opened. My hazel eyes locked with a set of familiar brown ones. I sighed and shook my head before walking right past her without saying a word. I pulled my hat down low hoping that none of the fans would notice as I made my way through the crowd and finally made it to the elevator.
I hit the button to my floor and patted my pockets looking for my cigarettes. The doors opened and I got off and went straight to my room. Once the door to my room was shut I leaned against it with a heavy sigh and a slight sense of relief as I lit up another cigarette.

*Ronnie's POV*
I watched the door that Jeffrey stormed out of slam shut. Brittany and I looked at each other with confusion. Everyone's eyes were on us as we walked to where Jared, Jensen, and Rob were sitting together. "What happened?" Brittany asked as she sat down.
Jensen had his head in his hands. I wrapped my arm around his shoulders. "You finally told him, huh?" Jared asked. I slowly nodded. "Yeah, we grabbed some burgers and went to the park. We both apologized to each other for the night on the farm," I said keeping it simple.
"Then what happened?" Brittany asked. Of course she had to keep it going. "He said we had matured and grown over the years and that the two of us needed to start over. Whether he meant together or just friends I don't know. That's when I decided to lay it on him," I said.
"How'd he take it?" Rob asked. I gave him a pointed stare. "How do you think it went?" I asked rhetorically. "He was pissed?" Jensen asked. I nodded. "Rightfully so," Brittany said. I rolled my eyes. "I feel bad y'all," I said. Jensen reached over and squeezed my knee.
"Look, what's done is done. The ball is in his court now," Jared said. I nodded. "I know, but now that it's all out there I'm feeling really guilty now," I said. Jensen squeezed my knee again. "At least it's out there now," Jensen said. I nodded. "I'm just really wishing I would've told him from the beginning," four sets of eyes looked at me.
I glared at all of them. "Don't say it. Any of you. I know you've been telling it for the past five years!" they all gave me weak smiles. I rubbed Jensen's shoulders. "Look I can try and talk to him before we leave," I said. Jared shook his head. "I don't thin that's a good idea. He seems pretty upset," Jared said.
Brittany reached over and nudged me lightly. "For a change I'm actually gonna agree with Jared. He needs to sit and stew on this for a while. You finally did the right thing," Brittany said. I rolled my eyes. "Fine," I said. Rob stood up. "I know you're heading out soon! I'll tell you goodbye now," he said while giving me a hug which I gladly returned.
He gave Brittany a hug as well before heading back out to be with the fans. I stood up along with Brittany. "We're already packed up y'all. As much as we wante to stay, I think that was our cue to leave," I said referring to Jeffrey storming out. Both of the boys nodded.
Jared went to hug me first while Jensen went to Brittany. "If you need anything don't hesitate to call me. Things are about to get better," Jared said. I nodded as I pulled back. "Switch!" Brittany and I said at the same time. Jensen made his way to me and wrapped me in a hug.
"What Jared said. We love you. You did the right thing," he said. I chuckled. Suddenly Jensen pulled me closer. "He's in room 312," he said. He pulled back and we both stared at each other with a knowing gaze. I nodded. "Until next time, boys," I said.
"Squirrel, Moose," Brittany said causing all of us to chuckle before Brittany and I made our way out the door. The noise of the fans hit us like a brick wall. We made our way to the elevator and hit the button to our floor. "I know I don't say it very often but I am proud of you," Brittany said as we reached our room.
I nodded but stayed quiet. "Are you alright?" she asked as we grabbed our bags. I quickly grabbed the complimentary pad of paper from the hotel and wrote one word across it. "Yeah, just remembering," I said as we walked out the door with our bags.
I folded the piece of paper in my hand as we stepped on to the elevator. Brittany hit the ground button. I quickly reached forward and hit floor three's button without even thinking. Brittany turned to me with confusion on her face. "Where are you going?" she asked as I stepped off the elevator.
"Just a second!" I called back while walking down the hall. I looked back to see Brittany holding elevator door. 309....310......311.....312. I sighed as my fingers reached up and traced over the numbers. I didn't even know if he was in there. Should I knock?
I bit my lip as I ran my hand through my hair. I didn't bother knocking before bending down and sliding the paper under the door. I walked back to Brittany and joined her in the elevator again to ride to the ground floor. "What was that?" she asked as we rode the elevator.
I shrugged. "Just something," I said. I didn't even know if he would get it. He would probably think it was a crazy fan who found out his room number and throw it away. "Do you feel better?" Brittany asked as we stepped off the elevator and made our way through the lobby. The fans were slowly filtering out as it was the last day of the con.
We made our way to the car and loaded our bags in the trunk. "Are we ready to get out of here?" Brittany asked and I nodded. She made her way to the driver side as I made my way to the passenger side. I turned around and looked at the hotel. I didn't want to leave but I knew I had too.
It was time to get home to Charlie. "Hey," Brittany said while rolling down the window. I turned to her. "Let's go," she said. I sighed and opened the door. Settling into the passenger seat I got comfortable as Brittany took off fown the road leaving the hotel in the rearview mirror.

*Jeffrey's POV*
After a long day of dealing with fans and drama it was time to retire to my hotel room for the night. I ignored Jared and Jensen all day still trying to get over the secret that had hid from me. I stepped into the elevator and sighed as I leaned against the wall.
I was exhausted and today's events didn't help. The elevator doors opened and I stepped off grabbing the key card out of my pocket. All I wanted was a drink, a smoke, and to sleep. I was going to save my packing until the morning. I opened the door and stepped inside.
My foot instantly came in contact with something. I looked down to see a folded piece of paper on the floor. Confused, I picked it up and set it on the counter before walking over to the mini bar and making myself a drink. I took a sip of it before sitting it beside the paper.
I stripped off my clothes and lit a cigarette before grabbing my drink. My eyes caught the paper and I wondered who it was from. I put the cigarette between my lips and grabbed the paper before settling into bed. I grabbed my glasses from the nightstand and slipped them low on my nose while putting my cigarette in the ash tray. I downed the rest of my drink and sat the empty glass on the table. I unfolded the paper and saw one word written across it in familiar handwriting.
Faithfully...
