Merlin was down at the river for another 10 or so minutes and when he came back the group, they were acting even stranger than when he'd left.

The Knights watched merlin a minute after he came back from the river and after a minute, Percival, Leon and Elyan returned their gazes to the ground before their feet. Gwaine, Lancelot and Arthur were the only ones that kept their eyes on Merlin, Merlin raised an eyebrow but struggled it off about a minute later, nodding weakly and saying silent,

"Ok then.." Merlin turned his back to the Knights as he finished tying his neckerchief around his neck. Unknown to Merlin, all the Knights were still watching him, but now they couldn't look at their friend without seeing how skinny he actually is, how his ribs stick out skeletal like, the way scars stuck out on ever part of Merlins skin, the paled purple, the faded red and the oaken brown were disrupting the pale canvas of Merlins body.

They understood why Merlin wore clothes were always a little baggy, a size too big. Why he rarely didn't show skin, why when ever the group went on camping trips, if it was a short trip, Merlin didn't bathe and if it was a longer trip, why Merlin didn't bathe with the others. He'd always go off on his own and take a quick bath, quick enough that half the time, no one would notice he was missing until after he'd come back from the river.

The image of Merlins body, skeletal and littered with scars of every kind was burning into the groups mind and merlin was none the wiser.

Merlin finished tying his neckerchief and looked at the Knights, whom were now swallowed by their thoughts, a dulled look in all their eyes, even Leon. He sighed and grabbed a piece of metal, slamming it into the medium sized pot used for food, this harshly startled everyone out of their thoughts and earning a quick glare from Arthur before the blonde asked,

"What?!" Merlin narrowed his eyes and mumbled,

"So you lot aren't enchanted again.." All the Knights heads shot up at that, again?! Gwaine looked at the servant before standing and asking,

"Again?!" Merlin raised an eyebrow before straightening and saying quietly, his eyes searching and watching all of the Knights,

"Oh yeah.. you lot don't remember what happened.. You don't remember anything that happened when you were enchanted by the Lamia.. do you?" Everyone but Arthur nodded weakly, saying silently that 'no, they didn't remember anything.' Merlins eyebrows shot upwards and his face paled slightly, before he stuttered,

"That th-that's good, g-good. Good. You lot w-wouldn't want to remember it anyway, believe me. E-excuse me a moment." Before anyone could say a word, the painfully pale servant tore off from the camp, the Knights watching as the boy disappeared behind a large tree. Lancelot and the others watched as Merlin disappeared, his back tense and bow like, as if he were forcing his mind to remain pointedly on keeping the slim servant from collapsing.

Gwaine finally broke the silence with a tense statement,

"I think... We might have to check his journal again."

Sorry for the kind of short chapter guys! Thanks for the love! I've been having a huge writing burst on this story and another draft story that I'm pretty sure a lot of people will enjoy, sorry about the other stories I've published, writing block on those ones. Sorry. :(
