*Paisley's POV*

The first thing I noticed when I stepped out of the car the following Monday morning was the stares. Everybody was staring at me.

I frowned and uncomfortablely fidgeted with my shirt as my eyes scanned across the parking lot, noticing how every single person had there gaze on me. Now Im used to people staring at me because I am a future alpha and such but this was different.

They weren't staring at me in awe and respect, no they were staring at me in disbelief. I felt a hand on my shoulder and jumped, turning my head I saw that Seth and Lela were at my side giving me questioning looks.

"Care to explain why everybody is staring at you?" Lela asked. I sighed quietly and ran a hand through my perfectly curled hair.

"I would if I knew." Came my simple answer a moment later. After a few more seconds of standing awkwardly next to Seths car the three of us quickly made are way inside the building and to my locker.

I tried my best to ignore the people who were openly staring at me but as I got to my locker I was beginning to get a bit annoyed. Opening the locker I began to shuffle through my books and papers, stuffing what I needed in my bag, when I suddenly felt a presence behind me.

My wolf let out a howl and a small smile made its way onto my face when I realized who it was. Turning around my smile widened even more when I saw Xander standing in front of me.

I scanned my eyes up and down his body and bit my lip. He was dressed in dark wash jeans with a red plaid shirt that was unbuttoned over a white wife beater. His dark hair was messy and his caramel colored eyes sparkled, my eyes dropped down to his lips which were pulled into a cocky smirk.

"Hey babe, ya done staring yet?" His deep voice brought me out of my trance and my eyes immediately snapped up to his. A small blush crawled onto my cheeks when I saw the amusement in his eyes and I quickly looked away, busying myself with my papers once again.

I had forgotten the stares of my classmates up until now but when I did once again notice I realized that they were not only staring but also whispering. I sighed, closed my locker and turned to face my mate.

"Do you know why everybody is staring at me?" I questioned immediately. Xander frowned for a moment before putting on a passave face.

"Yeah." He answered with a shrug. I was waiting for him to continue but when he didn't I raised my eyebrows and motioned for him to go on. He sighed and ran a hand through his hair.

"They know were mates." Xander muttered. My eyes widened when I processed what he said. Everybody now knows were mates. My mouth popped open and I stared at him in disbelief. Thinking about it now I should have known that the word would spread quickly because not only did I admit it to my pack mates but so did Xander.

Everything made sense now, people were staring because they couldn't believe that were mates. Looking back up at him I saw that Xander was staring at me with a hard look on his face. I felt my heart drop when a thought crossed my mind, is Xander angry that people know.

I mean it doesn't really make sense that he would be because he admitted it at the beach but maybe he didn't mean for other people to hear because looking at him right now he doesn't seem very happy about it.

As the thought was running through my head a from apperead on my face as I nervously clasped my hands together in front of me. Xander was still staring down at me with the same hard look on his face and it was making me nervous. Sighing I looked down at my feet.

"Im sorry." The words came out in a whisper and I was beginning to think that he hadn't heard them when there was suddenly two large hands cupping my cheeks, bringing my head upwards.

Xander was staring down at me with a frown and I could see the slightest bit of hurt in his eyes.

"Why are you sorry?" He questioned softly as he gazed deeply into my eyes. I furrowed my eyebrows and tried to pull away from him but his grip was tight to I settle for dropping my eyes to the ground.

"Because you obviously didn't want anybody to know." I muttered back. Xander was silent for a moment before he let out a loud snort causing my eyes to snap up to his face. His lips were pulled up into a tender smile and amusement was present in his beautiful eyes.

"I didn't want anybody to know? Angel I don't care if people know, hell I want everybody to know. I want them to know that Im the luckiest guy out there because your mine." Xander answered and his words ached with truth and sweetness.

A warm feeling started spreading through my chest as my heart pounded against my rib cage. A huge smile apperead on my lips before I stood on my tippy toes and planted my lips on Xanders. The kiss was short and sweet and after a few seconds I pulled away.

Xander was staring down at me with a grin on his perfect lips and I couldn't help but to laugh at his next words.

"Maybe I should start being romantic more often if your going to kiss me like that everytime." He said with a cheeky grin on his face. I laughed and gently slapped his chest. Xander had just began to lower his head down to mine, surely to steal another kiss, when somebody cleared there throat.

My head eyes snapped away from Xander and to the right where my three best friends stood. Seth was standing with his arms crossed over his chest and a scowl on his face while Lela and Perrie wore huge grins and were practically bouncing up and down.

A burning hot blush made its way onto my face when I realized that they all had just witnessed mine and Xanders intimate moment. I let out a groan and buried my head into Xanders chest. I felt the silent laughter that was vibrating through his body as my head head moved with every laugh.

Sighing I pulled away from Xander and looked back to my friends. The two girls still looked like they were about to burst with excitement but what worried me was that the angry look on Seths face hadn't disappeared.

"What's wrong Seth?" I asked with a frown. Seths eyes glanced down at me and I saw them soften the slightest bit.

"Nothing Pais. Can I have a word with you Xander?" Seth answered. So that's what's wrong with him. Since Im an only child as we were growing up Seth kind of took on the over protective older brother job. Any boy that ever took even the slightest interest in me Seth had run off, it was annoying at first but I eventually got over it.

Seth was about to give Xander 'the talk' that he has given to every boy who has ever who liked me and it worried me a bit because like I said Seth has run off every boy he has given it to.

Xander looked surprised at first before he nodded his head.

"Yeah sure man." He answered coolly. Seth nodded his head and motioned for Xander to follow him. Xander smiled down at me before following Seth to wherever he was going. I watched suspiciously as they both rounded the corner before turning back to the girls.

Lela had a smirk on her face and Perrie looked a bit worried.

"Seths giving him the talk." Lela laughed as she tucked a strand of red hair behind her ear. My lips formed into a pout and I frowned.

"What talk?" Perrie questioned looking confused. I sighed and began to explain to her.

"You see anytime that a boy asks me out Seth has a talk with them that always sends them running for the hills." I said with a huff. Perrie let out a small laugh before her eyes lit up.

"That moment that you two had a few minutes ago was absolutely adorable!" Perrie gushed. The stupid blush made its way back onto my face and I looked down at the ground.

"Shut up." I muttered.

For the next five minutes I had to listen to the girls go on and on about how cute Xander and I were and I knew that they did it just because they liked to see me blush but finally I spotted Seth rounding the corner.

I held my breath as I waited to see if Xander was with him and a large smile made its way into my face as I saw my mate round the corner right after my cousin. Xander walked straight up to me and planted his lips firmly on mine. I was frozen for a moment before my lips started moving against his.

Xander pulled away from me after a little while and I looked up at him questioningly but he simply smiled tenderly down at me. I smiled back before glancing over his shoulder and making eye contact with Seth.

To my surprise Seth had a large grin on his face and his eyes were filled with approval. I grinned and turned back to the perfect man in front of me, Seth approved of Xander and I couldn't be happier about it.
