So, a while ago, while announcing the closure of Season 1, I mentioned that I would edit every moveset in said season to fit a new format, then use said format for every moveset in Season 2 and onwards. That is, if I managed to come up with a better format for it.

...And so I did.

Allow me to explain this new system.

- The Numpad Notation System
See that thing up there? That thing with the arrows and numbers? That's the Numpad Notation System, a system widely used in the fighting game community when writing character guides, combo guides, etc. It's based on the keys on a numerical pad, with 5 being the center (standing) and all keys surrounding it being different directions.

For instance, to say "Forward Heavy", I could write it down as 6H, as 6 in this system is forward and H is Heavy. A quarter-circle forward light motion (down, down-forward, forward + light) can be written down as 236L.

This system assumes your character is facing right. If you're facing left, then 6 becomes 4, 3 becomes 1, and viceversa, etc etc.

- Light, Medium and Heavy
I decided to go with 3 attack buttons instead of the usual 6, both to simplify things, and to further develop the "neutrals" aspect of a moveset.

Each of these inputs has a forward (6) variation, air variation (while in mid-air), and down (2) variation. The Heavy input also has a down-forward (3) variation.

But wait, what about that purple button there? Well, about that...

- P O W E R

This button is linked to your character's unique gameplay trait, used to trigger a specific effect. For example, the Spirit's Soul Pursuit move uses this button, Cytex's Feral Form uses this button to switch between Normal and Feral forms, Colleen's Cleanse move uses this button, etc.
This button may also have directional variations.

I'll start editing each Season 1 moveset to use this format, as I work on the Season 2 movesets.
