26. The I'm so Ugly I Should Just Die cliche

It was slightly inspired by the book 'Wattpad Cliches' by Theallmightypeter Check it out, I swear you'll die laughing.

There's this new thing on Wattpad called a cast list which I haven't used. Honestly, I just don't know any celebrities that would match my characters.

Okay, now I sound like a grandma.

Point is, maybe the MC is portrayed by Selena Gomez or Taylor Swift or Lucy Hale or you know, those pretty people I don't care to know the names of.

Still she's all 'Man, I'm so fat and have pimples. No guy will ever love me!!! I'm doomed to die alone?!!!' and then, BAM! The most hottest, richest, baddest boy in her school is all, 'Hey there, beautiful. I'm Harry Styles.

...I can't even.

I don't like using casts, because I feel it kind of ruins the whole point of imagination. But some readers and writers feel it's awesome that you can imagine the whole story like a movie and I totally understand it. But it just isn't for me.

...And yes, I don't know how to put up a cast list either.

So anyways, I was reading Follow Me Back a while ago and I noticed something -

How come all the three MOST famous stories of all time on Wattpad the same name 'Tessa' for their main character?!

1. The Bad Boy's Girl (Tessa and Cole)

Man I love this story. No matter how cliche it is, I still do. Mainly because it was my first story on Wattpad and it was the 'it' story that actually started all those 'Badboy' and 'Goodgirl' cliches. So in fact, this story was completely and utterly original and then the rest became cliches.

2. The After Series. (Tessa and Harry)

I don't really know how I feel about this book...Good I guess? Well because if I said what I really feel about this book, the after fans will murder me.  😅😅

3. Follow Me Back (Tessa and Eric)

This book is amazing and needs so MUCH MUCH MUCH more attention than it has. Over 100M reads is a must for this book!

So all these Tessas...is it a coincidence? Or...?

Again, I think this is really short too but actually I'm running out of ideas! Quick! Suggest some great ones!
