A/N: When I wrote this story for the Open Novella Contest, it had a different ending. One that I wasn't satisfied with. So, I took it down and began rewriting, which resulted in me creating two endings. Ultimately I chose the one that is there right now, but then the other ending just kind of sat there... All alone. Sad face.

So, I decided to post the alternate ending as bonus chapters.

This ending leads directly into Water in a Time Thirst, and is the reason I didn't choose it before. I wanted to keep The Water Witcher as a standalone. But, for those who go on to read Water in a Time of Thirst, this might be a better ending for you.
