We all stand up and get out weapons ready and loaded. I pull out my mag which i had painted a white skull on myself. totally not because i thought it was cool. "Nerrrrd" Naomi says getting a closer look at my mag. 

"Yes i know, thank you." I say and I gently turn her around to face the door of the ship. this trip is gonna be a little weird for me i guess. its the first time i have not gone into an unkown area without Rune. I should have brought him.

"2 minutes till touchdown" I hear a loud voice boom over the speakers as he back door gently glided down showing the dark landscape. I could hear a gasp escape from Naomi. The landscape was black, it was completely burnt to a crisp. i could see little village building scatter the land, all of them burnt or burning. It was like this for as far as i could see. the shit came to a slow hover and we all hopped off and took a knee surveying the area as the ship lifted back up and headed back to base with a roar.

We all looked around in silence carefully observing each building for any signs of movement. "Sir. what should we do know." Sixer says looking back at me. 

"Lets move closer to the square of the town and figure out whats going on." We all stood up and I motioned them all to follow behind me. Naomi rushing to get right beside me while the others follow behind. As we approached the other bigger mass of building, i felt somthing soft land against my cheek. i reach up a wipe my cheek and look down at my glove to notice ash. I look up and notice it was snowing, Snowing ash. I pulled my goggles down off from the top of my hat and put them over my eyes. "This is weird, its not normal for this to happen."

"Unless there is a volcanic eruption." Sixer says from behind me.

"Do you see a volcano?"

"Good point." We continue on in silence, as we get about 100 meters from the close net buildings i Notice a couple body like figures barely poking out from beside a building. "I think i see someone." Sixer says patting my shoulder then pointing right at another figure even closer. it was a woman in the door frame of a building less then 40 meters away. "Sixer go check on that girl, we will provide over-watch." 

"Yes, Sir." Sixer says braking of from our formation and slowly made his way towards the woman. 

"Mother of god, Sir get over here." Sixer says in a panic once he reaches her. i can see him looking a her in detail. as i get closer i notice it wasn't a person. Or at least, it was a person. She was entirely made of ash. I get beside Sixer and look closer. "Theres some serious detail in this. Sixer investigate the building." 

"You got it." he says as he brushed passed the ash statue. as he bumped into it entering the building it completely fall into an ash pile on the floor. "Boss your gonna want to see this too." I enter the building and notice even more statues facing the door, each of them with horrified faces, like they were afraid of us entering the building. "These were definitely people at one point. but what happened to them." i say and i notice Naomi standing beside me. "Looks like these people need some lotion or somthing." 

"Really sixer?" 

"C'mon it was funny and you know it." He says as we all walk back out of the building. We all walk out and head back towards the squar, noticing more and more ash statues as we get closer. We walk through the gate entrance, into the square. there about a hundred ash statues around a crater right in the center on the square. "My god th-this is horrible." Naomi says as we get closer to the center
