Again sorry for all the super late updates, this past week or so has been pretty hectic so I finally got enough put down to publish, so here it is.

      With the tremendous amount of pain surging through my body I manage to push myself back onto my feet. I reach for my m16 to find it gone and i notice it on the ground inside the building, along with my sniper. I look back at the beast who is now just staring at me, still growling and ready to tear me apart. I reach down into the pocket on my leg and pull out my Tanto tactical knife and ready it backwards in my hand. Again the beast vanished, about to attack. I quickly duck barely missing the large claw swiping above my head and I spin around plunging my knife into the beasts leg. Immediately a loud screeching howl came from the creature as I am thrown back.

        With the knife still in the beast's leg I throw a punch upwards into its jaw sending it back as I pull the knife out. I get back to my feet and look to the creature crawling on the ground whimpering. its leg was gushing black blood onto the sand, before it could reach me it passed out and its head slumped into the sand.

"well, that wasn't enough to kill it, but it sure it knocked out good." I walk to the building and retrieve my m16, and pull my sniper back over my shoulder and onto my back.

       I walk back to the beast and stand over it. I pull up the m16 and fire 12 more rounds into the top of its skull. the black blood spews all over my rifle and i jump back, trying to avoid that.

"Thats just great, now I'm going to need to clean my gun too." I say turning back to the building. now, where did that girl go, and Rune. I walk back to the building trying to ignore the increasing pain through my body. I turn the corner to find the girl on the ground against the building with Rune laying beside her. they both looked fine, probably just panicked. I walk over to the girl and shake her awake and i do the same with Rune.

"so... what was that, thing." she says sitting up against the wooden shack.

"I have no idea, but I think its dead." just as i Finnish saying that the un-natural darkness surrounding the building faded, revealing the bright setting sun.

        I lift my arm in front of my eyes to shield myself from the bright sudden light. "Whatever it was, It definitely was not natural, it created darkness to mask itself inside this building." I say as we all get to our feet and move into the building. The old wooden furniture was lightly covered in sleet. It even created snow, in this kind of heat, thats definitely abnormal. I take a seat in one of the 2 remaining chairs.

"so, how bad is my wound?" I say turning to the girl.

       she stand up and looks at my back, and gently poking at it.

"well good new is its not as bad as it feels" she says still poking at it.

"well thats good... so, whats your name anyway?"

"oh, my name is alpha"

"Alpha? what kind of name was that?"

"Im not sure, its just was I've been called for along as I can remember."

"hm. Im just going to call you Naomi."

"why Naomi?" she says as she returns to her seat and looks at me, clearly confused."

"it just seems like the kind of person you would meet in a dark ally wearing a hood." I say sarcastically.

       Naomi lets out a light chuckle then pulls a small sleeping bad out of her backpack and lays it on the ground, and gets comfy inside it. I stand up and place my sniper onto the table along with my m16, and my backpack. just as I open the backpack to retrieve my sleeping bag i notice a light blue white glow outside. I turn towards the window and look outside to notice a light glow coming from the beats dead body laying on the ground.

"Great what is this thing doing now." i say as i pick up my m16 and begin to walk towards the glowing body.

        As I get to the body I notice that the glowing was coming through the beast's veins. its veins glowing a bright light blue and the light was gently pulsing. What in the world is it-. just as think that its body pulsed a lot brighter and blasts me backwards with a small explosion. I stand back up and cough out the black liquid blood that got into my mouth in the explosion. I look up and notice the body had turned into just bones and black mush just before my vision turns black and I fall over.

"hey, finally your waking up."

       I can't see much, my vision is a little blurry from the sudden light.

"What h-happened." I say weakly as I look around taking in the area.

     I am in a new building, a cleaner, nicer building. I look at who I presume was Naomi. But its not, it was tall blonde nurse standing beside me looking at a machine. the machine peeps at a constant rate. I go to sit up, but I cant move.

"you know, what you did sealed your fate, you should have left it alone."

"What are you talking about, where am I?"

"Well cant you tell. The future, go ahead and look at your arm."

     I slowly lift my left arm out from under the white sheet over my chest and see the mechanical hand, now replacing my entire left arm.

"What are you talking about! what is this, what happened to me!"

"you can wake up now."

     Just as she finishes I burst awake and find myself laying in the sand covered in black blood. I quickly sit up and look at my left arm and find my arm in contact and perfectly fine, accept the black blood covering it. I get to my feet and turn around to see Rune and Naomi running towards me. All of a sudden i feel a sharp pain in my right arm I lift up my arm and look at it to notice a blue-ish light pulsing through the veins in my arm. I look at my hand and notice a light blue swirl appearing on the palm of my hand. The swirl gets brighter and brighter until it blasts out a shard from the swirl into the building, pushing me backwards a little bit.

"What was that for! You almost hit me with that!" Naomi yells as she gets to me pushing my arm down.

"I-I dont know what that was, but it was pretty awesome! right?"

"Other than it almost hit me, yea it is, but we still don't know what that was."

     I look at my arm again and notice black marks along my arms, almost like tribal tattoos, leading to the swirl on my hand. The marks had turned black after the shard fired from the palm of my hand. I walk over to the shard thats now stuck into the wood on the building. The shard seeme dot be a black metal. I slide my finger along the sharp end on the bottom of the shard gently and pull my hand back quickly followed by a very shard pain.

I look at the cut to see it glow lightly and fade out leaving a red cut on my finger.

"I don't know what kind of materiel this is, but it definitely would to some serious damage if hit directly." I say as i carefully grip the shard and pull on it until it pops out of the wood. Just as it comes out of the wood it shatters and turns to dust and falling into the sand.
