I'M SO SORRY!!! I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT THIS BOOK!!!

Annabeth's PoV

"Now I guess it's time I start explaining things, isn't it?"

"Yes it is, so start talking," I let my annoyance with being here show.

"Well I'm Thaddeus Wages. My grandfather is an Egyptian Magician, and my grandmother is Hel, Norse goddess of the underworld. My father is Atlas. I-"

"I'm pretty sure Atlas is a little too busy holding the sky to have kids, unless you were born before he was cursed."

Thaddeus just laughed, "No, no, I'm not immortal. Like the gods Titans can exist in multiple places at once, so while most of his form is holding the sky, he still has the ability to have kids."

I nodded, "Okay, what does your parentage have to do with my kidnapping?"

He smiled, a genuine smile, "I need your help. You're an amazing strategist, I need someone like that on my side if I'm going to win the upcoming war. Oh and let's not forget the fact that you'll be helping my recruit new members..."

"And I'd help you because..."

"Because everyone who fights against me will die." I swear the temperature dropped twenty degrees when he said that.

"So? Why would that make me want to help you?"

"Because you could save your friends..." He let that hang in the air before saying, "You must be hungry, I'll have Calli take you to your room for lunch. CALLI!!!!"

Only moments Calli came scurrying into the room, "Yes, Br- Sir?" So that's their relationship, I knew they were close, but I wasn't sure how.

"Please take Ms. Chase to her room for lunch, I have something to do tonight."

"Yes Sir."

Alexia's PoV

WE NEED ANNABETH BACK!!!

Percy has been worried sick. Hazel and Frank have been trying, and failing, to calm him down. We're being attacked by monsters almost nonstop, and we have no plan of what to do now. She was the strategist, Carter and I just helped.

The worst part is we have no idea where she is. Percy can apparently see her of she's in the ocean, but she hasn't been. Leo is going to try to send her a holographic scroll, but I'm not sure how she'll get a chance to look at it, I don't even know if she's alive! This is really starting to suck.

Crash

Here we go again...I ran upstairs to find a creature that looked like a panther with wings.

"Gryphons," Percy muttered, "why do they always find us?"

Sadie blasted a ball of fire at one, "How are these gryphons?! They look NOTHING like Freak!"

"Because they're not Egyptian," Carter had a giant, glowing fist and was using it to punch gryphons out of the air.

I grabbed my sword, ready to use my blessing. I just wish my mom would go ahead and claim me. My brother says I just need to give it time, but that doesn't help much.

All of a sudden a gryphon flew at my face, I swung my sword and it erupted into golden powder. This happened a few more times until I was fighting back to back to back to back with Holly, Nicole, and Sky, just like old times. Nicole swinging her hammer, Holly stabbing with her sword, Sky shooting the gryphons above us, and me slashing with my sword.

After a few minutes there were no gryphons left, just piles of golden dust.

"Well," Holly said, "I could go for some cookies."
