Swan X Reader - Part 16 (Wreck 'em All!)

Morning came and the train pulled in at its final destination, Stillwell Avenue, Coney Island. Swan, Cowboy, Vermin, Cochise, Snow and Rembrandt all got off the train with a stretch and adjusted their eyes to the daylight. The early hours of the morning was rather quiet, barely anyone was around. After all, not many Warriors were used to being up so early in the morning. A good 80% of the gang was nocturnal, you'd crash at any time between 4am to 7am and then would wake up 8 to 12 hours later. It all depended on the soldier.

Swan guided everyone back to The Warrior's hideout. Now that he was back at Coney, the first thing on his list was to see if you'd made it back before him and the others. The remaining Warriors turned the place upside down, stretched every room and woke the other sleeping Warriors that Cleon had left behind from the night before.

"Swan! What are you doing, my Guy? It's six thirty in the fuckin' morning, Dog!" D-Train woke up with a yawn and hurried over to Swan and the others. "Have you seen (Y-N)?" Swan asked in a hurry. "No, Man. I've just woken up 'cuz yo' skinny white ass is making a ruckus." D-Train spoke as he adjusted his vest.

"We've lost a few Warriors, D-Train. (Y-N) is the last one to go missing and we don't know if The Rouges got her or if she made it back here before us." Cowboy quickly explained to the taller and darker man. "Shit, guys! Who else went missing?" D-Train dropped his jaw in shock. "We ain't too sure about what happened to Cleon, he went missing at The Bronx when everything went South." Swan responded. "Fuck. I told Cleon he should have taken me instead of that lil white prick, Ajax. I wouldn't have let that happen!" D-Train clenched his fists at losing his leader. "Speaking of Ajax. He got arrested." Cowboy added. "HA! Really?!" D-Train turned his disappointed reaction into a cheery laugh. "Yeah, and Fox got hit by a train." Swan added. "Nar, bro! Lil scouty boy?" D-Train then turned his reaction again back to disbelief. "Yeah, now we don't know where (Y-N) is." Cowboy shrugged getting concerned since you hadn't been found back at Coney.

"I bet this cat does. Come take a look at this, guys." Vermin caught Swan's attention by holding the hideout door open to the balcony.

Swan, Cowboy and D-Train stepped out onto the balcony and found the answer they were looking for. Cropsey parked The Rouges' hearse outside of The Warriors' hideout with a back full of heavily packed Rouges. As for you, you were kept hidden in the back behind Luther's seat. Cropsey pulled the brakes and pointed Luther's gun in your face so you didn't make a sound or call for help.

"Warriors. Come out to play. Warriors! Come out to play-ay! Warriorsss! Come out to play-ayyy! WARRIORS! COME OUT TO PLAYYYY! WARRIORS! COME OUT TO PLAY-AYYY!" Luther taunted The Warriors as he clattered three small beer bottles together as they slipped around his fingers.

"That's him." Swan commented to his crew. "What we gonna do?" Vermin gulped as he also watched Luther's taunt. "We're gonna take them out to the sand. Get everybody packed. D-Train, you're coming too." Swan planned and also recruited more muscle since he was gonna be needing the help. "You got it, Warlord. Let's go wreck some scumbags!" D-Train nodded and followed Swan's lead as he cracked his knuckles.

This was it, now was the time for The Warriors to come face to face with The Rouges for the first time. The closest The Warriors came to The Rouges was you, but you proved yourself when the original gang were Destroyers.

Everyone was going packed for this fight and there was gonna be no holding back. With how Luther treated you in the past Swan, Cowboy, Vermin and Cleon wanted you to have your revenge at the right place and at the right time. However, if you weren't present, then Swan wanted a one on one fight with Luther. Just to see how tough he was and to see if he was as intimidating as you made him out to be. Swan kept your gun hidden behind his back, just in case there was a sneaky way he could hand it over to you; or use it himself as a back-up. Swan was completely unaware of the ammunition contents or how to even use it, but anything useful for this fight was taken. Swan also packed the Switchblade he took from The Punks back at the station and kept it open in his hands at all times.

Cochise took a metal pipe. Cowboy still had the baseball bat from the Furies. Snowball took some molotovs. Rembrandt took some glass beer bottles he'd smashed at the base. Then the rest like Vermin and D-Train came with their gear ready to bop some Rouge scum.

"I honestly don't see the point in this, Luther. You might fool everyone else, but you won't fool Swan, he'll see straight through you." You explained to Luther and you tripped out of the parked hearse before stepping onto the beach. "If it does get under his skin or fool him, that's great. That's just a bonus. My priority is elsewhere. Now come ON!" Luther sighed as he faced you and held you by your wrist so you walked beside him.

Luther lead you and his crew down to the beach just like Swan lead his. Only that Swan and The Warriors were already waiting and you were on your way from downhill.

Never in all of your life had you experienced such anxiety and nerves hit your jelly-like legs and fragile glass heart. Luther pushed you in front of him so it was made out to look like you were the one leading the way, you kept your head down for the entire walk and attempted to control your breathing before you had an anxiety attack. Your heart was punching your sternum and your brain was pleading with Swan and The Warriors. You yeared that all of them would see through Luther's scheme as you were only dressed as a Rouge by force.

"What the fuck?" D-Train squinted his eyes.

"S-she. She fucking didn't..." Cochise stuttered.

"Shut up." Swan silenced his Warriors as you stopped a couple of feet away from Swan with Luther right behind you.

"When we see the ocean, we figure we're home, we're safe." Swan spoke as you avoided eye contact with him and the rest of The Warriors. "This time, you got it wrong." Luther answered back with confident body language. "Why'd you do it? Why'd you waste Cyrus?" Swan boldly asked Luther as he stood opposite him. "No reason. I just like doing things like that." Luthe laughed beside you in Swan's face.

"What about (Y-N)? Why did you do the things you did to her?" Swan calmly asked not giving Luther the reaction he was desiring. "Well... Look at her. She's a wuss under all that tough gal act. Yeah, she might be a badass murderer, a sneaky thief and the scout you love... But under all that, she's just a suffering, depressed, baby killing, whore!" Luther snarled his nasty and lengthy answer to Swan that hit your stomach hard. "You sick fucker, Luther! You KNOW that's not fair!" You widened your eyes as you death stared Luther over your shoulder. "See what I mean? She doesn't know when to keep her mouth shut. You're telling me you don't put her in her place when she lips off?" Luther scoffed and kicked the back of your knee so you slipped and kneeled down on one knee in front of Swan.

"No. I don't hit women, I don't drug women and I certainly don't rape them. (Y-N) only answers back to defend herself and that's what I love about her, she defends herself." Swan answered earning Luther a couple of stomach turning faces from the Rouges behind him.

You looked up at Swan for saying what he said. That little speech meant something to you, it was the first time Swan had ever confessed some form of love to you and you felt the meaning behind it.

"Get up." Swan held you up by the bicep to get you back on your feet.

"You don't kneel to me just because he forces you." Swan added loud enough for Luther to hear his metaphor. "Well, ain't that sweet?" Luther bit his lip laughing through his nose. "No one is permitted to hit a woman here. Not on my turf." Swan explained to Luther and kept his face straight as he stood you beside him.

"No one talks shit about (Y-N) either." Rembrandt added catching Luther's attention.

"Yeah. She's one of the smartest and one of the strongest Warriors here." Cowboy spat and tapped his baseball bat with his knuckles.

"You fuck with her, you fuck with all of us." D-Train cracked his neck and knuckles getting ready to bop.

"Is this supposed to scare me?" Luther blew raspberries and grabbed his gun from the inside of his hoodie that was under his vest.

Swan turned his head over to you and finally spotted the new bruises and gashes that were along your face, neck and arms. It clicked in Swan's head that Luther had been hitting you again. The corner of your eye had clotted into a bloody mess, your other eye was bruising a dark purple, your neck was stiff and your arms had pink grip marks on them. Not all of those injuries were from the Baseball Furies, Luther had a part in this and now it was clear to Swan; he just didn't want to admit that you failed to get away.

"I can tell that you've been hitting her again. Have you had her too?" Swan asked the big question that embarrassed you deep down. "Me? No." Luther honestly shook his head at Swan.

"Not yet." Luther included with a mocking laugh as he pulled the hammer back on his gun.

Swan knew what to do next. The only sensible thing was to start a riot between The Warriors and The Rouges to end their rivalry once and for all. Swan tapped your back with your gun that he kept tucked behind his back. With you now back with him, he knew whose hands it belonged in. You gave Swan a gentle nod as a way of saying 'Thank you' and tucked the gun behind your back. Today was the day Luther finally got a bullet through his skull.

"Warriors... Wreck 'em all." Swan ordered and began a beach riot.
