*SparkFurs POV*

I yawned as I woke from my sleep and opened my eyes to see my clan mates curled up peacefully in their own nests, Turning my head to the other cats I checked who was in the den and who wasn't, Noticing I was the first one awake I climbed onto my feet and navigated my way through the clumps of sleeping cats. Walking out of the den I notice the sun was rising in the horizon, "So patrols for the day can be Bri, Lilly, Jakey and Kay." I mumble as I walk towards the nursery in search of ViperTail who was most likely curled up in the nest with the three kits to keep them warm and safe from predators.

Entering the nursery I walk towards the middle of the den that held one lone nest and 4 cats, peering into the nest I see ViperTail curled around the two of the abandoned kits and FeatherKit on laying on her back leg, "Kay, Do you want to go on a patrol with some of the others?" I whisper quietly so I don't wake the kits as I nudge her head with my muzzle, "Mhm" She mumbled something tiredly as she lifts her head to look me in the face and yawned before continuing more clearer this time, "Sure, who else is going?" She questions as she picks FeatherKit up by her scruff and uncurls her tail from around the other two kits causing DoeKit to sneeze from ViperTails fur going past her face. "I'm thinking that Bri, Jakey and Lilly could go with you." I list off the names to her as she nods, "I don't see a problem with that group, I'll go wake them up." She mews after she puts FeatherKit down with her siblings and starts walking out of the den. "Take care of them!" She calls in a whisper as she exits the den. "I will." I mumble to myself as I look over to the three kits we had found abandoned in the forest a couple of moons ago.

Sorry about not updating for like 2 months. I was sick for 2 weeks and I didn't really want to write anything in the holidays (Three weeks and I've been at school for a week now.) so I left it until now. This is my first authors note so... Surprise?
