*PoolPelts POV*

Picking some burdock roots out of the ground I grumble when I pulled out a especially long root causing me to stumble backwards, "You ok Mi-" I flick my tail over FrostFangs mouth sending him a warning glance before turning to look at the ThunderClan border and back at him sending a silent message 'Too close to the border', He nods and whispers "Sorry, Forgot how close we were" I shake my head slightly while chuckling "Well try to remember, now help me carry these back to camp" I glance over to the pile of Burdock roots "I cant carry them all myself and I want to keep up a good stock of them", FrostFang nods before walking towards the pile and picking up as many as he could, "Thanks FrostFang" I mew before picking up the left over roots and walking back towards camp.

"Get off our territory!" A hiss sounded from behind us, I glanced over my shoulder to see we had only gone a few tail lengths away from the border, I look back to FrostFang to see he was also looking at the border, We make eye contact and nod once again a silent message of 'Lets check it out', "Were on our side of the border!" A familiar voice hisses back causing us to drop the roots and quicken our pace, We walk out of the trees to be met face to face with a angry ThunderClan patrol, "Whats going on here!?" I hiss at both sides causing DawnFlight and a ThunderClan apprentice to flinch "Where did you come from!" The apprentice screeched from shock, "HollyPaw stand your guard" A she-cat grumbles her tail flicking from side to side, "RoseFeather, DawnFlight what happened?" FrostFang mewed his eyes not leaving the brown toms emerald ones his tail flicking nervously, "They entered our territory!" a black she-cat growled while stepping forwards her claws unsheathed, "One more step IvyClaw and you'll be intruding on our territory" I reminded before walking in between her and the ShadowClan patrol, "Now RoseFeather what happened?" I mewed my ears slightly folding back out of irritation, He shifted on his paws nervously "Well-" "I'll tell them, its my fault anyways" DawnFlight cut him off before sighing and looking to the ground "I crossed the border" He mumbled "Why?!" FrostFang said surprise clear in his voice, "I didn't mean to! I was chasing a squirrel and didn't notice" He said innocently, "Liar! You tried to steal prey!" Came a hiss from the brown tom as he stood beside IvyClaw his ears pinned back, "OakWhisker don't make me repeat myself, Back off!" I hiss my tail flicking back and forth, "Your a medicine cat you cant fight us!" The apprentice growled as soon as he got out of his shock, "And you cant attack me, Now-" I flick my tail at the three cats behind me "- Were going." I grumble with finality before turning and walking back into the forest, I let my ears lift to hear my clan-mates following close behind.

"I'll report that to ShadeStar" I mew grumpily before picking up the roots again, glancing over my shoulder I see FrostFang picking up the other roots and DawnFlight with a slight limp, Noticing me staring he sighs "They got me when I caught the squirrel" He mumbled "And we didn't even get to keep the catch" RoseFeather growled quietly, I shake my head slightly as bad memories filled my head 'Xylo and Mario wont be happy about this especially with the gathering coming up'.

I walk into camp FrostFang and DawnFlight following close behind me as RoseFeather separates from our group, Walking into my den I walk to the herb storage and put down the burdock roots, backing up from the herb storage I mumble "Just sit there" I nod my head to the side of the den "Bye Mitch" FrostFang calls as he exits the den, I walk over to were DawnFlight was sitting and sniff his shoulder "Hm, Just a small cut you should be fine it'll just be sore for a day or two" I mumble, "Now, out" I mew to him, He stands up and starts walking out of the den with a slight limp "Thanks Mitch!" He mews as he turns out of my line of sight, 'They'll be here soon' I sigh as I walk over to my herb storage and start sorting through the ones that have gotten mixed.
